IT Management Center™ (ITMC) clients gain full visibility into their complete environment, and they benefit from cost optimization, reduced publisher audit risk, streamlined and automated processes, and minimized endpoint and network security threats. ITMC Discovery and IT-Pedia® provide a continuously updated, normalized asset and license baseline. The publisher-specific Continuous License Reconciliation™ (CLR) modules enable license position reporting and proactive management around any licensing model. This includes Oracle GLAS-verified detection and reporting for Oracle Database, Java SE and Fusion Middleware, as well as SAP/SAP Engines, IBM subcapacity licensing, and many more. The Eracent SBOM Manager provides management and analysis to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, expose potential license risk, and support obsolesence management. This makes navigation and reporting tasks tough making it difficult for me to handle and analyze data. The team, at Eracent lacks the ability to adapt their tool to fit our requirements. **What do you dislike about Eracent?** The interface of Eracent is overwhelming and confusing for users making it a problem to navigate. Implementing Eracent across our technology ecosystem was time consuming. The support provided by Eracent also lacks in terms of response times and limited customization options. **What problems is Eracent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eracent is unable to solve problems, for our business. It complicates our asset management process. It does not enable us to monitor and manage our IT assets. Eracent provides asset management solutions there are aspects of the user experience and customer support that need to be improved. ### 2. It offers a sophisticated toolkit for managing assets. **What do you dislike about Eracent?** There is room for improvement in terms of making the user interface user friendly which simplify navigation and reporting tasks. **What problems is Eracent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eracent solves the problem of tracking and managing assets. This brings benefits to our business by ensuring asset inventory optimizing software licenses and ensuring compliance. ### 3. A lot of the manual processes in 9.2 have been automated in 10.2. Remedition between the Discovey and Lifecycle have simplified what's on the network and what's listed in the Lifecycle (purchased assets) to display a total package for the use for inventory, SAM and ITSM. In a nutshell, I best like the automation in the ITMC suite. **What do you dislike about Eracent?** If there is one thing I dislike about the Eracent ITMC suite is the use of the color green. **What problems is Eracent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Licensed software inventory and the ability to inventory both hardware and software without having to shutdown operations and the reduction of man-hours having the system administrators logging into each device and annotating what was found in the different environments. ### 4. That was our starting point. Since then Eracent has worked with us to expand its scope to track a broader range of assets. It is easily configurable and presents data in easy-to-consume formats. **What do you dislike about Eracent?** There is not a lot to dislike about this product/service. The firm has addressed the shortcomings that we have uncovered with unusual speed and haste. Not sure if we were a leading customer or as a start-up they were focused in capturing market share. **What problems is Eracent solving and how is that benefiting you?** See the above answer, but to reiterate, we were targets of software license audits by a number of firms, We got tired of truing up license counts without solid data to back up an argument. It took a couple of years to full mobilize Eracent across our technology ecosystem, but the last audit was more successful for us and less successful for the software firm - this was a significant win and Eracent provided the analytics to counter the initial audit findings. ### 5. These are all key in why our choice is Eracnet. Having been a user for over 12 years now, it has integrated its way into our workforce seamlessly. **What do you dislike about Eracent?** There is not much to say here. If there is a need for something, the team at Eracent does what they can to accommodate. With our ever-changing environments, it is great to have a tool that can evolve to our needs. **What problems is Eracent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Through automation, we have been able to reclaim licensing entitlements that would have fallen through the cracks in the past. Auto notifications of differen situations have allowed us to keep better control of our asset inventory. ### 6. Options and abilities for tracking and reporting on cloud-based software could be enhanced. **What problems is Eracent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Manage licenses, control and monitor costs, remain compliant and in a good defensive position for potential audits. Thanks to flexibility and data exchange with other systems we are able to realize a 'last-mile' connection between actualized SAM data (discovered installations, entitlement, licenses and allocations) and a manually maintained configuration management database of approved software titles. ### 7. Preparation is key for the implementation **What problems is Eracent solving and how is that benefiting you?** The solutions makes reporting of assets so much simpler and it allowed us to get away from maintinain spreadsheets for all the different software and provides reconciliation for our Oracle and IBM and MS portfolios. ### 9.
