We use this tool instead of the standart oracle sqldeveloper, because its more intuitive and a lot easier to use. What i like the best is that dbforge studio has a really friendly User Interface , you have to know what you are doing but for a new tool is really fast to learn how to use it. I did not like the fact that has a lor of inconsitencis when i try to run it over linux , using WINE is getting a lot of errors and finally lost the batle against windows , that minmun to work is Windows seven , and is not so much better either , the best i got working was windows 10 . Recommendations to others considering dbForge Studio for Oracle: Use it on windows , linux is not working properly , even wit the most windows like distros keep crashing , so do not make the mistake and use it on windows 10 , windows 7 is note at his best performance. Dbforge is an all in one sql management tool for dba's which can help easily build sqls and a good way to synchronize data/schema between schemas for test or upgrade projects.
