Distill.cv Reviews & Product Details

Distill.cv: CV Formatting and Anonymisation Engine for Recruitment Agencies Distill.cv is a document processing platform built specifically for staffing and recruitment agencies. It automates two of the most time-consuming steps in the candidate submittal workflow: reformatting candidate CVs to agency brand standards, and anonymising CVs for blind or merit-based hiring processes. CV Formatting & Agency Branding Distill converts incoming candidate CVs, regardless of source format or quality, into clean, branded Word documents in under 30 seconds. Standardised fonts, margins, and layout are applied automatically, along with the agency's logo, header, and footer. The output is a polished, editable .docx that looks like it was formatted in-house, ready to forward directly to the client. Blind Hiring & PII Anonymisation For agencies operating under GDPR, the Equality Act 2010, or internal DEI mandates, Distill's anonymisation engine strips candidate-identifying information: names, photos, email addresses, phone numbers, and postcodes before a hiring manager reviews the document. This supports structured, bias-free shortlisting without any manual redaction. How It Works Distill integrates into existing workflows via three channels: forward a CV to a dedicated processing email address, upload via the web dashboard, or connect directly via REST API for ATS automation. No new software to install for the team. Key Features PDF to .docx conversion with layout normalisation White-label branding (logo, header, footer, fonts) PII redaction: names, contact details, photos, postcodes Bias removal: graduation years, university names, gender-coded language Volume processing: no per-seat pricing Zero-retention mode: files processed in RAM and deleted on delivery GDPR and UK GDPR compliant; DPA available on request ATS integration via REST API Serverless, isolated processing (AWS EU/UK infrastructure) AES-256 encryption at rest; TLS 1.2+ in transit Pricing Model Volume-based, not per-seat.
