"it is the best for dedicated residential static proxies."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

it offers all types of high quality proxies that any professional might need, and everything is organized by proxy type with a detailed information about each type.

you can specify the country, state, city and this is the golden feature for me, and for rotating proxies you can set rotating duration.

i bought a static residential dedicated ISP, and i immediately checked the IPs (i got 3 IPs for 9.99$), and the results was perfect, 0 on fraud indicators, no proxy detected, it is fast, reliable and dedicated, you are not sharing IPs with any other users, completely yours, and so far i haven't encountered any problems.

in the beginning i had to contact support because i initially chose the wrong type of proxy and received an immediate response, i explained what happened with me, and it took them about 5 minutes to check my account, then they refunded my wallet, and guided me to buy the correct proxy type i needed, they offer 14 days money back. and they accept paying with crypto Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top class Residential IPs with easy to use dashboard"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The reliability of their residential IP pool is the standout feature for me. It’s rare to find a service that offers both a 3-day trial and a 14-day money-back guarantee, giving you plenty of room to test the product in a real-world environment. I also really value the efficiency of their support team; I had a specific technical question during my trial, and their chat support answered it almost immediately. For a developer, having an API that is easy to plug into Python scripts without complex workarounds is a massive plus.

How easy is to switch to restricted pool based on Geography is another huge win for me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

There isn't much to complain about regarding performance, but the pricing structure for residential data can get expensive if you're running high-volume scrapes, as it’s based on traffic usage. I also think the dashboard could be a bit more streamlined for users who only need to manage a single project, as the interface is clearly built to handle enterprise-scale needs. However, these are minor trade-offs for the stability the service provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What I like most is how easy it is to get started and keep things running reliably. The dashboard is clean, the documentation is straightforward, and the proxy performance has been stable for my use cases. I also appreciate the variety of proxy options and locations, plus the flexible configuration (sessions/rotation) that makes it simple to match different workflows. Support has been responsive when I needed clarification, and overall it feels like a service designed for practical day-to-day use, not just for “power users.” Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The main downside is that pricing can feel a bit high once you scale up usage, especially if you’re doing heavy traffic or multiple projects at once. Occasionally, I also need to test a few endpoints/locations to find the best performance for a specific target site, since speeds and success rates can vary depending on the destination. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it would be nice to have more built-in insights (like clearer success-rate analytics per target/location) to reduce trial and error. "Clean Dashboard, Reliable Residential Proxies, and Solid Support. Finally, a proxy provider."
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Here it is — you can copy and paste it directly:

UI / UX

Honestly didn't expect the dashboard to be this clean. I've tried a few other proxy providers before and their UIs were a mess. With Decodo, setting up residential proxies, picking locations, and managing sessions all just... makes sense. No unnecessary clicks.

Integrations

I use it mainly with Python-based scrapers and it plugged right in. The docs are actually readable, which is rarer than it should be. Got my first rotating residential setup running in one sitting.

Performance

For web scraping, reliability is everything — and Decodo delivers. Block rates dropped significantly compared to what I was dealing with before. Response times are consistent and I haven't had any surprise downtime that killed a running job.

Pricing / ROI

The GB-based pricing works well for the kind of scraping I do. It's not the cheapest option out there but the success rate makes up for it — you end up wasting less data on failed requests, so it balances out.

Support / Onboarding

Had one issue with session persistence early on and reached out to support. Got a real answer from someone who clearly understood the technical side. That's not always the case with infra tools.

AI / Intelligence

The automatic rotation and retry logic handles a lot of edge cases I used to deal with manually. Nothing flashy, just solid engineering that works quietly in the background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The pricing page could be a bit more transparent — took me a while to figure out which plan actually made sense for my use case. A simple usage calculator upfront would save some back and forth. Also, the dashboard is good but could use a bit more granular traffic analytics. Nothing that's been a dealbreaker, just areas where there's room to grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I mainly use Decodo ISP proxies, and what I like most is their stability and consistent performance. The IPs are reliable and work well for my scraping and automation tasks without frequent failures. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

It’s a decent service overall. ISP proxies are stable and work well for my needs, but pricing could be more competitive and initial setup took some time to figure out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Support and User-Friendly Interface"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What immediately struck to me was reachability to the staff whenever you've questions. You'll instantly found someone to assist you even during off hours. It help me immediately decide based on my urgent project needs and demands. The simple UI/UX interface is easy to navigate, and usage stats keeps you on loop.

I used the Residential Proxy service, and from my experience playing around some regions (especially for Russia) it's quite stable, of course, with some minor inconsistencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

- The city level targets could always be increased more, for more granularity

- Also, there could be a filter options for city level proxies

- For some reason, the bandwidth seems to be highly drained if you're using browser mode. Though the dashboard tells you what draws your most bytes, if there is some proxy config to control some APIs beyond browser config, that would be great.

- I would love to see more consistencies for search engines such as Yandex Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The IP rotation options and the stability of connections. I run high-volume operations and haven't experienced any significant issues. Pricing is also competitive for what you get. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Reliable Proxies with an Easy Setup and Fair Pricing"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Decodo’s proxies are fast and reliable, with a high success rate and minimal downtime. Setup was simple, the dashboard is easy to navigate, and pricing feels fair. Support has been quick and helpful too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Honestly not much. The pricing on higher tiers can add up if you scale heavily, and the documentation could be a bit more detailed in places. Nothing that’s been a real problem though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
