Eplan P8 is an amazing design tool, it provides all what we need to design and draw pneumatic and electrical schematics. The ease to create BOMs and reports from the schematics make this tool a perfect complement in your machinery design. We can get from data portal pretty good parts and manufacturing information just importing the part in a few steps. It is ease to import and export 3D models and 2D drawing, this make us able to integrate any other document that we need to detail enough our schematics. The file management is amazing. Propanel add-on is hard to use, needs to improve. Sometimes is easier to create the panel 3D representation in another platform and import it into Eplan. It is required to have a good management of the parts data base to have good reports.
