This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate. **Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2019 **What do you like best about ElephantDrive?** It enjoys a quiet computer when you have a good backup service in the cloud. Everything stays there until there is no longer need it and that concerns about the status of files on hard drives. But needed strong and reliable services are made, rather than flexible. The most important thing is safety, comfort as we have in our PC in our home. ElephantDrive offers that and is something I'm really enjoying each file upload. **What do you dislike about ElephantDrive?** Usually when you do file backups usually want to be shared and is something that is also expected to ElephantDrive. But at this point unfortunately this platform does not offer the necessary flexibility. In other words, it is not what it should be collaborative. Actually, it is not easy share a file with some contact to do things in common. You have to put heart in this regard, one as big as an elephant to work together. **Recommendations to others considering ElephantDrive:** ElephantDrive connectivity is one of the advantages that attract them the most cloud service. It works great anywhere. Just simply connect to the platform to feel the fluidity with which works ElephantDrive and put your files on the second day in question. This leads to think that ElephantDrive is not the kind of services that requires a very fast connection to the sync job. ElephantDrive is a heavy weight that works very lightly. **What problems is ElephantDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** With ElephantDrive has made me easy to manage files from all my devices. ElephantDrive is platform and along with the PC, mobile computers, tablets, etc. After this you can access the backed up documents from anywhere with the convenience of being on hand most of the time. It is a way to say that you have files everywhere and at all times, in the worst case on a phone ### 4. With ElephantDrive you can have a backup of multiple devices **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Michael P. | Diseñador de páginas web, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user. **Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn **Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. ElephantDrive operates automatically, allowing you to back up files safely. On several occasions, I've found myself away from home needing to make changes to my documents, being the only one with access. Then ElephantDrive is at my fingertips to do what I need without problems. Even using my mobile, I've been able to access files I needed urgently, regardless of the distance. **What do you dislike about ElephantDrive?** Unfortunately, the ElephantDrive interface is not entirely user-friendly for ordinary users. It actually takes some time to understand it to use all its functionality. I think it's something that needs improvement. It would help if there were a better startup process or even a tutorial when starting the application for the first time. This would facilitate knowledge of the service and its future benefits. I suggest such changes to make it a more user-friendly web application. **Recommendations to others considering ElephantDrive:** It worked for me better than similar cloud services. ElephantDrive is very competitive among so many options, especially because of their price. Others offer more storage space, but in the background, I feel more comfortable with the reliability and ease of use of the interface offered by ElephantDrive. Using it with your computer works very well because its Android app is very easy to use with the same functions as the desktop version. **What problems is ElephantDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** With ElephantDrive you can have a backup of multiple devices and everything can be done within the same account. In ElephantDrive, I have associated my desktop computer, my laptop, and my mobile device to the account, and they are perfectly synchronized. I can continue adding more to have my files on all those devices without any problem. All files can be shared seamlessly. That's very good for me because I tend to move around a lot and work in different places. ### 5. Excellent tool to keep my files safe **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Isabella T. | Analista en Sistema, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user. **Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn **Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. Nowadays, having a backup of our data is very important, especially information that is sensitive and important for our job. ElephantDrive allows users to create backup copies of their files with a high degree of security by encrypting them. Its web interface is very intuitive and easy to use, which greatly helps the user, making it a friendlier platform. **What do you dislike about ElephantDrive?** Like all things, there are positives and negatives. Among the negatives, I could say that with ElephantDrive, the server sometimes goes down, and therefore, you cannot use the service until the server is back up. This really bothers me because it is supposed to be a service available 24/7, and they should always be prepared to face and quickly resolve such contingencies. **Recommendations to others considering ElephantDrive:** I recommend this cloud backup service because it has been really helpful. It is very simple and easy to use, has excellent security, is very versatile, and because it is so easy to operate, the learning curve is minimal. Considering all this, it is an excellent choice for everyone. **What problems is ElephantDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before having this cloud backup service, we kept backup copies of our files on other media, but for some reason or another, we always had problems, and sometimes we even lost valuable information. This is why we decided to use a cloud backup service. After evaluating several options, we decided to opt for ElephantDrive, and it was definitely the best decision. Since we started working with this backup service, all our worries have disappeared. ### 6. Very easy to work **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Jackson K. | Coordinador del equipo de marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user. **Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn **Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019 **What do you like best about ElephantDrive?** One of the things I like about ElephantDrive is its ease of use is very simple without any complications or cumbersome procedures and that is always a feature that benefits the user another thing I like about ElephantDrive is its price is not as expensive as other such services and last but not least is your service many times I've needed them either because he has a mishap or any questions I have responded quickly achieved quickly resolve any drawback that and I had **What do you dislike about ElephantDrive?** What I do not like about ElephantDrive is that its plans do not offer an unlimited choice as other services do. This is always a great and attractive feature because usually when you acquire this type of service, you start with small plans but then, over time and depending on one's needs, users typically look for bigger or unlimited plans, and ElephantDrive lacks this. **Recommendations to others considering ElephantDrive:** Without a doubt, I recommend ElephantDrive to any person, firm, or company, whether small, medium, or large, in need of a secure backup of their files, whether for work or personal use. Even if you are a person who travels a lot, either for business or your job, having all your files in one place, safe and always ready at hand when you need them, provides peace of mind. So do not forget, if you need a simple and easy-to-use secure option where you can back up your files, ElephantDrive is the choice. **What problems is ElephantDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a backup of my files is crucial for me because my work requires me to operate from different locations. Regardless of where I am, I have access to the data or files I work with, and nothing is better than having a backup that you can use anytime and anywhere. This truly gives me peace of mind. ### 7. ElephantDrive, good value and excellent backup solution **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Alfonso A. | Analista Programador Sr. de BI, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user. **Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn **Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thanks for completing this review. **Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about ElephantDrive?** Access and configure was very simple, its price is accessible. Its functions with excellent use, in terms of second executions, backups and its interface is of good quality. This software has been useful since the ability to view file versions is unlimited and enjoyable for both us and our users. You can edit and execute jobs with just one click, the support almost always has quick answers because they have experts in the field. **What do you dislike about ElephantDrive?** What I did not like about Elephantdrive is that I only have to open the most used applications but my computer is very slow. Sometimes we have several problems, because when a job goes wrong, the help desk does not seek a solution to our problem. We do not have a view to look at files or folders in particular, its interface can be confusing at some times, but when you have a good learning about this application, things become easy. **Recommendations to others considering ElephantDrive:** I recommend ElephantDrive since it is very easy to configure and use, make backups that are reliable. It is a tool that protects all the data of our users, with excellent service and simple implementation. **What problems is ElephantDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use this application to make backup copies in case we have lost any document from our clients, it is of great use because it satisfies our need satisfactorily. We implement for end users and it has not brought us problems, our user data is easily saved, a backup that only needs maintenance can be performed, and the speed used by recovery reduces downtime. ### 8. Good but could improve **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Walberto L. | Jefe de Soporte en la Agencia de Publicidad Antimarketingd, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user. **Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn **Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2019 **What do you like best about ElephantDrive?** Among the positive aspects that I like about ElephantDrive is that besides creating a backup of my files, I can synchronize them through many devices and share them with other users without any inconvenience. I can also make a backup for local storage, including network storage of devices and external units. **What do you dislike about ElephantDrive?** There are cheaper alternatives to Elephant Drive, its download speed is somewhat slow and the experience from the desktop is somewhat frustrating **Recommendations to others considering ElephantDrive:** If you are looking for a good tool to help you with your backups that is easy to use, that allows you to easily compile your content with your colleagues, that you decide who you give access to your information and who does not, who may also be used on any device whether mobile equipment or servers, and also its security is excellent, this is the option is not the most economical but does a good job, certainly there are some aspects that are better than its price and customer support But if I compare the pro and cons that ElephanDrive has, I think it's a good option, it's simple, easy to use, easy to share and what it offers is what I need, so for what I need I'm satisfied that if before use it I would recommend that they understand their characteristics well and compare them with other services so they will not have unexpected inconveniences **What problems is ElephantDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to have a backup of my data, files or information and being able to share it with the people I love quickly regardless of the device is something that I really find very attractive and useful so it saves me time and effort ### 9. A modern storage software with good collaboration features **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Antonio L. | Soporte Técnico, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn **Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2019 **What do you like best about ElephantDrive?** ElephantDrive has a simple design to use. It has the ability to synchronize and save files, documents and presentations. It allows me to share files between the different members of the company. The best thing is that it provides up to 1000 GB of storage to synchronize from more than 100 devices. Also, it gives me great comfort not having to press a button every so often to synchronize, since this program does it automatically. **What do you dislike about ElephantDrive?** I have problems with the format options since they are limited with some services of the unit. I also considered that ElephantDrive should mention which security protocols it uses, since it mentions certain keys for encryption, but the name of the key is not displayed. **Recommendations to others considering ElephantDrive:** I recommend it for companies that need a backup plan, because of its speed and ease of use. It is a great product in price-performance ratio. It also allows a good organization of the uploaded files and a collaboration between the different members, up to more than 100 devices. **What problems is ElephantDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** ElephantDrive stores backup copies of computers in the information technology and management area, which must be preserved no matter where they are located and allowed access. In addition, it allows to easily share files among different members and grant permissions for what can be viewed or edited. ### 10. Simple but powerful tool with an easy-to-use interface. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Josh M. | Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Validated Reviewer:** This review contains authentic analysis and has been reviewed by our team **Incentivized:** This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review. **Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2019 **What do you like best about ElephantDrive?** I love how it synchronizes perfectly with all my devices and is accessible from anywhere. It also indicates how to use the software very easily, which helps me a lot because I am by no means an expert in technology. I feel safe knowing that my data is protected. The price is competitive and works at least as well as Dropbox for my incremental backups. I think he wins on the synchronization side. It just seems more reliable in that regard. I loved that they had a free trial so I could play with it and see what it was like. **What do you dislike about ElephantDrive?** The least I like is that ElephantDrive does not offer an unlimited plan, therefore, it would be advisable to add that plan because competitors offer unlimited backups. On the other hand, it shares files very well, but it is not designed for collaboration as much as other programs. However, this makes sense since ElephantDrive is more for the backup of all my files in the cloud than for anything else. **Recommendations to others considering ElephantDrive:** Super simple to use and believe me you will enjoy it, you can learn very fast and you will feel full confidence in the software. You can be sure that everything will work well as backup since you can create backup copies of files quickly once the steps are followed, you can have more than one user, work with multiple devices as it has a fast connection. I recommend it if you do not need a lot of storage space. **What problems is ElephantDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** We really found this software easy to use and very versatile with many different options to meet all our needs in the company. Personally, it helps me a lot because I work on the fly and in many different places and many times I need to review or upload a file to share with my colleagues. ### 11.
