"Eventbrite alerts me to concerts I must see!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Eventbrite?

I am interested in concerts and concert tours all across the USA, paying particular attention to Denver, CO, Baltimore, DC, Tampa Bay, and Charlotte, NC. Eventbrite is constantly sending me emails with news of the latest concert tours, bands, and artists. Getting these emails gives me a better chance of getting a good seat at a show I want to go to. What do you dislike about Eventbrite?

I honestly cannot think of a dislike that I have with Eventbrite, as it does not spam me and alerts me to concerts much faster than if I were not using Eventbrite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Eventbrite Simplifies End-to-End Event Management and Promotion"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Eventbrite?

The fact that the event pages are customizable and simple to build makes them look professional and with the help of the multi-purpose event pages, we will make a good first impression without the assistance of a professional designer. The integrated promotion features and social media share functionalities proved to be a beneficial addition as well, as they have assisted us in reaching a broader audience and promoting ticket sales with minimum effort and the use of other marketing resources. What do you dislike about Eventbrite?

Eventbrite is an expensive service when one has to cover extensive and regular events within a strained budget since this company charges the fees rather rapidly. Event pages customization also tends to be rather restricted and it may then be challenging to make an entirely branded experience that would correspond to our organizational appearance. "The Best Tool for Event Visibility, if You Can Handle the Fees"
5/5
What do you like best about Eventbrite?

As an Event Operations Manager for a medium-sized company, my team relies heavily on Eventbrite to handle the end-to-end logistics of our corporate events. We host a wide variety of gatherings throughout the year, ranging from intimate VIP networking dinners with 50 guests to multi-day industry seminars and trade shows with over 800 attendees. We use the platform to build custom registration pages, manage different ticket tiers like early-bird pricing and student discounts, and securely process all incoming payments. Furthermore, we connect Eventbrite to our internal CRM and email marketing software to track attendee data and run targeted promotional campaigns. I appreciate most about Eventbrite is how much heavy lifting it does on the marketing and visibility front. Because the platform has such strong domain authority and its own massive user base, our events consistently rank high on search engines, and we actually get a solid percentage of organic ticket sales from people just browsing the local event directory. From an operational standpoint, setting up a new event is incredibly intuitive. Even staff members who are not tech-savvy can build a professional registration page in less than an hour. However, the absolute standout feature for my on-ground team is the Eventbrite Organizer mobile app. Managing check-ins used to be a highly stressful bottleneck, but the app turns our regular smartphones into rapid QR code scanners. It even works flawlessly in hotel ballrooms where the Wi-Fi is notoriously spotty, allowing us to keep the entry lines moving smoothly and giving attendees a fantastic first impression. What do you dislike about Eventbrite?

Despite its strengths, there are some significant drawbacks that constantly frustrate our accounting and marketing teams. The most glaring issue is the pricing structure. The ticketing fees and processing charges are exceptionally steep compared to alternatives on the market, and Eventbrite recently introduced subscription tiers for organizers who host larger or more frequent events, which feels like we are paying twice. We usually have to pass these extra fees onto the attendees, which often leads to complaints at the checkout page. Another major operational headache is their payout schedule. Eventbrite holds onto the ticket revenue until days after the event has actually concluded. When you are managing a medium-sized event and need to pay upfront costs for expensive venue rentals, audio-visual equipment, and catering, not having access to your own ticket sales creates severe cash flow issues. Lastly, the page customization is extremely limited; you cannot fully white-label the event page to match our corporate branding, so it always feels like you are borrowing their space rather than hosting your own. "Extremely Easy to Use with Broader Audience Reach"

What do you like best about Eventbrite?

It is extremely easy to use and the audience reach is broader than our CRM's reach Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Setup, Effective but Costly for Large Events"
4/5
What do you like best about Eventbrite?

I like Eventbrite because it is good for reaching people if you're first starting out, it is very easy to use, and there is a built-in marketing element to it. The user interface is very simple and it's quick to set up. Eventbrite is a platform that is well-known, recognized, and trusted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eventbrite?

I eventually moved to a different ticketing platform because the Eventbrite fees are quite high once you start to do bigger events and you're selling a higher volume of tickets. It doesn't work out so well, cost wise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Evenbrite Makes it Easy to Reach a Broad Community"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Eventbrite?

The program is turnkey. So it is easy to use. Makes running events much simpler. I do two seasonal events annually which appeal to families. It is easy to promote via Facebook using Eventbrite. I have also used EVENTBRITE to purchase tickets and in my role as a volunteer for local organizations. All of my experiences have been very positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eventbrite?

There is very little to dislike. Maybe the actual editor for creating the display ad/landing page could be more sophisticated. The search tool could be improved as well. The photo options are also very outdated. Nonprofits use clip art and I often have to reset outside app to fit appropriately. Once you overcome that, for a small nonprofit or business, with little time to spend, or one who needs to outsource to a volunteer, the program is very easy and I have only had positive experiences. I like that I can set up an event in just 2 minutes with Eventbrite, which makes the process very efficient. It integrates well with HubSpot, so I don't have to do any manual processes to get the data into our CRM. The initial setup of Eventbrite was easy, which was a plus for me. "Great for Family Events, But Recommendations Could Be More Targeted"
4/5
What do you like best about Eventbrite?

I really like how Eventbrite helps get my family festivals in front of people who actually want to attend. The personalized recommendations mean local parents and families see my event without me having to do a ton of extra advertising. It’s super easy to set up and track interest, too.

For example, when I hosted our annual family festival at the community center, Eventbrite’s discovery feature promoted it to nearby families who had attended similar events, and we saw a big increase in ticket sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eventbrite?

Sometimes the recommendations don’t feel specific enough, and my event ends up listed alongside things that aren’t really family-oriented. It can also take a little time for a new event to start appearing in searches or recommendations.

For example, when I first posted the festival, it showed up next to concerts and nightlife events, which didn’t fit our audience at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Reach, but Functionality, Communication, and Stability Need Work"
3/5
What do you like best about Eventbrite?

Their reach is great. We tend to sell nearly 30% of our tickets through them alone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eventbrite?

The reporting isn’t great, and they don’t integrate well with other platforms. It feels like the platform was built in a way that makes it exhausting to combine their data with outside data, which becomes especially difficult when you sell tickets through multiple channels.
