The demostory browser reduces the technical lift to setup demos, makes it easy for your audience to follow along, and allows you to save and share the entire demo. ## demostory Reviews ### 1. I recently did a demo that involved 4 different personas. My application does not allow multiple signons on the same browser, so prior to demostory, I would have had to use 4 different browsers or 4 different Google Chrome profiles. Extremely confusing to go back and forth. With everything that SEs need to worry about during a demo, toggling from browser to browser can be so overwhelming and really affect the flow and impact of the demo. I signed up for the demostory free trial and WOW! Everything worked smoothly for my demo. I have told all of my colleagues about this wonderful product. If you are not using demostory for your demos, you are missing out. Period. **What do you dislike about demostory?** I absolutely LOVE this product! Cannot think of anything negative to say. What a fantastic product. Of course, it had to be designed by SEs for SEs :) Only a fellow SE could understand the struggles of this job role. **What problems is demostory solving and how is that benefiting you?** I love that I can save my setup on my desktop so that I can just click and all the names on my tabs are saved for me. It allows within ONE browser to show all 3 or more personas AND have any other websites open without timing out or having to log into each one breaking up the flow. Essentially you don’t have to create 5 different personas in Chrome and then open 5 different browsers to swipe between (If you have a mac, swipe if you have a PC, it’s a pause screen open the other window) they are all in one browser window and you can click on the tab to move from persona, website (for instance the recruiting site), and back to another persona. Having one browser to show all personas makes sharing infinitely easier on zoom, especially if you share a window rather than a whole screen. It also advances your demo flow where you can easily say the employee clicks to send the address change and then move to the admin and show it in the admin view, which, as we know, isn’t all that easy if you are swiping back and forth or opening new windows it is easier to explain the tabs. In addition, you can color code the tabs at the top so the audience can better follow the flow and save that configuration so you open up demostory and your saved tabs are all there making prep for a demo a snap! It’s a subtle change that makes all the difference in a demo. It's the difference between a hurkey jerky demo versus a smooth flow with different personas. It also allows for changing up the demo flow, as usually, you take a prospect through one person and then move to another. You can show the full value of a solution through all users, then move to the next solution without confusing the prospect. Easier set up for SCs - not having to open 5 browsers with 5 different profiles. This makes the demo much easier to follow for the audience. ### 3. I can assign roles to tab groups and have multiple systems logged in simultaneously. Each tab can be named and color coded to make it clear to customers where we are in the demo. I even can have backup Invision demos just in case questions come up. Customers have commented on how much easier my demos are to follow. **What do you dislike about demostory?** As a Mac user I can set where I save each demostory configuration. PC users do not have this ability, and I am told it is related to the respective OS. No change in the functionality though. **What problems is demostory solving and how is that benefiting you?** My demos are easy to setup and setups are reusable. It also allows me to stay logged in to all the needed systems used in the demo. Demo flow is MUCH clearer to customers ### 4. No matter how much you prepare something always go wrong during the demo. Demostory has done amazing job to make demo preparation easier and chances of something going wrong during live sessions are close to nothing. **What do you dislike about demostory?** At this moment I can not thing of anything wrong or I dislike about demostory. I'm just loving it!!! **What problems is demostory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Demostory had helped to get over the anxiety of something going wrong during live demos. ### 5. That too, giving demo online is too much stress and can get challenging to showcase your product and the reception by the customer. The complicated tasks are so easily managed using the Demostory extension. **What do you dislike about demostory?** The only disadvantage is that it is still virtual. But, thats not the problem of the tool. So far, not many challenges have been faced which may be counted as disadvantage. So far so good. **What problems is demostory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being part of a product-based company, giving demos to the customers is like an everyday job. Sometimes physical meeting with the customer is not possible, and the entire demo needs to be arranged online. Hence demostory is of great help. ### 6. Hopefully it keeps being developed further to add more features **What do you dislike about demostory?** Color options are a little too limited. I mean, I do not want 256 colors but to keep groups of tabs for the same purpose together, I need variations in grey that is not too different yet differentiable **What problems is demostory solving and how is that benefiting you?** The browsing experience is boosted. The save and launch option for demos is perfect for the internet breakages I keep facing with my carrier. I like the fact that it is chrome based. ### 11.
