"Always a Person never a number"

What do you like best about ECGrid?

I can genuinely say, I have never felt like a number when it came to their support and service. Loren Data ECGrid has always been available and approachable. They have helped me through some major changes at my current employment. I can't thank them enough. If you are looking for a VAN replacement, I would highly recommend them. What do you dislike about ECGrid?

I am not sure I have anything negative to say. So far they are a great comfort for our migration from Open Text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ECGrid solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are in the process of migrating several direct customers and replacing our current VAN with Opentext. Issue ONE: Certificate Management. We had too many direct connections for a ONE person EDI team. I am not sure the word team should even be present when referring to one person, but I digress. Issue TWO: Missing Orders because of communication Outages. Their service will retry sending any documents to our system until we send them a good MDN. Also, the portal provides a way to resend documents to our system. The portal will be a great way for us to resolve any unreceived outgoing documents from our system as well. They have a great search method that will enable to us to investigate our own possible communication issues. (if any). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"What EDI hosting should be"

What do you like best about ECGrid?

ECGrid is the easiest and most versatile EDI mailbox platform I have ever found. It is what EDI mailbox hosting should be, the ability to quicky send and receive EDI files and then translate them however you need with whatever platform you have. The Support and reliability of the system is top of the line and quick. I have recommended this platform to everyone I know that uses EDI over the years and have never heard of a complaint after they started using it. I have been working with EDI for over 20 years and can say that ECGrid is the best decision I ever made when it comes to EDI! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ECGrid?

What problems is ECGrid solving and how is that benefiting you?

We found even when an issue was created by our users that ECGrid is able not only able to sort it out or help us sort it out very quickly; they are often able to show us, in their production systems, a tool that to help us alleviate the issue if we ever encounter the same issue again. "ECGRID - very easy to use"

What do you like best about ECGrid?

I like ECGRID because it is easy to use. The GUI interface is clear and understandable. There is help available on the screen and it is easy to understand. I like that you can download the instructions for later use.

I also like that their support is very responsive. I got an answer right away. They fixed the issue and then sent me an email on how I can fix it next time my self; thus, helping me to work independantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ECGrid?

I wish there was an editor on the guid interface so I could see the exact unprintable characters that are on the file, for example at the beginning and end of the document or also at the end of the lines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and consistent with access to good mailbox tools"

What do you like best about ECGrid?

We've been using ECGrid for several years now and we haven't had an issue with our mailbox not being available. Additionally, when we have problems with our local EDI software (not related to ECGrid), the mailbox search tools on ECGrid have been very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Searching for certain documents (e.g. 753) can take some work sometimes because certain data (e.g. PO) isn't searchable for some reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have found the service to be very reliable, with consistent uptime and advance warning of any planned maintenance. The support staff, in particular, have been professional and effective. What do you like best about ECGrid?

ECGrid is an excellent connection portal through which we can communicate with other EDI VANs and takes a lot of management off our shouilders. Connecting with other VANs is super easy.
