I primarily use DRACOON to share large files and sensitive documents securely with clients and partners via password-protected, time-limited download links, eliminating worries about email attachment limits or insecure file transfer services. It turns what used to be a source of stress into a reliable, set-it-and-forget-it process, providing peace of mind by protecting our data at the highest level without sacrificing usability for the team. I appreciate DRACOON's client-side encryption (Triple-Crypt technology) and granular permissions and rights management. DRACOON feels like it was built for organizations that can't afford security shortcuts, delivering on that promise without unnecessary complexity. The process of sharing highly confidential information is both locked-down and simple, giving me 'wow' moments. I also appreciate that DRACOON integrates quite heavily with our existing Microsoft ecosystem, fitting seamlessly into our daily workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the performance with very large files or folders to be an issue. There's also an initial setup and learning curve for admins, and the desktop sync app has limitations. Though none of these issues outweigh the benefits for our use case, they're the honest trade-offs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
