"Fast, High-Quality IPs with Responsive Live Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I mainly use Decodo for accessing AI tools and AI-related software, watching TikTok, and checking social media and news for my cross-border e-commerce work. The most helpful parts are the quality of the IPs, the availability of AT&T network options, and the fast connection speed. I also appreciate the live customer support. The support agents I have contacted were responsive and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The main downside for me is that I cannot always choose both the city and the carrier network at the same time. For example, it would be ideal if I could select Los Angeles together with an AT&T network option. More flexible filtering by city plus carrier would make the product even better for my use case. "Good value ISP proxies, performance improves after testing"
4/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What I like most is the balance between price and performance. Compared with other ISP proxy providers, Decodo offers competitive pricing while still delivering good-quality IPs. Once you find stable IPs, the performance is consistently solid, with good speeds and relatively low block rates. I also appreciate how easy the platform is to use, and how straightforward it is to manage proxies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

One drawback is that not all IPs perform equally well right from the start, so it takes some time to test them and figure out which ones work best. This initial filtering can be a bit time-consuming, especially if you need consistent performance immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple ISP proxy setup with mostly reliable performance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I like that Decodo's dedicated ISP proxies are easy to set up and manage from the dashboard. The service is simple to use, the traffic is unlimited on my plan, and the connection has been stable enough for my daily browsing and account access needs. I also had a case where my previous IPs worked better for my setup, and the support team helped restore them after I contacted them, which was useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The main downside is that the connection can sometimes be unstable, with occasional timeouts. Some IPs also seem to perform better than others depending on the location; for example, my current Hong Kong IP does not feel as good as the others. The price is also slightly high for only a few dedicated ISP IPs. Clearer service status updates and more consistent IP quality would improve the experience. "Decodo delivers excellent proxies with great UX/CX and easy geo-targeting"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

We crawl millions of sites every day and proxies are alpha omega for the toughest sites (that and JS rendering/Chromium). I love Decodo's great UX and the high quality proxies. It's super easy to get started. I also really appreciate the ease of picking e.g. specific country IPs in requests, such as German/French/Italian/etc IPs for EU requests, US IPs for requests to US sites. What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I wouldn’t mind seeing lower prices, but overall I think they’re reasonable given the quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stable, Consistent Connections with an Easy-to-Use Dashboard"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What I liked most was how stable and consistent the connections were. For academic digital market research projects, it helped maintain consistent access when observing publicly available online data across different regions. the setup was straightforward and the dashboard is easy to navigate, so it didn't take long to get everything running Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

One thing I noticed is that the pricing could be slightly lower, especially for students or smaller academic projects. Also it would be helpful if there were a few more detailed guides or examples in the documentation for different research scenarios. That said, the overall reliability and performance have been solid, so it hasn't been a major issue for me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, High-Quality Proxy IPs, but Pricing Need Work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The best thing about Decodo is the quality of its proxy IPs. Before switching, I was using ProxyCheap, but the issue with their proxies was that I constantly ran into CAPTCHA challenges and issues with websites protected by Cloudflare. I then checked the IP reputation and found that the proxy IP I was provided had a very high spam and fraud score (I think it was 68). I then searched on X for a better proxy provider for my use case and saw people suggesting Decodo. So I bought the cheapest package, which was $10 for 3 proxies (even though I only wanted one). I checked the spam and fraud score and it was much better at just 13. So yeah, it does help if you want a clean IP for websites or account creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

1. I hate that you have to buy 3 IPs instead of 1. I only needed 1 proxy, but I had to buy 3 as their lowest package has a minimum of 3.

2. Sometimes the speed is horrible, so uploading longer videos becomes a pain.

3. The support is alright, but it can be improved, especially the live chat.

4. The UI is alright, but the proxy details section on the dashboard is slightly confusing. It can be improved to be clearer and more understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless, Fast, and Reliable—Decodo Fits Perfectly Into Our Pipeline"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

It works very well. I tired different options and Decodo was the only one that worked so seemless and fast. As you communicate mostly trough terminal the UX/UI is fine. You get all of the commands you need and it integrates with your pipeline very good. The cost of service is a bit pricey but it never let me down. You can fine tune everything so it is fine. I had contact with support once and it was helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

It is a bit pricey, so if you are rolling constantly it can be overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Static Residential Proxies with Responsive Support at an Affordable Price"
4/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

I like that it works for my use case. Many other proxy providers do not provide working or legit static residential proxies. It allowed me to have multiple social media accounts using an anti-detect browser. The price per proxies are also relatively affordable. I also like that the support is very responsive. And when I needed to change some of the proxies' geo, they did it for me for free. The AI support is also pretty useful for when I don't want to talk to a real human, just need quick answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The way the billing works. A couple of times, when I needed to change my plan, they charged me for a new month instead of prorate. That means I had to pay more on top of what I already paid for. Another pricing issue that was confusing to me at the start: I didn't know I couldn't buy multiple batches, they had to be stackable. For example I bought the 3-proxy package and I thought I could just buy another 3-proxy package but it didn't work like that. Found out only after I paid. And their Singapore proxies are not legit static residential. To be fair, no proxy providers are able to provide real residential proxies for Singapore. They should just remove that. "Reliable Proxy Service with Excellent Performance"
5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

Decodo provides reliable proxies with good performance and uptime. I use it for web data collection, and the residential proxy network has been stable and effective. The platform is easy to manage, and I appreciate the detailed documentation and responsive support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

While the platform is generally easy to use, some advanced features have a learning curve for new users. More tutorials and examples for specific use cases would make onboarding even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Proxy Service with Easy Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

What I like best about Decodo is how easy it is to manage and set up. The dashboard is straightforward, the integrations work smoothly with my existing tools, and the service has been reliable for my day-to-day use. Overall, it saves time and makes proxy management much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Decodo (formerly Smartproxy)?

The main downside for me is the pricing. While the service works well, I think the plans could be more flexible and affordable, especially for individual users or smaller projects. Offering additional pricing tiers or more customizable plans would make it even more appealing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
