The Gantt‑style schedule view, paired with the ability to seamlessly toggle between people and projects, makes it simple to see the big picture and reduces the need for separate reporting. The platform feels modern, and we’ve seen meaningful improvements over the last few years. Integration with STAR works smoothly, and overall ease of use is high. We also truly value Dayshape’s customer support, which has consistently been responsive and helpful. **What do you dislike about Dayshape?** The main challenges we experience with Dayshape relate to managing high volumes of smaller, granular projects. While the tool works well for larger engagements, it becomes harder to navigate when handling many smaller assignments. Reporting can also feel complex—limited filtering options and the need to combine multiple reports make it difficult to quickly get to the information we need, and dashboards still require further development. In the Gantt views, broader filtering capabilities and the ability to select multiple staff or projects at once would significantly improve usability. We also see opportunities to streamline how resource traits are added when building schedules from scratch. **What problems is Dayshape solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dayshape brings all schedules, projects, and practitioner information together in a single, unified view, which significantly improves our ability to make timely and informed staffing decisions. The Gantt views streamline scheduling and save time by making workload and project timelines easier to interpret at a glance. Real‑time updates—such as suggestions from staff—help keep plans current, even as work evolves. For A&A in particular, the economics features have strong potential, enabling us to see financial impacts and model different scheduling scenarios, which elevates the quality of our resource discussions. ### 2. The management of existing tasks on the Gantt is something I find valuable. Plus, the initial setup was very easy for me and my team. **What do you dislike about Dayshape?** I find collaboration with other managers in Dayshape and its integration with Outlook to be lacking. Also, mail notifications could be improved by including links. **What problems is Dayshape solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Dayshape to see when resources are available and to find the most suitable resource for assignments. It provides a good overview of all resources in our company with the ability to filter by business units. ### 3. I can, at any given time, see the workloads of everyone and whenever I want I can also schedule the team’s activities which makes everything easy. I never get bothered to search again who's free or schedule two people accidentally. **What do you dislike about Dayshape?** I didn't find reports customizing facets as easy enough as I wanted. Below project statistics or display of contribution of individuals may be too tedious. Many days I export the data and make calculations based on this spreadsheets to obtain needed insights. **What problems is Dayshape solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dayshape removed all the scheduling hassles and ensured everyone was aligned. There is no need for me to think about the same thing over and over again, instead, I can be engaged in the planning part, which used to be a waste of time. ### 4. Since implementing I have cut back on the amount of reports I need to run because our users, including management, are in the tool and running the reports they need for themselves. It makes it possible to match a resource to a project solely based on looking at skillsets and helps to eliminate resource hoarding. **What do you dislike about Dayshape?** The dashboard page isn't very customizeable. I'd like to be able to have better dashboards avaialble for partners and managers to get the data they need specific to their own engagements. **What problems is Dayshape solving and how is that benefiting you?** First and foremost, reporting. Getting good data is crucial. Having a system that integrates with our time and billing to get good economic data is a win. Dayshape has also been integral moving away from using spreadsheets for resourcing. Having a system that includes skills and matching resourcing to projects is a benefit as well. ### 5. It has a vast array of useful features that are immensely beneficial. To name but a few : it's great for economics analysis, forward planning, availability / clash reporting, AI helps with resourcing decisions. The Dayshape team offer superb post-implemenation support and listen when we make suggestions to the system. **What do you dislike about Dayshape?** The reporting suite is great, but I'd like it to be able to do more (I always want more from reports!) **What problems is Dayshape solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's helping us identify who has availability and utilise them better It's helping us plan better and therefore make better headcount forecasting decisions It's helping us make better economic decisions on our clients It's enabling us to integrate our systems to get better MI ### 6. Also integrates easily with HR and Finance systems. **What do you dislike about Dayshape?** Currently no option to have a 'light' version for those teams which are just starting their resourcing journey and not yet in a position to leverage all of the features it offers. **What problems is Dayshape solving and how is that benefiting you?** Visibility of availability and utilisation, insight into planned vs actual hours, skills included in resourcing decisions, moving teams using excel spreadsheets and other 'off system' solutions to one tool which can achieve the outcomes they need without doublekeying information as a result of the integrations in place. ### 7. Since we have implemented Dayshape we have much greater visibility of our business - it has transformed our operational landscape. **What do you dislike about Dayshape?** Can improve on customizability. Would like employees to maintain and update their own skills. **What problems is Dayshape solving and how is that benefiting you?** Visibility of free capacity, constraints and overall resource management across the 11 countries in which we operate. Dayshape's pricing components enable pracititioners to have an up-to-date view of how profitable their engagements are, while being able to respond dynamically to resources contraints. It is a level of control that is powerful. Lastly, the customer support is fantastic. **What do you dislike about Dayshape?** We would like more customisability. This work is in the pipeline as Dayshape responds well to customer needs. **What problems is Dayshape solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dayshape solves the diconnect between the cost of resources and the profitability of engagements. They also solve the concern we had around resource visibility. We have a large staff pool that was hiding in aggregation before Dayshape. ### 9.
