## About Eternus DX
The Deduplication/Compression function analyzes duplicated data in every 4KB of the write data from the server, and writes the duplicated data only once. After the first write, the data is referenced instead of writing the same data again. This reduces the total write size. Also, with the compression function further data reduction is realized.

**What do you like best about Eternus DX?**

The simplicity. If you use it for SAN only it is very simple, more user friendly than other providers offerings

**What do you dislike about Eternus DX?**

The Unified option, it adds some NAS but not enough yet to compete with the likes of Netapp

**What problems is Eternus DX solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Secure sharing of SAN resources amongst multiple customers
