It's a very easy to use as well as straightforward program. In fact, it won't be hard for a person who has no technical background to be able to use it. **What do you dislike about DriveImage XML?** DriveImage XML is just compatible with XML formatted files. The users are not as well served by this type of backup storage as the other popular backup options such as .iso and compressed folders. This enables program or device imposition on data being stored which numbers access to your files from other computers or platforms. **What problems is DriveImage XML solving and how is that benefiting you?** DriveImage Proven XML has provided easy means of backing older computers, which I cherish for the nostalgic purposes. It is the best match for the need of those who doesn't require anything new except of the hi-level of freedom and the size of .XML. It's easy to use, has more than one means of making sure that it gets all the data, it's fast, and, for home users, there is a free version. Typically, when I setup a new PC for someone, I will use something like Windows Easy Transfer to copy user data from the old PC to the new PC. After that, I will use DriveImage XML to backup the old PC and I will give this backup to the user. If anything was not transferred in the initial copy, the user can easily extract it using DriveImage XML. **What do you dislike about DriveImage XML?** When DriveImage XML creates a backup, it does it in 2 steps. If you aren't familiar with it, you will think that you are nearly done with the whole process when the first part is almost complete. The second part, though, is much longer and can feel like it's taking forever. **Recommendations to others considering DriveImage XML:** Try the free version. I use it at home all the time. **What problems is DriveImage XML solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easy archive creation. Easy ability to look at the contents of an older PC many years later. Also, I make a copy of the image file for my data. I usually use this tool with my files recovery in case I lost my data. **What do you dislike about DriveImage XML?** All of the files take some time to restore and the images files are in XML format which it is not easy for me to convert to any other format. I would recommend the engineer can improve the performance for backup the data. **What problems is DriveImage XML solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use DriveImage XML for transferring media and always recommend to the customers to use this tool to back up the data for free because this tool provides a clean user interface and is easy to understand. ### 6.
