I was depending on my search hits for gig leads, but I can't access my own page. There was a FB page for the company and last year it filled up with complaints from paying customers who were losing business. It appears to have been deleted. If anyone has a referral to a similar product that is actually supported by its developer, kindly advise. **What problems is Doodlekit solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used to have a very nice-looking, professional website. Now not so much. Can't access the home page for Doodlekit, can't log in. Can't contact CS department. ### 2. I decided to try out their site builder and was pleased with the easy and convenient set up. I then decided to upgrade to premium service and that is where my problem began. First off there is no phone number so you must email them and wait for a response if you get one at all. After I submitted my payment, the confirmation message said that it could take up to 24 hours for my domain and upgrade to be complete. 4 days later my domain name was still available to the public (unregistered) and no upgrade took place on my account and I was still limited to the free account capabilities. I sent 2 emails to customer support and did not receive any response. I'm glad I paid with my paypal card because I'm certain that they wouldn't refund me anytime soon since I couldn't even get the services that I paid for. I opened a Paypal case for a full refund and purchased better service elsewhere. The well-structured Doodlekit editor does not require additional skills and knowledge to understand and use it. It's incredible that I don't have to download or install any software to create a website, and the fact that we can log in from any computer with an Internet connection to make changes. Also definitely operate in Internet Explorer/Firefox because when we tried to sign up initially on Google Chrome, it wouldn't allow us to create a profile. I did not want to use my general business site, and stumbled across DoodleKit after searching for an inexpensive and quick site builder. This review is about their free (basic) plan, and that is the one that I have used. My favorite thing about this site is that it is VERY easy to use, probably the easiest of any site builder I have tried. I paid someone to create my business site, and knew I did not want to do that for the (short term) purpose of my new website. There are a TON of website templates to choose from, way too many for my liking, and I was happy to narrow them down to what I was looking for by searching the keywords "zen" and "minimal". You can customize pretty much anything, and easily add your social media sites, business hours, slidesshow/photos/ and blog. Also, the websites look great on mobile devices! **What do you dislike about Doodlekit?** The templates are not super fancy, but they do the job. This is not a dislike, just more of an observation. **What problems is Doodlekit solving and how is that benefiting you?** For a small business (one person!) like mine , Doodlekit is exactly what I need. They commented that it was easy to do (there wasn't a one of them who had html experience of ANY kind). **What do you dislike about Doodlekit?** I heard no complaints in truth. Probably the only "dislike" was the fact that the relationship with Grassroots.org ended and many of our newer chapters are now devoting time and energy to Facebook instead of an actual website. **Recommendations to others considering Doodlekit:** Although it's been a while since we were involved with Doodlekit, my check of the website leads me to believe that they are much the same as they were when our first chapters began to use it.
