The autocomplete function allows you to write sql and pl/sql code quickly. Furthermore, it is very easy to create and maintain tables and views with the help of the ER graphical interface. One of the best IDE for Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development. Easy DB connection management, query auto completion, extracting the output in various formats like, csv, excel or SQL. dbForge provides convenient GUI to manage database objects like tables, views, procedures, functions etc. For DBAs, it provides features like session monitoring, and data export/Import. dbForge is an excellent tool to bind our SQL statements with the help of bind variable executions. It gives us multiple operations that explicitly merges our bitmaps obtained from our indices scanning. Its cache recovery is beneficial for our database instance recovery. All our committed and non-committed changes are updated in our logs which can be retrieved for further analysis. Improve connection manager. Visually confusions can be generated due to the location of some of the options, mainly when you configure the TNS.

It would be very useful if in all the screens you can see the number of lines or total registers of the program; sometimes this number can be seen in a tab, where the table definition is, but it is not always visible.

As a MSSQL developer, I have become accustomed to how SMS works. I have used dbForge for MySQL for years which mimics that UI. When I was tasked with developing an Oracle project, there is nowhere else I would turn to! This UI made it extremely easy to transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am not cure if this is dbForge issue or Oracle because of my limited knowledge of Oracle, but When I try to stop an executing stored procedure, it take a long time and I end up having to kill the session. As the cloud becomes more popular, I would also like to see options that support cloud databases.
