My job was just to validate the processes and I was able to route trucks with minimal experience with routing software. Previous software was much more complex. **What do you dislike about Encompass Routing?** There really isn't anything in particular that I can point out. There are features that we have yet to adopt to improve our routing process. Some of them were implemented post production. **Recommendations to others considering Encompass Routing:** Make the switch if you can, a lot of costs were eliminated with other 3rd party software packages. **What problems is Encompass Routing solving and how is that benefiting you?** Replacing piecemeal software that was previously installed, this is part of a bigger package deal. The results are consistent and there is no longer a lag or difference between each system. ### 3. I also enjoy having all of my accounts' purchasing history easily accessible. ### 4. It’s supposed to be instantaneous but it definitely doesn’t seem that way sometimes. **What problems is Encompass Routing solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest Business problems that we are solving using Encompass routing is our time in the market. We use this, and its benefits, to help lower cost of fuel efficiency. ### 5. We went from an old system that did not provide sales with much in-depth information to one that gives them a forecast, information about pricing, equipment assigned to the account, and promotions. **What do you dislike about Encompass Routing?** Maintenance of the data is more robust than our prior system. But the value we get out of the product is worth the investment. **What problems is Encompass Routing solving and how is that benefiting you?** Loading our trucks more efficiently with loading only what is expected to sell allows us to realize lower fuel costs and damaged product.
