What I like best about Dayshape is its intuitive design and how easy it is to adjust assignments, timing, and scheduling. The Gantt‑style schedule view, paired with the ability to seamlessly toggle between people and projects, makes it simple to see the big picture and reduces the need for separate reporting. The platform feels modern, and we’ve seen meaningful improvements over the last few years. Integration with STAR works smoothly, and overall ease of use is high. The main challenges we experience with Dayshape relate to managing high volumes of smaller, granular projects. While the tool works well for larger engagements, it becomes harder to navigate when handling many smaller assignments.

Reporting can also feel complex—limited filtering options and the need to combine multiple reports make it difficult to quickly get to the information we need, and dashboards still require further development. In the Gantt views, broader filtering capabilities and the ability to select multiple staff or projects at once would significantly improve usability. I like Dayshape because it gives a good overview of all resources in our company and offers the possibility to filter on business units. For dayshape, real-time visibility is flawless. I can, at any given time, see the workloads of everyone and whenever I want I can also schedule the team’s activities which makes everything easy. I didn't find reports customizing facets as easy enough as I wanted. Below project statistics or display of contribution of individuals may be too tedious. Dayshape is very user friendly and intuitive. Since implementing I have cut back on the amount of reports I need to run because our users, including management, are in the tool and running the reports they need for themselves. As a Resource Manager, it's intuitive and has saved me and my team huge amounts of time. It has a vast array of useful features that are immensely beneficial. To name but a few : it's great for economics analysis, forward planning, availability / clash reporting, AI helps with resourcing decisions. The integrated nature of resource management, profitability and workflows. Allowing you to manage profitability on the go, real time.
