DPP Hero is battery passport software designed for the EU Battery Regulation 2023/1542 and DIN SPEC 99100. It structures data through a seven-step workflow covering identification, materials composition, carbon footprint, supply chain due diligence, circularity, performance specifications and labeling. The platform captures mandatory data for electric vehicle, light means of transport and industrial batteries above two kilowatt-hours, which need a passport from 18 February 2027. Published passports get a public product page and a hosted QR code following GS1 Digital Link, with export as PDF and JSON. Supplier share links let external partners contribute data without an account, and bulk import and export runs via CSV or REST API. Hosting is located in the EU (Frankfurt). Regulatory updates are implemented after publication while captured data is preserved. DPP Hero is a GS1 Germany Solution Partner and is aimed at small and mid-size manufacturers and importers.
