You can set very specific 'Brand Suitability' profiles depending on the client's needs. Also, the way it syncs with DSPs (like The Trade Desk) for Pre-bid filtering is amazing. It doesn't just tell me what went wrong after the campaign; it helps me prevent the waste before it even happens **What do you dislike about DV Pinnacle?** What I find a bit frustrating is the data latency. In the performance world, we need real-time data to pivot budgets, but sometimes DV Pinnacle has a significant lag before the data shows up in the dashboard. It makes it hard to catch fraud or brand safety issues immediately as they happen, forcing us to be more reactive than proactive sometimes **What problems is DV Pinnacle solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a huge time-saver. Instead of manually checking every site list, Pinnacle’s 'Brand Suitability' filters do the heavy lifting. The other feature I appreciate is the ability to pull reports from DV's user side. **What do you dislike about DV Pinnacle?** There were some challenging moments when communicating with DV reps. Still, overall, the DV platform is relatively easy to use, especially when pulling reports to see how the ads are performing. **What problems is DV Pinnacle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Through DV, we're able to see which sites and devices are producing the most amount of Fraud/SIVT incidents in order to reduce the overall Fraud %. This will help to increase viewability for all the ads we deliver. ### 4. It’s very ordinal, so as you’re navigating through the platform it tells you exactly what’s the next step of setting up your blueprints. **What do you dislike about DV Pinnacle?** Sometimes the page crashes when you’re loading large geo lists. It seems like it has to do with the page not being able to support so many. There’s workarounds like saving the page ever so often instead of bulk pasting all of your zip codes . The platform should really look into having a upload function and doing away with pasting. **Recommendations to others considering DV Pinnacle:** DV pinnacle is a sure way to ensure your campaign’s Blocking and monitoring parameters are set up the way that they’re supposed to be because you’re the one who’s flipping all the levers/who’s importing all of the lists so you know exactly what’s going on in your campaign. Granted, the account managers do go in and make sure what you’ve implemented is up to standard. Also, anyone who’s an advertiser or marketer should always look into brands safety and as someone who works with multiple clients, DV’s Self service platform is the best route to go for this. **What problems is DV Pinnacle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Learning to use pinnacle solves a lot of middleman issues. It being self service makes the turn around so much faster, something that would that would take hours to get back to you from a partner literally only takes 15 to 20 minutes on your end. It’s beneficial when you need like a quick pull and everything is on the platform so you don’t have to go to a rep to get the answers that you need ### 5. Pinnacle is usually pretty easy to use. They've been making many updates to it recently to make it more thorough. **What do you dislike about DV Pinnacle?** Sometimes it seems to be less intuitive than it should be. I'm not sure why everything has to be separated out, like it's not possible to include YouTube in your main publisher data. I'd like to have one report that I could use for everything. **What problems is DV Pinnacle solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it to monitor brand safety, fraud, and viewability for our ad campaigns. Viewability and fraud are really important to our clients so we need to make sure we can stand behind our media. We also use Viewability as a metric for some clients who don't have a lot of conversions to measure because we feel if something isn't seen, it's not going to lead to success. It's fairly easy to use and we feel they are a trust-worthy brand in the industry. ### 6. DoubleVerify is making massive pushes and changes in an attempt to keep up with competitors and startups encroaching into this space. Currently, DV is top notch in their brand safety metrics. **What do you dislike about DV Pinnacle?** Unfortunately, DoubleVerify is simply not keeping up. With major competitors such as IAS and Moat providing much, much better reporting features, DV is being slowly phased out. In order to survive, they will need to continue to work on their reporting platform. **Recommendations to others considering DV Pinnacle:** I would recommend looking into Moat or IAS before making the jump **What problems is DV Pinnacle solving and how is that benefiting you?** DoubleVerify is utilized at our company to look in fraud, brand safety, and viewability level metrics. We've been able to work with the DV team to stem any non-brand safe items from the onset. ### 7. Our team is still working to get auto reporting set up in DV. **What problems is DV Pinnacle solving and how is that benefiting you?** With DV we have been able to integrate a system where our account only pay for viewable impressions. We’ve realized that there is the ability to not only monitor the ads but actually block the impressions from occurring in the first place if the environment is not what the client is looking for ### 14.
