## Editor X Reviews
  ### 1. A powerful web building suite that aims to elevate the design experience to new heights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adex G. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

I like its commitment to facilitating collaborative workflows. The ability to invite team members, collaborate in real time, and manage access rights streamlines the design process and encourages effective teamwork. This is particularly valuable for agencies and design studios working on complex projects.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

While Editor X offers a rich and diverse feature set, it does come with a learning curve. The vast array of options and customization possibilities may be overwhelming for beginners or those accustomed to more uncomplicated website builders. However, for professional designers and agencies seeking a robust toolset and complete creative control, Editor X is a compelling choice.

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform's attention to detail extends to its robust e-commerce capabilities. Editor X provides comprehensive tools for building online stores, enabling users to create engaging product catalogs, implement secure payment gateways, and customize the shopping experience. This integration of e-commerce functionality within a powerful web builder is undoubtedly an advantage for businesses seeking to establish an online presence.

  ### 2. Editor X - Sadness

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

It is nice editor and probably reached webflow level after many years.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

Bad news you cannot reassign your current plan to editor X website. This feature is here to hassle existing customers with remaking existing websites and pay more to Wix.

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives you better tools and some features that you dont have on normal editor. But believe me it is not worth remaking the website and paying more.

  ### 3. It's Like Taking the Kid Gloves off of WIX

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris K. | Web & Graphic Designer / Owner, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

Editor X has removed the constraints in place with Wix regarding where you could put content within a strip. If I see it, I feel I can make it in Editor X. You have the entire canvas to work with.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

The learning curve has been steep, unlike any other platform I've used. You need to master the core features/functionality to ensure success truly. I've become accustomed to a trial-and-error approach to learning other platforms with relatively few issues to overcome. This approach does not work as the errors and level of frustration increase at a greater pace than the learning. Take the time to consume the learning materials online. It will save you so much time.

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again there seems to be no limit to what you can do as long as you have a good understanding of the front and back end. While I keep an eye on new platforms, I'm no longer looking for platforms that do 'x' that say Wix was unable to. Editor X is bleeding-edge technology that listens to the community and builds features you want.

  ### 4. Pretty easy to use editor with advance customisation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

Probably the best part is their easy to use WYSIWYG editor and build on add-ons and app at top makes it much easy to use at the same time can make complex design

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

It missing some Essential features that I would like to have especially it has limited animation and interaction options I would like to see more option as a web designer

**Recommendations to others considering Editor X:**

I am using EditorX on multiple client's websites it is very easy to use ad has many pre-built features just need some improvement in interaction panels. Would recommend using EditorX if you need a custom high-end website that is easy to set up and manage

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personally I hate coding and editor X one of the easiest website builder to make highly customize website that too at different breakpoints. It has benefited my clients who need high end websites with a simple interface

  ### 5. Best visual site builder out there—but it comes with a few quirks.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael G. | Creative Director, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

The editor is quite intuitive. It is quite different from Wix, so those unfamiliar with Wix can easily learn how to build sites. Beyond standard Wix, Editor X truly gives you full control over every visual detail of your website.

VISUAL CONTROLS
The ability to create immersive web experiences in Editor X is amazing. As a designer/developer you have full control of views, scrolls, page/element builds, transitions and animations.
Breakpoints ensure that the website looks sharp on every type of device. If you need an exception, you can easily add another breakpoint.

CUSTOM DYNAMIC PAGES
• Setting up dynamic pages is easy.
• You can link those dynamic pages to other dynamic content such as a blog. This gives you the ability to create things like multiple bio pages with direct links to blog articles that they wrote.
• There's not much limiting user ability here.

DYNAMIC CONTENT
Repeaters allow you to design one element, such as a card containing someone's bio. The repeater will then link to a database with staff information and auto-design the rest of the layout for you with everyone's information.

APP BASED SOLUTIONS
From marketing and social media management to managing schedules, internal processes (including business flows) and invoicing. Everything A-Z is built-in and easily integrated into your site.

GREAT FOR DESIGNERS AND DEVELOPERS
Sure, advanced developers may balk at Editor X. At least until they try it. We've worked with several Fortune 100 companies and built their concept sites within Editor X... setting the bar high for devs.

IMAGE HANDLING
Editor X is amazing for retouching images and people. You have controls over everything from color correction, cropping, and effects, to an AI-driven close-cropping tool.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

Price. We thoroughly enjoy working in the Editor X environment. While it can make sites look better than Wix, Wix still offers better stability and database-driven features, including dynamic pages. Wix is also 10X more stable. So why charge double for a system that still feels beta? More insulting is that Wix users will find some basic Wix features are not available in the more robust Editor X.

Glitches. While the platform has periods where it is quite stable, there are periods where there will be odd behaviors.

Here are some of the glitches and quirks that drive us nuts:
• We've encountered changes reverting randomly.
• Clicking on an object and watching it suddenly change the color, add a border and add a drop-shadow involuntarily.
• Line-spacing will make you cry. You can set your CSS styling to include line-spacing in Wix, but not Editor X.
• Wix allows dynamic content within a database. This is great and empowering for clients that want to manage their own content in a beautifully controlled environment. Yet not available in the more premium Editor X.
• Navigation controls and animations. There are some controls, but it can be quirky trying to move design elements into the header.
• SVGs and databases. Yes, SVGs are allowed in the database but will break your repeater.

**Recommendations to others considering Editor X:**

We recommend Editor X. It's far superior to other builder tools like Webflow, Duda, or Elementor.

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Editor X allows us to make create site design visions become reality. The system is also easy to use and edit. Clients love the fact that we can edit and wholly transform their site in real-time.

  ### 6. Premium solution for responsive design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ann-Cécile B. | Web designer et spécialiste en communication numérique, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

I enjoy the section-based design and the ability to set custom breakpoints to suit any design. Once mastered, the hover interactions allow for very fun custom animations and behaviors. As a no-code solution it is very powerful, and as a low-code solution the sky is the limit.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

Some bugs are still present and can slow down work. Some of the very basic features of the classic Wix editor are strangely not available in Editor X - however, the dev team is filling in the gaps little by little.

**Recommendations to others considering Editor X:**

It is best to initially take time to get to know the editor with a test website, explore forums and leverage the community to quickly learn about the product features. Once learned, the product is a pleasure to use.

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Editor X allows for a completely responsive design with a high-end feel. It is a good solution for agencies developing websites for clients, and certainly a tool to have in your web design toolbox.

  ### 7. Templates are gorgeous but they need to bring more templates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryn A. | Junior Web Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

Looks suitable for creating blogs or e-commerce websites. I have checked some of their templates (especially for beauty stores), and I love those templates. Those are gorgeous.

Also, the 'App Store' feature looks great. Indeed, you do not have vast options for plugin/apps like WordPress but you will get all your necessary apps in the 'App Store'

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

Templates are gorgeous, but there are only a few templates for creating your sites or designing great creative. It made me disappointed. Anyway, they need to bring more templates to attract the user. I will recheck the review & editor X after the month, and if they get positive updates, then I will increase the rating again 🙌

I hope they will bring more updates soon!

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have tried it for creating fashion-related blogs for efashionia. Options are standard, but the interface is slightly different from other CMS. Anyway, Editor X made it easy to create gorgeous sites even with no coding knowledge.

  ### 8. Ok, a lot of room for improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony J. J. | Real Estate Agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

Editor X is a part of the Wix ecosystem which is great, it has been fairly easy to learn how to design websites on editor x and may be a good webflow competitor at some point.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

Editor X lacks a few key features that the Wix editor has and new features are rolled out very slowly. Editor X costs more than the regular Wix editor and it should've been launched with the same features as Wix plus more. It's also not possible to create actual web apps with editor x, and you have to learn code to create dashboard type apps/websites for customers like you can on platforms like bubble with no code.

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me create a consumer experience for new customers and helps me explain my business services. It helps me bring in new leads with blogs and forms to capture information.

  ### 9. A Good Editor that Leaves Room for Greatness

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marlon H. | Founder & Executive Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

THE UI/UX is very solid, with a good amount of layout templates and options to pretty much create whatever you want.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

The learning curve is quite significant, however they do at least provide a boatload of docs & videos to help with the particulars. Also, a specific thing that I really do not like is the current inability to re-organize your pages.

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Editor X, I'm able to create a custom website that is good for both standard and e-commerce websites. With Squarespace, I am much more limited in design ability.

  ### 10. Impressive CMS management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam J. | Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

It looks awe-inspiring CMS management tool. It takes only half an hour to create a web2 blog website with Editor X. I have great experience designing gorgeous websites with this software.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

They have to improve more by bringing more templates in all categories. Anyway, their templates are great

**Recommendations to others considering Editor X:**

Recommended for quick website building

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Created blog websites that explain our contents, and sometimes I offered gorgeous websites with low budget

  ### 11. User-friendly interface and tools

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham P. | Digital Marketing Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

Easy to use interface and tools. I was using Wix for a long time then I got a recommendation to use EditorX from Wix itself and I liked its interface and support system.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

Not all the options available like the Wix website builder

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unlike other drag and drop website builders, EditorX is customisable easily with pixels. We can built a design however we want.

  ### 12. Honest review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan J. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

Great for Web Creatives with no coding knowledge!

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

I find in the evenings Editor X runs more slowly than the morning, Germany.

**Recommendations to others considering Editor X:**

Go through the academy first and learn how to use the responsive features.

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to offer my clients fully bespoke websites with no limits!

  ### 13. The Ultimate WYSIWYG Website Builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard V. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Editor X?**

Built in features: CSS Grid, Flexbox, and custom break points.

**What do you dislike about Editor X?**

The occasional bugs when building in the builder.

**What problems is Editor X solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to create more complex layouts within a website builder without having to use custom CSS.
