DispatchLedger Reviews & Product Details

DispatchLedger is a revenue and document control center built specifically for independent freight dispatchers. Most transportation management systems (TMS) are designed for large fleets, brokers, or carriers with dozens of trucks — leaving solo and small-team dispatchers stuck paying for features they'll never use, or tracking loads manually across spreadsheets, texts, and email threads. DispatchLedger takes a different approach. It's built entirely around how independent dispatchers actually work: booking loads, managing carrier relationships, and making sure every rate confirmation and proof of delivery gets collected before payment is at risk. At the core of DispatchLedger is an 8-stage load pipeline that automatically updates as documentation comes in. Upload a signed rate confirmation, and the load moves forward. Upload a proof of delivery (POD), and the system flags it as ready to invoice. No more manually cross-checking which loads still need paperwork, or discovering a missing document weeks after a load has already delivered. Beyond load tracking, DispatchLedger gives dispatchers a real-time view of money at risk — broker payments outstanding, commissions pending, and invoices that haven't been sent yet — all in one dashboard, rather than scattered across separate tools or a mental checklist. The platform also helps dispatchers manage carrier relationships directly, keeping a record of which carriers are reliable, which lanes work well together, and building the kind of repeat business that turns one-off loads into long-term partnerships. DispatchLedger is free to start, with no credit card required. A Pro plan is available for dispatchers managing a growing carrier and load volume, offering expanded tracking and reporting features as the business scales. Whether you're a new independent dispatcher booking your first loads or an experienced one juggling a growing roster of carriers, DispatchLedger is designed to remove the administrative friction — rate confirmations, proof of delivery, commission tracking, and broker payment follow-up — so more time goes toward growing the business, not chasing paperwork.
