With this platform, you can render a 3d image of any area captured by a drone. The software is super easy to use on all devices.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

The cost is expensive! The "little guy" would be able to have access to this if the cost wasn't so much.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Post-processing of 4000+ images creates a nightmare for rendering. This cloud base system does it all for you and provides top-quality results.

  ### 10. Measure, Analyze, Integrate a bird's eye view!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

DroneDeploy helps us immensely with our grading design and corresponding cut-fill analysis. It also allows us to create a 3D surface of the existing terrain, thus providing a reliable reference for any underground design - foundations or utilities.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

I wish DroneDeploy allowed us to import 3D models into the interface so that we could overlay the new design with the existing scanned surfaces.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DroneDeploy helps us immensely with our grading design and corresponding cut-fill analysis. It also allows us to create a 3D surface of the existing terrain, thus providing a reliable reference for any underground design - foundations or utilities.

  ### 11. Good for flight plans. Post processing could be better.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manuel L. | GIS Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2022

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

The iOS app is excellent for planning missions. The app is free and easy to use, and you can save flight plans offline. I especially like the terrain awareness feature that allows you to fly over varying terrain while maintaining the same ground distance resolution. My first attempt to use the app resulted in a flyaway that I corrected. But newer versions have been solid with no problems.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Its online interface for creating orthomosaics and other deliverables is still lacking and a little more difficult to navigate. It will generate decent enough results if you want to just drag photos in and generate maps. However, if you compare it to the functionality of Pix4D Mapper, Metashape, or even WebODM you quickly realize it doesnt have much configuration or ways to troubleshoot problems with your images.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use DroneDeploy primarily for drone mission planning. I work in cultural resource management, which is useful for creating quick flight plans and executing them in the field. It is compatible with many of the common drones such as DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Phantom 4.

  ### 12. Great tool for In Wall quality control and progress reports

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Some of the smart tracking features they are focusing are dont meet our needs

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

visual documentation of site conditions at any point in time.

  ### 15. Struction Site is reliable and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan J. | Assistant VDC Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

The ease of sharing photos with the project team. Struction Site allows me to share a project with a link, to anyone internal or external. Users can also login to their account to view all their projects using Procore. Once they sign in, the interface is straight forward, so new users can begin utilizing the photos immediately.
(Update)
The Video Walk feature is especially great on sites with very few reference points. It captures photos continuously like a timelapse, and I just need to Identify a start and stop location on the plans. Struction Site also filters out the blurry photos, so when you select a photo it is always the best available.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

When analyzing a photo, you can add a note, tag a team member, create a new Procore RFI/observation or assign an existing one. These features are underdeveloped and limited in usage, but the biggest problem is the user interface; the tags will block parts of the image or be partially off-screen on standard/flat photos.
(Update)
1. The iOS app relocated the shutter button to the corner of the screen; This is not an ergonomic position on the iPad, and the feature to reposition the shutter button we removed.
2. Before heading on-site, I habitually open Struction Site while connected to wifi to update the project. Unfortunately, while on-site, if there is poor mobile data reception, the floor plans and pins may not load, and I cannot capture until it does.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

Struction Site has been reliable for years and is easy to use regardless of computer specs, or technical abilities.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Struction Site is very helpful in weekly meetings. It ensures every team member is on the same page in regards to site conditions, whether they are based on the job site or working remotely. In ownership or BIM coordination meetings, a significant amount time can be spent discussing solutions based on speculation of what is built, but with updated photos tagged to a current floor plan, an unanimous decision can be determined in the moment. Struction Site helps us make decisions quicker.

  ### 16. Great for Real Time & 3D Mapping Solution

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2022

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

The best part is that DroneDeploy is continuously updating and enhancing features more and more to suit the user's requirements. The support team is always ready to hear, understand and suggest appropriate ways to accomplish them at either end.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

At times, the data captured is either more or less than the designated flight plan, although it's good when it's more but really a trouble when it's less than the desired one.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ther real-time mapping for on-demand areas providing the latest imagery for various solutions like 3-D mapping, elevation info, detailed roofing info etc. Very supportive customer support team, ready to help always.

  ### 17. Structionsite: The Future of Jobsite Photography & Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob S. | Project Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

Its interface is easy to learn and share

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Photo sizes quickly eat up memory storage

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Structionsite, we can tackle a few problems that have existed for contractors historically. Structionsite allows you to take, store and share Jobsite pictures (standard & 360 degree photos) in a very organized fashion. The app prompts you to upload floor plans to use as a 'map' when taking photos. Having the map accessible makes taking photos easier and faster for the photographer. After photos are taken, they create 'pins' which you can later stack multiple images on top of. Each stack of photos within pins are time-stamped linearly, so it is effortless to look at specific images taken from certain locations and periods of a project. Once the floor plans have been populated with pins, you can export the map in a pdf format to share with anyone of relevance. Communicating the state of a project is made effortless when using Structionsite. In addition to the app's standalone features, it has plug-in capabilities with other software, such as Procore. By integrating Structionsite with Procore, you can upload floor plans directly from your Procore project. These floor plans update automatically whenever new drawing sets come out, so you never have to worry about working off of outdated drawings. Furthermore, the photos you take in Structionsite can be synced to the Photo folder within Procore, aiding in the distribution of information. In sum, this program has streamlined the process of taking, storing, and sharing Jobsite photography to project parties, all in a time & cost effective manner.

  ### 18. Using AI to Monitor and Manage Construction Production Tracking - Wow, the Future is Here Already?

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin J. | Senior Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

1) The snapshots of the whole project that we can keep stored in the Cloud, which preserves the condition of the project at the time of the picture-recording. So, later, if we have a damage on a wall we have completed, then we can prove that the work was completed per plan and per schedule, but another trade damaged our work once we stepped out of that area we've completed. So we wouldn't be doing the work again for free, but have the GC backcharge the offending party and pay us to redo the work.

2) The Artificial Intelligence tracking of our work. We are a metal stud framing & drywall company, and Structionsite can pick-up the metal framing, the drywall (layers of drywall), the taping, picks up the soffits and ceilings separately... We find this to be extremely useful and getting accurate production tracking, instead of a percentage average from foremen, which we can't rely on 100%, is difnitely a step up. Having an accurate production of our completed work helps us to stay on top of our projects. We also like that the information is current and not out-of-date. And saves us time and manpower, especially the superintendents and PMs and PEs, as they don't have to visit the site as often, and lose precious time driving back and forth from the jobsite. It really is the Artificial Intelligence that is picking up on the metal framing and drywall boards put up. I am still baffled as to how the AI is able to distinguish the difference, but we are very impressed!

3) The analytics. Great help in tracking accurately, and I don't have to do any math on the side or run some long calculations on a spreadsheet.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

1) The field users complain about the Memory Storage of the camera. My guys basically wanted to be able to walk the whole job (may take the whole day) and be able to just walk it as 1 continuous walk, which they were not able to. Sometimes, we run out of "digital" space on the camera and have to stop the camera, end the session, and restart a new session. However, I believe the newer cameras have more memory now and might not be an issue anymore. No real complaints about Structionsite app itself. Once our team figured out how to use this app, no complaint.

2) Like anybody else with almost anything in the business world, I can use a cheaper price. You did give me a discout, which my team appreciates. =)

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

Send the "Set-up" to the Strucionsite team. Don't set them up yourself. For $100 per project, why spend all day setting up yourself? Let them take care of you. You just have to send them the pertinent floor plans and RCP, and information about the conditions of the scope, and the OST file. They are responsive and helpful.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Accurate tracking. The foreman will report a set of production numbers, the superintendents will have another set, then the PM or PE might have another set of counts.
Usually, the tracking is within a tolerance of 5% but now, we can rely on Structionsite, or if the tracking seems way off, we can refer directly to the picture-recording of the area in question, and the production or work completed issues are resolved.

2) Doing some basic math, we are going to be saving about 300 hours a year on manpower - related to walking the job for tracking alone.

  ### 19. Versatile and Easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zane A. | Estimator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

Ease of use is the best part. You can use it on every platform as well (android, apple, Microsoft, etc.)

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

The only thing I dislike about Structuresite is I didn't know about it sooner. I find new uses for it on every project.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

The setup is easy; the uses are limitless, make it part of your regular work flow. You will not regret one minute you spent using Structuresite. Highly recommend a 360-degree camera but not a requirement.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Structuresite on prebid job walks; we use it for weeks job site photos, we use it for quality control, we even use it for owner handover. An owner wanted to install a TV after construction, and they were able to go look on structuresite and see that before drywall was installed, the backing was put in precisely per plans, and they could install their TV where it was supposed to go.

  ### 20. Review for DroneDeploy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2022

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

It is very useful software, especially for drone applications, and has many functionalities that are not there in most software.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

There are a lot of functionalities for which there was no or less documentations.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving a very important issue of drone-based software and it was useful for me since I wanted to perform mapping using this.

  ### 21. StructionSite Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan C. | Project Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

I appreciate the selection of filters when viewing/exporting plan sheets. The UI is very simple.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

I initially had a hard time figuring out the "Tag" function. I kept trying to create a new tag from a specific photo or plan sheet until I realized I needed to add a tag from the project overview page and then go back to the sheets. It would be convenient to add a new tag while viewing a specific pin. Most if not all of the issues I've had are related to an error or "bug" on the back end. For example, the StructionSite servers were down, the platform wouldn't allow me to remove a tag, etc.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before StructionSite our team was producing Progress Reports via PowerPoint. This was a bit time consuming and we were stuck with 2D photos that didn't provide a reference as to where the picture was taken from. This required us to provide brief descriptions on each of the photos. We now have substantially increased the quantity of photos we provide the owner (from approximately 5 to 70 or so) on a weekly basis. Additionally, by updating pins weekly clear and consistant progress updates are possible. In one case recently, we were able to reference previous photos taken in patient bathrooms to identify the exact locations of plumbing cleanouts that had since been covered with sheetrock and tile. This removed the guessing game and allowed us to reduce the amount of both time and material needed to rectify the issue.

  ### 22. Jared Woodard's StructionSite Review (DPR Construction)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared W. | Project Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

One of the best options is ability to access the timeline of the photo pins. In construction, you can view progress, QC, and verify installation procedures with photo times. I also like the feature of combining pins. When you are taking photos and accidentally make a new pin you can combine the pins to your liking.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

There has been issues where my photos didn't publish online and were lost. However, the awesome structionsite team was able to recover my photos within 48 hrs.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With structionsite I can confirm past installation progress, perform quality control, and provide information to clients on install progress. I am also able to utilize structionsite with working remotely from home. Being able to access jobsite photos from home is amazing and extremely helpful.

  ### 23. Awesome Tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

That I can call up a floor plan and find a photo of current construction status and past history.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

I cannot think of anything that I disliked.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

I highly recommend StructionSite. I am an architect and the contractor used StructionSite to share construction status. We could look at field conditions and answer questions quickly.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it if I need to see if something was installed correctly or at all. Saves me a trip to the site. I just open the app and look at the photos.

  ### 24. best software for the construction industry. a great tool to save time.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

You can see the photos on a plan and do not have to take 100 pictures and categorise them. You can take a 360 image that is attached on a plan exactly showing you where you are and what the surrounding looks like. Fabulous.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

The only drawback is downloading the drawings from structionsite one by one and no functionality to do a mass download. Hopefully an update in near future will resolve this.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showing the progress of site to the team without having to take them out to the site and it is a very effective tool especially during covid where site visits by the design team and project control group is not feasible.

  ### 25. Easy to Use and learn

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Paper & Forest Products | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

First of all the training videos are SOOOO helpful; as a first-time drone user, I had no idea how to do anything. The "creating flight path" video was incredible. Drone deploy has impressive capabilities to stitch photos together of huge areas.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

The setup for organizing/creating projects in drone deploy desktop is not easy to navigate.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a Forester, I use drone deploy to take pictures of areas that have been logged. The benefit is that drone deploy lets you create flight plans out in the field(as long as you have internet access)

  ### 26. Best Solution to View Jobsites Anywhere

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** john r. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

The interface is very user-friendly, intuitive and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

I would like a sketch pad feature to sketch a floor plan when I don't have a .pdf to load.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are providing a higher level of site documentation for clients. The use of StructionSite has made our clients happy.

  ### 27. Good Tool to Show History

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam H P. | Project Superintendent, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

Easy to use and stack photos/review progress.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Long load times, especially if you don't sync before going into the field.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

Set it up good the first time.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is showing progression in the field to remote owners and proving history of covered-up work.

  ### 28. Software loose connection with Aircraft.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

It can organized drone image and provide a valuable solution to different industries.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

The software disconnect from aircraft often, Which it will lead to a crash of your drone. I had lost 2 drone trying to use Drone deploy and the companies does not provide support for their Technical failures . You will loose your Drone.
I use Mavic pro twice.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

do not use it unless you have insurance and if you care about your aircraft , reach out to Drone deploy and asked them if the will be responsible for the failure of its software. Remember Droneploy will take over your aircraft an then it will disconnect.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I crashed one drone trying to provide a solution for one of my builder clients, so I reached out to drone deploy saying that the software fail to return aircraft when the battery was low .

their respond:
"our engineers show that the logs cut while the drone was in the air at 160ft. This indicates that there was a loss of power to the drone. This is likely due to how the battery is placed in the drone. Often if the battery is not placed properly, it can detach from the drone mid-flight and will cause the drone to fall."

Mavic Pro Holds the Battery very well. How come if you fly it with DJI I ve never had lost power very strange is not it?

anyways I went out and buy the 2nd drone. On my 3rd fly, The Drone deploy disconnect from the Aircraft and the air craft fly away. I lost my aircraft. I want Dronedeploy to pay for my Aircraft...

Our engineers took a look at the logs and were able to see that the drone entered ATTI mode right when it began its fly away. Since the Mavic Pro controller does not have an ATTI mode setting, the drone seems to have lost its ability to maintain position based on GPS. In ATTI mode, the drone does not maintain its position, the wind will push the drone and it can be very difficult to control. The mission on the drone is stopped and only manual control or environmental factors can control the drone.

To summarize the cause of the flyaway seems to related to be GPS!!!

It was a sunny clear perfect day to fly the drone.

  ### 29. Structionsite is a great software for project documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

The software is very user-friendly and reduces site visits required.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

I cannot take measurements on the photos, but they are currently working on the option from my discussion with the rep.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using software to reduce the number of site visits required during pandemics.

  ### 30. StructionSite is a good tool for progress tracking of pictures

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2021

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

The easy use and access of photos takenn

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Website sometimes crashes when uploading

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to share progress pictures of a whole project with just one link

  ### 31. StructionSite helps us at all project phases.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd B. | Director of Virtual Design & Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

StructionSite's ease of use and the amount of time it saves over traditional photos is tremendous.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Would like to see more backend account controls for projects. Greater metrics, archiving projects from project list, organization of the projects with the ability to filter and/or sort project list.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us to fill in the "do we know if" questions. StructionSite allows us to go back in time in the project to verify critical information about what happened and when. We saves time by not having to make repeat visits to a jobsite to verify information and we can share it with others working remotely to cut down on unnecessary travel.

  ### 32. Perfect for 360 Photos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

I use structionsite to take 360 photos around the jobsite on a weekly basis. This intuitive app is great in that you can tag locations on the drawings at you take them. This saves time from needing to manually tag each photo to a specific location.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

I do not have any issues currently with this program.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

This is the absolute best software for 360 photos, it makes tracking and organization a breeze. I also recommend using it with Procore to gain even more benefits of the program.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking 360 degree progress photos to track progress and for future help finding behind wall MEP's.

  ### 33. Best construction tool I've ever implemented!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John A. | Operations Technology Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

I really like its ease of use. Simple to understand.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Only that they team doesn't live closer.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

StructionSite is a powerful tool that if used correctly, can increase your quality of construction, as well as speed up time in meetings not having to argue about actual site conditions.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving multiple "problems." The most obvious being CYA for issues that may arise in the future. We also utilize StructionSite as a tool for our inspection process, so we know what the room looked like when our employee did their inspection. We are seeing less issues causing us to have to open walls in doing so. People are "signing their name" to the completion of a task by taking pictures at key points in the construction process (pre pour, pre sheetrock, exterior progression etc.)

  ### 34. Great experience so far. The software is innovative and user-friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

Easily exporting to PDF and sharing with external users.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Sometimes we have photos of the existing location and that helps to capture the existing conditions. When we upload a record photo like that, we don't see it right away unless I change the time frame. That should be automatic.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

The greatest benefit for other construction companies is that you can capture a 360 photo, which allows you to see all the details of a particular area, and keep that in your record, as well as tieing that photo to a location on the building.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Issuing weekly photo reports to clients. Conducting virtual tender walks. It allows us to share the 360 photos with subcontractors and it gives them a clear picture of what's happening on site.

  ### 35. Effective and efficient photo documentation is a game changer.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar C. | VDC Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

Ease of use and ease of navigation. Price point is a huge plus.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Better side by side 3d integration with software such as Navisworks.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

Take it for a test drive and see what you get vs the competitors and their pricing.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick documentation of in wall elements. It has minimized the need to perform exploratory work as well as site visits. We can track work in place for billing quite easily. Our owner and design team can easily view progress.

  ### 36. Efficient & Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

The organization of the platform really stream-lines the photo capture process before, during, and after construction.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

We have found had inventory issues with 360 cameras that are compatible with StructionSite. This is not StructionSite's fault, but it may be useful to have more 360 camera options available to use with the platform.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had very disorganized storage platforms for photo documentation prior to StructionSite - it was very hard to find a photo of a specific location on a specific date, but StructionSite solves that issue.

  ### 37. After we renewed, they locked us out and asked for more money. Sleazy tactics.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stan K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

Right now, nothing. We decided to rely on them and they decided to lock the account with no notice.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

The sleazy sales tactics to pressure you into paying more money is terrible. Consider: Drone Mapper, Terrascan and Near Earth Autonomy.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

do not go with this company

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

right now, nothing.

  ### 38. Structionsite Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian Z. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

I like that the format is easy to use, clean layout, and user friendly.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

I dislike the time it takes to process video walks

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving teams insight to projects they normally wouldnt have, this allows us to send smaller teams to field.

  ### 39. 360,000 Words

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2020

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

Just started to use, but I can already see the real value in 360 degree documentation. If a picture is worth a 1000 words then a StructionSite picture must be worth 360,000 words

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

Working from a cell phone on a bright day in the sun is difficult to see the screen to make locations.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Historical data documentation

  ### 40. Drone Deploy Clunky and Expensive and not a good place to keep reference images,

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rene L. | Mr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2019

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

The idea of using drone software to track the progress of a building sounds brilliant, except it doesn't really have any benefit or usebiulity.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

The defenition is not high enough and thus useless as one can't see any detail later on. Yes, you can see the house/project is progressing, but there is no way to go back and see detail that might be important, ie. location of piping, wires etc. Also it is super expensive after the free period is over. I subscibed for a year and thought I would be able to download my pictures afterwards, but there is also NO way of downloading the pictures. So in fact, I miticulously flew my drone for a year to track the progress, paid $1000 to do so and now because I do not continue my subscription all is lost. £@$@%&*^(&
If you are not a corporate and have a clear business plan with Drone Deploy I would not waist my money. There are free open source versions available,

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

It is not possible to download the images uploaded to DroneDeploy later. When you upload images, save them to a different location as well otherwise they will be lost and you will be held hostage by DroneDeploy to continue your subscription.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None for me, thoght I would be able to track my progress, but just flying the drone and taking video would have worked better.

  ### 41. Overall satisfaction of DroneDeploy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

I like our easy it is to setup different flight templates types and then quickly prepare flights in the field. The quality of date captured and process is great and the browser apps make if easy to analyse and understand what is currently happening and over the life of the project.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

I hate not being able to chain flights together back to back instead of landing after each flight. I also don't like the difficulty of sharing flight data with non-license project members. I can share links of individual maps. panos, etc, but it would be much better to be able to share a single link to an entire days worth of different captures.

**Recommendations to others considering DroneDeploy:**

Get it. It's a fantastic product that listens to its customers and constantly improves.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking construction site progress and analyzing historical data. Using scans and photos for inspections. Using site scans for site current site logistics plans.

  ### 42. Great Tool for Crow-Sourcing Site Photos

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about DroneDeploy?**

StructionSite makes it really easy to capture and find construction site photos. Our users love it and it's becoming a key tool in project delivery. It's so much easier to go to StructionSite than head out to the field.

**What do you dislike about DroneDeploy?**

We has established location breakdowns in BIM360... it would be great to be able to tag photos to locations so when I search for a room, I can see all the associated photos.

**What problems is DroneDeploy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Photos used to be on peoples phones or on shared drives, but it was impossible to find them. StructionSite fixes this and also allows us to manage 360 photos!
