## Entuity Reviews
  ### 1. Robust Network Visibility with Strong SNMP Polling and Flexible Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sureshkumar A. | Design Engineer Professional, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

Entuity offers a very strong SNMP polling capability and provides robust network visibility. It also supports SD‑WAN and Cisco Meraki devices, which are not commonly supported by many other monitoring tools. In addition, Entuity now includes configuration management capabilities and can be easily customized to meet specific operational and business requirements.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

At the moment, Entuity offers limited support for configuration management. We still need additional functionality—such as IOS upgrades and more advanced configuration workflows. Strengthening these areas would be very helpful, since it would enable us to rely on a single platform for both network monitoring and configuration management.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Entuity provides monitoring for key device health metrics such as CPU and memory utilization. This data can be effectively used for forecasting and early warning analysis, helping to prevent device failures through proactive mitigation and alerting.

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> We're glad to hear that you appreciate our strong SNMP polling capability and robust network visibility, Sureshkumar. Our support for SD-WAN and Cisco Meraki devices is a key differentiator for us, and we're continuously working to enhance our configuration management capabilities to better meet your needs.

  ### 2. Painful Setup and Costly Licensing Held Back Implementation

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

It can be a good central repository for storing and monitoring network switch configurations if it knows how to talk to your switches. It can collect information about network congestion and hardware issues.
It helped identify network loops / changed trunks.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

Painful to configure. It required hours and hours of work to try and collect information from our switches and was never fully set up.
Licenses get consumed quickly and are not cost effective.
Onboarding was long calls working with a technician to figure out how to communicate with each model switch. We never even got to working on monitoring servers before we gave up.
Could never integrate monitoring of an Oracle enviroment the way we wanted.
UI was not always intuitive. Had to hunt/remember where to set things up.
Thank god it did not have AI.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not. We gave up on the product and will be switching to another solution that is cheaper and should have more flexibility.

  ### 3. Highly Customizable with Room for GUI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua V. | Network Administration Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

I like that Entuity is very customizable and allows for very nuanced setups. It supports a number of different IT platforms like storage, wireless APs, VMware, AWS EC2, and switches. With the ability to support many different platforms, it offers a mythical single pane of glass to monitor the environment.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

The software is very customizable, but there is a learning curve to it and to an extent a "Entuity" way of doing things. Some of the GUI interfaces are a little long in the tooth. Longterm an overhaul and realigning of the GUI would benefit users of the product. Some of the menu options are not as intuitive as I would like. I would like to see Entuity embrace some of the AI that is permeating other areas of IT and add the ability to create natural language queries, new alerts, monitors this way.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Entuity for monitoring uptime and utilization, providing a single pane of glass for network and VMware environment monitoring. It's highly customizable and supports various IT platforms, allowing nuanced setups across Storage, Wireless APs, VMware, AWS EC2, and switches.

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> Thanks for taking the time to review Entuity, Joshua. We're glad to hear that you find Entuity highly customizable and supportive of various IT platforms. Stay tuned for updates regarding Entuity's AI capabilities. We'll have an insider session taking place later this year regarding new AI enhancements.

  ### 4. Intelligent, Scalable Monitoring That Boosts Network Reliability

Entuity tackles the challenge of limited visibility and the manual effort involved in managing complex network environments by offering automated discovery, SNMP‑based monitoring, and real‑time performance insights. It supports proactive detection of faults, capacity constraints, and performance degradation across network devices and interfaces. This, in turn, improves operational efficiency, helps reduce downtime, and speeds up root‑cause analysis. Overall, network teams gain greater stability and scalability, along with more confidence in meeting service expectations.

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> It's great to hear that Entuity is helping to address the challenges of limited visibility and manual effort in managing complex network environments. We're committed to providing automated discovery, SNMP-based monitoring, and real-time performance insights to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

  ### 5. Easy-to-Use All-in-One Reporting with Clear Dashboards and Metrics

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gastón Matías A. | Monitoring & Observability, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

It’s an all-in-one tool with reports, dashboards, and summary metrics. It’s easy to use and makes it simple to get a clear overview.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

In some ocassion the information in "how to apply" some configuration is not easy to see in the website. We need more information for "how to" or video tutorial.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility and an easy way to see what's happening in the organization

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> Thanks for the review, Gaston! We're glad to hear that you find Entuity's all-in-one reporting, dashboards, and summary metrics easy to use and beneficial for gaining visibility into your organization.

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

its great versatility and functionality when it comes to monitoring networking devices

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

Price and the fact that it doesn't yet integrate with the Oracle cloud. It needs the Dev Team to develop a search menu to filter by Dashboards.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Observability issues within the organization. It is proactive and teaches you to detect many network interface saturation problems, etc.

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> Thank you for your feedback, Manuel. We're glad to hear that you are happy with the monitoring experience provided by Entuity.

  ### 7. Strong Network Monitoring, But Configuration Management Still Needs More Features

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

A solid tool for discovering devices and monitoring network devices.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

I’m currently exploring this tool for configuration management. While it does support configuration management, there are still many features that need to be incorporated so users can make broader use of the tool.

Would like to high light the drawback of using Active Active setup for config management.

Device onboarding capacity to be scaled from 1000 per server

Concurrent session count to be scaled

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m still exploring this tool from a configuration management perspective, so I’ll need a bit more time with it.

  ### 8. User friendly tool I used so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SHASHIKANT T. | Deputy Manager | Service Delivery, Aviation & Aerospace, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

The layout and ease of access administrative modules

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

Switch configuration and port mangement features could be a bit better

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the mojor part where i can able to use entuity in my daily business tasks is network monitoring and identifying availability and cable cuts.

  ### 9. Multi-Vendor Support with Added Telemetry Polling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manav A. | OMNET Design Engineer Professional, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

It supports multiple vendors and now also includes support for polling telemetry data.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

As BT hosts more than 50k devices, managing servers and handling upgrades becomes difficult, since a single poller can support only 1k devices.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A single tool for monitoring and configuration management.

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> Thanks for taking the time to review Entuity, Manav. Glad to hear that our new telemetry feature is working well for you. We understand the challenges of managing a large number of devices and are continuously working on enhancing our scalability to better accommodate the needs of customers with extensive device counts.

  ### 10. Solid product backed by a very engaged company that wants our input and takes actions on it

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean O. | Senior Manager of Global Platform Engineering for Monitoring, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

The deployment of ENA has allowed us to retire multiple other products and reduce the number of management IPs we have to configure in SNMP from 7-9 down to just two. Since that initial deployment, we have expanded it's use globally we allowed us to retire an additional 7 tools.

Possibly more than technical side, the relationship we have been able to build with the owners, Park Place, and the level of access to development and their senior leadership team as mean that we continue to get to steer direction on new features in the product to make sure it fits our needs as a service provider. I believe this is the best partnership we have had with any vendor in our history.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

The biggest challenge is lack of name recognition as we leverage ENA as part of the services that we provide to our client base. From targeted marketing or more highly visible partnerships, the Entuity name needs more recognition in the IT Network world. They were purchased by Park Place a few years ago which has helped in some areas but not in the area of name recognition in the monitoring space.

One other area of concern, which is likely true with many vendors, but something we didn't used to see with the Entuity folks is they tend to defer instead of just coming out and saying 'no' to some questions. If we are asking for them to support something new that doesn't make sense to them we would appreciate a more open and honest answer. I recently met with their executive team and got those answers that their engineers will no longer provide.

**Recommendations to others considering Entuity:**

Do a trial and work with the sales engineers. As a hosting company we have a very large and complex network and produces situations that they could not handle. The sales engineers immediately took those to development and in roughly one week we had a custom hot-fix that addressed all of our concerns. And to our delight, all of those changes were included in the GA product release to the public.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest has been tool consolidation. When we are supporting a client that is having a performance problem, the ability to go to a single console to see all the network views that we care about (instead of half a dozen different products) goes a long way to reduce the time to resolution. Then on top of that are all the event management rules we can leverage to control unwanted noise and out of the box integration to our preferred enterprise management tool, BMC TrueSight.

Another major gap that we have used Entuity to fill is to have regular backups of network equipment configurations across many brands. There are still some gaps but it is narrowing.

  ### 11. Is Entuity really worth it? A Hands-On Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rishabh T. | Software Engineer I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

user interface if Entuity is its best asset which is very simple and easy to use.
also event management and geographical google API are best feature overall.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

entuity API are not that developer friendly , which makes integration awkward sometime.
also sometime scripts is confusing sometime making interface lacking clarity.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it saves my time and improves focus as its root cause detection cuts down on alert fatigue by pinpointing the actual source. It reduced mean time to repair by 40-45%.
also it islolates where latency or performances issue arrises

  ### 12. The best ever network monitoring tool i used

Entuity's user interface is its asset. The UI of entuity is very simple and clear that anyone can easily understand and able to perform operations without any prior training requirement.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

I don't find much dislikes in the entuity but i could say configuration management could be a bit better. The reason behind this review is configuration management is not that clear and understandable like other features and options available in the tool.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset Management, Event Administration, Network management, Network continuity etc..,

  ### 13. My Entuity Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

Entuity is easy to deploy and maintain, offering a positive experience for end-users.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

Entuity needs improvements in standard reporting depth and ease of integration with network and applications.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As network scales, adding new vendors, tenants, or locations becomes a deployment nightmare.

Entuity’s Fix:
Federated architecture, multi-tenancy, and support for thousands of devices out of the box.
Benefit:
Scale without scaling pain. Maintain control across complex infrastructure.

Downloading the update package, moving it to server and processing is still tedious if the customer is not willing to go for open or proxy internet services considering security concerns.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have much info on this matter

  ### 18. Easy to Use and Comprehensive

  ### 21. Centralized Alerting AND Cisco Switch Management without CLI?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

From my perspective, the biggest plus is centralized switch management for Cisco products. I don't need to take time to look up the IP for the switch, SSH into it, take a copy of the config before, and after for my records and everything else. I can find it quickly in Entuity, it's already taken a backup of my config, then I select the port I need to change, apply the change and I can be confident it will reliably take a new copy of the config. Implementation was great thanks to Customer Support provided, Peter got us up and going within a week of the implementation call. I'm finding myself checking Entuity every day multiple times a day to get background information for my tickets.

It took minimal effort to integrate Entuity into our environment and begin using it right away.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

The configuration process for implementing OKTA 2FA was difficult, especially since the Example Config contained errors (the config is case sensitive, administrator needs to be lower case, the example has it listed in upper case which gave me a few hours of headaches to get working properly).

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Entuity is helping us keep a better eye on all of our servers and network equipment, centralize network management and automation as well as backing up configurations easily.

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> Thanks for taking the time to review Entuity, Jonathan! We're glad you enjoy using the centralized switch management feature in the tool - it's one of our favorites too.

Easy to use and great support with help in configureation or customization

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

Not being able to poll devices from multiple monitoring servers

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

providing a network monitoring solution with actual customer support

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your Entuity experience with us!

  ### 23. Best Enterprise Monitoring Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prof T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

Entuity is user friendly and very easy to configure and understand.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

I love everything about it, I cannot flaw it for anything, every idea shared with the team is reviewed and if it can be done we see it in the next patch release.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loss of device backups, we found that the tools we used prior did not do config backup pretty good and this is not in the past, the tool can easily connect to a device via the provided tacacs credentials. With an added feature called surepath we can monitor paths with this tool and pin point where a problem is faster.

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> Thanks for taking the time to review Entuity! We love getting new ideas from our user community to roll out in future versions.

  ### 24. Very good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

It's monitoring algorithm is very nice. It is good for larger network.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

Its need to improve more as per network concepts

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NTP monitoring, throughput monitoring. Incidents, netflow etc.

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> Thank you for taking the time to review Entuity! We appreciate your feedback.

  ### 25. Great Entuity Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randy S. | Network Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

overall Entuity has been a greatproduct, handling both SNMP and Configuration Management. What stands out to me is the support provided by Entuity. By far the best support group I've ever dealt with regardless of what the product.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

Simple things, not being able to move devices across pollers, filters don't stay when you select something from that filter and return back to that same view, the filter disappears.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Geo-Mapping is working nicely. Tracking network outages is also very beneficial.

**Official Response from John Reagan:**

> Thanks for sharing your opinions on Entuity, Randy. We're glad to hear that the support team is a key factor in your happiness with the product.

  ### 26. Easy to manage and use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ingrid U. | BSM Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

We have found in Entuity a very easy option to implement, manage and use to monitor the network infrastructure of our clients. It has several OOTB reports that make it easy to report and monitor different metrics. Another option that we quite like is Configuration Management, the entire Export Data and User Defined Polling Server modules for when there is some "different" metric that the client wants to see.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

The manufacturer's documentation could be a bit more detailed. There could also be a community or blog of users and administrators for common or known bugs and how other people have fixed them.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring of network elements in general (basic metrics), as well as personalized monitoring and configuration backups of the monitored elements.

**Official Response from Susan George:**

> Hi Ingrid, Susan George from the Entuity Product Team – thank you for taking the time to provide feedback! Will review the feedback with our Technical Writers re: community or blog of users and administrators for common or known bugs and how other people have fixed them. Please send your email contact info so we can follow-up: sgeorge@parkplacetech.com . Thank you!

  ### 27. A solid, simple, modern networking monitoring solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pete A. | Senior Manager Software Engineering, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

I'm really impressed how simple and straightforward it is to set up. It supports disabling of a lot features that you don't use, which makes it easier to do a phased implementation.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

There is no bulk select feature, so you have to manually clear each alert one by one in the event of a false positive.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps monitor all of our VMs, switches and access points, helping prevent serious downtime and avoids disruption in the business.

  ### 28. Excellent network equipment monitoring tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel V. | Jefe de Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

What I like most about Entuity is the versatility and scalability; if the devices to be monitored increase, it is very easy to add a new collector to monitor them.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

The only thing I could say I don't like is that integrations with third-party tools have to be done through Groovy, although the truth is it's not very difficult to learn.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem we solve is the visibility of our clients' network equipment. With Entuity, we have all the devices centralized and can see the entire network at a general level.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abrar Ahmad M. | TAC | Network Engineer | Palo Alto Networks, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

Best thing about the entuity provide the real time monitoring, detection and and the flexibility to export the data to find the root cause of the issue, which is very helpful for the administrators to prevent anykind of this issue or outages to be happen in future.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

First preference for an administrator is documents to know the thing quicker. In my opinion the documentation team or organization need to work alot on documentation. So that a person handing or doing configuration, should be well known or can get well described documentation while performing any configuration.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To monitor the activities in network architecture. If any maintenance need or detected any kind of issues or warning. We can prevent these issue to be happen in the future, which can secure our data and time.

Detail Entuity goes to with out of the box metrics captured over snmp and the ability to add further amendments or additions easily via support. Helping to identify issues before they happen, we are looking to make use of their route cause analysis to reduce the number of alerts occuring.

**Official Response from Larry DeAngelis:**

  ### 40. Entuity Network Analytics (ENA) really simplifies network monitoring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maurizio B. | Monitoring Offer B.U. Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Entuity?**

ENA is one of the most immediate and powerful product for network monitoring I've ever met. It's easy to deploy and configure, but it's easier to use. Our customer are able to use it after few hours of product training. After device discovery, it immediately enables inventory and monitoring, collecting informations about devices and generating incidents without any manual configuration. Almost all devices are supported and, if not, certification process via Entuity support takes few days to be completed. Its dahboard based interface is really intuitive and covers all monitoring and info needings (note that all dashlets in dashboards are exportable in most common formats or may be used for analisys). And it's fully configurable and modifiable. Features like netflow analysis, automatic map creation bewteen inventored devices, SurePath, resource trends, offer a complete perspective of network behavior. It also has a great out of the box reports set (about 100) covering the whole of the most common reporting needings, and if desired report is not present, there is a create report feature. OOTB data export makes integration towards other systems very simple to be implemented, and connectors for most common products are present.

**What do you dislike about Entuity?**

It's almost impossibile to find something that I or our customer dislike about ENA.

**What problems is Entuity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to monitor the whole of the network devices present in the networks of our customers (enterprise customers with a huge number of different network equipments). Monitoring is almost immediate and very accurate. Customer are almost immediately auto sufficient in use and perform normal product configuration (device group creation, threshold settings, event suppression, etc.).
