This is actually not a negative comment. I commend Deel for doing this for security purposes. However, it can be a hassle that every time you log in, you have to enter a one-time password that’s sent to your email, which is inconvenient sometimes. I find Deel IT easy to use. I like the friendly support, and sending money is fast with very good rates. It’s easy to get payments from my employer and move money between applications or to other places, whether I’m in or outside the US. The portal is straightforward: sending money takes just a few clicks, and it becomes available on the other side quickly. I like that I can connect my bank account and have transfers happen immediately, without manually transferring anything. I can set withdrawals to happen right away and don’t have to do anything on my end. I also like how easy it is to track my time, add detailed notes, and keep everything organized with dates that I can edit. That helps me clearly communicate what I worked on and how I used my time, including when I have multiple contracts with different companies, all in one website. I can also access my invoices and contracts in one organized place whenever I need them. I use Deel IT to receive payments from the company where I work as a freelancer and from foreign clients, and it greatly facilitates international transfers. In my country, transfers are usually complex and have the risk of bouncing, but Deel IT ensures that I receive my money without issues and automatically converts it to quetzales, which spares me the worry of exchange losses. Definitely the waiting time to receive the money. I feel it takes too long, today is Thursday, if I create the withdrawal request I have to wait 4 days for it to arrive on Monday. I understand that waiting is necessary due to international transfers, but I hope it's something that can be improved over time. Also, in the initial setup, the facial detection when taking the photo didn't detect me and I had to do it manually, which meant I had to take the photo several times because my hand was shaking a lot. I like that Deel IT is an all-in-one solution where I can view my paychecks, pay stubs, pay statements, and PDF documents, and set up direct deposit.
