Demostory has completed changed the game when it comes to doing demos!!! I recently did a demo that involved 4 different personas. My application does not allow multiple signons on the same browser, so prior to demostory, I would have had to use 4 different browsers or 4 different Google Chrome profiles. Extremely confusing to go back and forth. With everything that SEs need to worry about during a demo, toggling from browser to browser can be so overwhelming and really affect the flow and impact of the demo. I signed up for the demostory free trial and WOW! Everything worked smoothly for my demo. I have told all of my colleagues about this wonderful product. Want to take a moment to shout out to a great product my team has used for over a year: DemoStory

DemoStory has changed our demo flow for the better. It allows within ONE browser to show all 3 or more personas AND have any other websites open without timing out or having to log into each one breaking up the flow. Essentially you don’t have to create 5 different personas in Chrome and then open 5 different browsers to swipe between (If you have a mac, swipe if you have a PC, it’s a pause screen open the other window) they are all in one browser window and you can click on the tab to move from persona, website (for instance the recruiting site), and back to another persona. Having one browser to show all personas makes sharing infinitely easier on zoom, especially if you share a window rather than a whole screen. It also advances your demo flow where you can easily say the employee clicks to send the address change and then move to the admin and show it in the admin view, which, as we know, isn’t all that easy if you are swiping back and forth or opening new windows it is easier to explain the tabs. In addition, you can color code the tabs at the top so the audience can better follow the flow and save that configuration so you open up demostory and your saved tabs are all there making prep for a demo a snap!

It’s a subtle change that makes all the difference in a demo. It's the difference between a hurkey jerky demo versus a smooth flow with different personas. It also allows for changing up the demo flow, as usually, you take a prospect through one person and then move to another. You can show the full value of a solution through all users, then move to the next solution without confusing the prospect. Invaluable!

Demostory lets me setup demos that flow with the customer story. I can assign roles to tab groups and have multiple systems logged in simultaneously. Each tab can be named and color coded to make it clear to customers where we are in the demo. I even can have backup Invision demos just in case questions come up. As a Mac user I can set where I save each demostory configuration. PC users do not have this ability, and I am told it is related to the respective OS. No change in the functionality though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Live demos are quite stressful. No matter how much you prepare something always go wrong during the demo.

this browser built tool is a great way to show demos and really get to your audience to understand the direction you are taking the demo in. Hopefully it keeps being developed further to add more features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Color options are a little too limited. I mean, I do not want 256 colors but to keep groups of tabs for the same purpose together, I need variations in grey that is not too different yet differentiable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
