Duplicator Pro handles serialized and base64 serialized replacements. Standard WordPress migration and WordPress backups are easily handled by this plugin as are zero downtime migrations. ## Duplicator Pro Reviews ### 1. The interface is intuitive and easy to follow. When there are problems generating a duplicator package the troubleshooting steps that automatically appear are also helpful and generally solve the issue without much fuss. There are a lot of options available to both WordPress users and developers who are looking for easier ways to move sites around, and Duplicator Pro works well for us. **What do you dislike about Duplicator Pro?** The installer script tries to process the zip file before it allows you to input database credentials. If you didn't specify the destination details when the installer was created, this is slightly inefficient. It's a minor point and probably somewhat subjective, but I liked the older versions of Duplicator that allowed you to pre-fill the settings even in the generated installer script versus requiring those already be specified when the package is created. **Recommendations to others considering Duplicator Pro:** Try the free Duplicator version to get a feel for things, when you encounter situations where the free version is not sufficient, you should give the Pro version a shot. We have not been disappointed! **What problems is Duplicator Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Duplicator Pro saves our team substantial time when migrating, deploying, staging, copying, or otherwise interacting with WordPress installations. It eliminates a lot of the troubleshooting & unnecessary workarounds that moving between different environments usually takes. The options available through the plugin make it robust enough to accommodate all of the situations we've thrown at it so far -- it has already paid for itself in time savings compared to other options like manually copying databases and files around. ### 2. The feature that allows you to use Dropbox and Google Drive as backup storage is excellent. Additionally, the program is very easy to use, intuitive, and allows you to use external backup space outside the concerned domain, thus saving space that might be limited. **What do you dislike about Duplicator Pro?** Honestly, there's little to say that I don't like. The program tested works well both in terms of functions and ease of use. If I really had to point out something I don't like, I can say that there is little informational material and guides in Italian. **Recommendations to others considering Duplicator Pro:** For those who have never tried Duplicator Pro, I recommend watching tutorial videos available on YouTube that explain all the program's functions well before using it. **What problems is Duplicator Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** You can duplicate and clone WordPress sites both individually and in bulk. The cloning function is useful if you need to perform tests on the site you are working on. The cost of the product is very low, and the annual license costs about 100 euros depending on the features. Very convenient for those who are used to the conveniences of Installatron on hosting with cPanel and find themselves having to work on platforms without Installatron. ### 4. This is a huge time saver when we are doing wordpress backups and migrations. **What do you dislike about Duplicator Pro?** There isn't anything that I dislike and I've only had positive experiences with it. **Recommendations to others considering Duplicator Pro:** Definitely give them a try.
