What do you like best about Directive?

Honestly, not much. There wasn’t anything about the engagement that stood out in a positive way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Directive?

They never made the effort to understand our business and consistently failed to deliver on core expectations. Communication and reporting were unreliable, and we were often the ones chasing updates and driving work forward. What problems is Directive solving and how is that benefiting you?

They never took the time to understand our business and operated with little to no initiative. We constantly had to push them to do the basics, which is the opposite of what we needed in a partner. They’re easily the least proactive team I’ve worked with, and the entire engagement has been frustrating and high-effort on our end, with very little value in return. "Run away - over promise, under deliver"

What do you like best about Directive?

I did like the TAM analysis they did - but realistically it just validated what we already knew. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Directive?

They use a formula - it's supposed to be proven but it disregarded all our previous success and a cookie-cutter basic implementation was put in it's place e.g. best [insert category] software. This isn't how the modern buyer buys and they disreagrded all our niche keywords that were performing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I joined my company, we already had an agreement with Directive for SEO services -- website analysis, keyword research and strategy, and content brief creation. I quickly discovered that Michael was one of the best SEO experts I've ever worked with (out of roughly 10).
