What do you like best about Design Pickle?

The speed of design and creation along with the chat back and forth with updates on each project, I really enjoy the simplicity of creating a new request will all the options they provide with examples. We use this every day to request our design needs. It also has a custom zap to import in Slack so we can easily share finished projects with everyone in the channel, we also use the zap that adds it to our Drive folder for everyone to access in one place. What do you dislike about Design Pickle?

The only thing I would change is being able to open requests back up after closing them just in case there were edits needed instead of having to duplicate the request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Design Pickle solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have the need to create various marketing pieces and it's not practical to hire a full-time graphic designer. Doing it in-house with less skilled staff does not create the quality we want. As opposed to working with in-house designers, you have to provide most of the strategy. DP designers will do whatever you ask but I haven't found them to be very good at helping with design strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main problem Design Pickle solves for us is the constant struggle to find reliable and consistent design support without breaking the bank. For a monthly fee, we get unlimited design requests, which is especially beneficial when we're busy, and it eliminates the need to juggle multiple freelancers or worry about hourly rates adding up quickly. I liked how easy it was to submit and track different requests. Also they offered a wide range of services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes I felt the design quality was lacking some basic principles. Weird spacing or choices at times. We were always able to end up with a great asset in the end, just took some back and forth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can be a great resource if used well. At the end of the day, we weren't taking advantage of the services enough to justify the high cost. We went back to using Canva Pro to save the money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
