## About DPP Hero
DPP Hero is self-service software for digital battery passports. It helps manufacturers and importers that place batteries on the EU market prepare the battery passport required from 18 February 2027 under Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 for electric vehicle batteries, light means of transport (LMT) batteries and industrial batteries above 2 kWh. Instead of an IT project, DPP Hero provides a guided editor in the browser. For battery passports it follows a seven-step workflow based on DIN SPEC 99100: identification, materials, carbon footprint, due diligence, circularity, performance and labeling. Each step covers the data the passport needs, from GTIN and manufacturer details to chemical composition, the CO2 balance and lifecycle stages of the LCA study, recycled content and spare parts, capacity and voltage, and the declaration of conformity. Batteries below 2 kWh without a passport obligation are registered on a single page with one QR code per model. Every published passport gets a public product page and a QR code for download as PNG or SVG. Passport data can be exported as PDF and JSON at any time for audits or internal documentation. Existing product data comes in by CSV upload or REST API from ERP, PIM, PLM or LCA tools. Organization data, production sites and contact persons are managed centrally and appear automatically on every published passport. From the Business plan upwards, supplier share links let external partners such as cell or component suppliers fill in specific sections of a passport without creating an account, and public passport pages can run on a subdomain of your own domain, so QR codes issued under that domain stay under your control if you change provider later. Product and account data is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). Auto-save with a conflict warning protects a passport when a colleague edits the same product. The interface is available in English, German and Simplified Chinese. A free plan with one test passport includes all core features, so you can try the software before choosing a paid plan.
