I really like the system it uses to help you set up tests for interrater reliability in big or small projects and involve little to huge amounts of data. You can set it up in a way that you get a randomized sample of your data and have everyone in your team try to use the same codes to code the same data and then the system itself compares how closely you are calibrated to your teammates. I feel like, more often than not, you get some very slow system to work with. It is as if the software itself is slow and 'heavy'. I have lost some progress because of not having a save button and you can only rely on the system to auto save Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have had a lot of trouble with customer service. It took them over a month to generate an invoice. Then it was wrong. They do not answer the phone so you can not talk to a live person. I do not like how the home page of dedoose is actually quite hard to navigate when you first start using it. There are a lot of components, features, and things going on with the home page dashboard. And there are multiple tabs as well. Two points:

1.Needs flash upgrade to login to the page.

2.Multiple file upload at a time(import) takes a lot of time. However, sequential import(one-by-one) is takes very less time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am using dedoose for a research project that involved coding focus group transcripts. My favorite thing about it is that it allows you to see what codes other have already suggested, and this is great because it makes the process a lot more efficient and allows us to build on each others work.
