What do you like best about Eracent?

Eracent has a user interface that is difficult to use. This makes navigation and reporting tasks tough making it difficult for me to handle and analyze data. The team, at Eracent lacks the ability to adapt their tool to fit our requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eracent?

The interface of Eracent is overwhelming and confusing for users making it a problem to navigate. Implementing Eracent across our technology ecosystem was time consuming. "Exceptional Suite of Tools"

What do you like best about Eracent?

I've been an Eracent user since version 9.2, now using 10.2. A lot of the manual processes in 9.2 have been automated in 10.2. Remedition between the Discovey and Lifecycle have simplified what's on the network and what's listed in the Lifecycle (purchased assets) to display a total package for the use for inventory, SAM and ITSM.

In a nutshell, I best like the automation in the ITMC suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eracent?

"Eracent helps with Asset Management and Tracking"

What do you like best about Eracent?

Eracent has helped us keep track of our software application assets at a time when we appeared to be a target for vendors performing license audits. That was our starting point. Since then Eracent has worked with us to expand its scope to track a broader range of assets. It is easily configurable and presents data in easy-to-consume formats. What do you dislike about Eracent?

There is not a lot to dislike about this product/service. The firm has addressed the shortcomings that we have uncovered with unusual speed and haste. Not sure if we were a leading customer or as a start-up they were focused in capturing market share. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Eracent solving and how is that benefiting you?

See the above answer, but to reiterate, we were targets of software license audits by a number of firms, We got tired of truing up license counts without solid data to back up an argument. It took a couple of years to full mobilize Eracent across our technology ecosystem, but the last audit was more successful for us and less successful for the software firm - this was a significant win and Eracent provided the analytics to counter the initial audit findings. More self-healing options for agents would be great.

What problems is Eracent solving and how is that benefiting you?

Manage licenses, control and monitor costs, remain compliant and in a good defensive position for potential audits.

Thanks to flexibility and data exchange with other systems we are able to realize a 'last-mile' connection between actualized SAM data (discovered installations, entitlement, licenses and allocations) and a manually maintained configuration management database of approved software titles.
