It is the best place to capture trades of any type like LNG commodities, Power, crude etc. It is also best to provide Back office support in raising of confirmations and invoices that will be shared with Counterparties. **What do you dislike about Endur?** Endur is vast, and the number of features it provides is enormous, making it difficult for any user to understand as there is no online support that anyone can take. It is expensive if someone wants to import only narrow criteria and requirements. It lacks performance-wise as sometimes if operations are enormous, it needs lots of memory otherwise, it takes time to execute. **What problems is Endur solving and how is that benefiting you?** Endur helps in trade capture, risk management, trade nominations and scheduling, Backoffice settlements and generation of accounting journals and so on. Settlement Desktop
Accounting desktop. **What do you dislike about Endur?** Lots of dependency.
Helpful if we get data of the tables in terms of java features like collections or to incorporate java related framework and to open for microservices.

Add plugins to use different IDEs along with eclipse like IntelliJ.
Add plugins to create an excellent UI for which user will have different experience.

In the current world we have many applications to create UI/UX screens like CUBA so if we have different modules in like trading manager or deal creating screen in different UI, it will help. **What problems is Endur solving and how is that benefiting you?** Back office related to settlements and accounting.
Desktop configuration are helpful and accounting rules.

Right from the Deal booking till the invoice generation and accounting. It is a complete package. 2) It can support two most used object-oriented programming languages (Java and C#). The library and coding framework was developed using both of them. 3) It can easily connect with development software like Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio. 4) It can easily interact with external applications, e.g., Endur explicitly has an ICE Gateway service which connects with the ICE (Intercontinental Exchange). 5) I like the way Endur has different modules which can interact with each other (In Endur language it is called different managers). Below are some of them: 1) Trading Manager (For Deal Entering/booking Purposes) ii) Market Manager (For curves and prices) iii) Credit Manager (For Credit checks) iv) Settlement Manager (For invoice status and generation) v) Accounting Manager (For Accounting) vi) Admin manager (Consists static data) vii) Service Manager (For End of Day and other workflow execution purposes) 6) Reporting is done very easily using its Report Builder module which supports different formats also (csv, excel, crystal) etc. **What do you dislike about Endur?** 1) The UI (User Interface) is a bit outdated. 2) Some core database tables are huge, and if you try to open them via Endur, it will usually hang. You need to connect to the external database application like SQL Developer or Toad to view those tables. 3) It cannot support multi-threading and garbage collection (from a coding perspective). **Recommendations to others considering Endur:** Apart from its outdated user interface and a few other things that I have mentioned, it is a very useful tool for the oil and energy industry. **What problems is Endur solving and how is that benefiting you?** 1) Automation - We are automating the manual processes for our clients with the help of Endur. e.g., Deal booking, settlement, credit check, accounting, every single deal life cycle process, we are automating them. 2) Report generation - We developed customized reports for our clients based on their requirements with the help of Endur. ### 6. It is highly customizable, and clients can implement their own trading processes using the configurations and the Endur API code. **What do you dislike about Endur?** Since it is such a vast application, sometimes for a client which only requires a part of its functionality such as logistics, the rest of the functionalities may look redundant. Also, the User interface is complicated for the new users -there are different screens and layouts for various operations, and new users may get lost sometimes. A lot of times, there is a need to have a specialist on board - in order to help navigate through the daily functioning of this application. **Recommendations to others considering Endur:** First, understand your requirement and look at other market players. For a big trading firm -Endur is ideal but for smaller trading companies, such as Eka software and Aspect are also good. **What problems is Endur solving and how is that benefiting you?** Endur helps in streamlining and optimizing the Energy (or Commodities) trading business.
