## dataimporter Reviews
  ### 1. Simplifies Reporting with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunny L. | Marketing Specialist II, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about dataimporter?**

I like how you can use Dropbox instead of SFTP with dataimporter, as it saves a lot of time. It simplifies the report-making process because if it were through SFTP, we would have to fill out a bunch of stuff. Also, dataimporter easily connected to Salesforce without any issues.

**What do you dislike about dataimporter?**

I don't like that I can't create groups of reports, and everything is just in one list.

**What problems is dataimporter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use dataimporter to export reports and share Salesforce data without additional costs. Using Dropbox instead of SFTP saves time and simplifies the report-making process.

  ### 2. Efficient Data Integration with Pros and Cons

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham K. | SAP Technical Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about dataimporter?**

User-friendly Interface: DataImporter offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy for us to operate the platform. The drag-and-drop functionality simplifies the mapping process, enabling efficient data transformation and integration.

Broad Integration Support: This platform supports a wide range of data sources, including cloud storage platforms (such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot), and more. With such extensive integration capabilities, DataImporter allows us to connect and import data from diverse sources effortlessly.

Automated Scheduling: DataImporter offers robust scheduling capabilities, allowing you to automate data imports at specific intervals or trigger them based on events. This feature saves time and effort by eliminating the need for manual intervention and ensures that your data is always up-to-date.

Data Transformation and Mapping: The platform provides advanced data transformation and mapping tools, enabling us to manipulate and cleanse data during the import process. I can easily apply filters, perform calculations, and reformat data to match your target system's requirements, ensuring accurate and consistent data integration.

Robust Error Handling: DataImporter incorporates effective error handling mechanisms, providing detailed error logs and notifications. This helps identify and resolve any data import issues promptly, minimizing the risk of data inconsistencies or errors in your systems.

**What do you dislike about dataimporter?**

Learning Curve for Complex Integrations: While DataImporter offers a user-friendly interface, more complex integrations may require a learning curve, especially for users without a technical background. The extensive range of features and customization options may be overwhelming initially, requiring some time and effort to master.

Limited Data Transformation Functions: Although DataImporter provides basic data transformation capabilities, some users may find the options limited for complex data manipulation requirements. Advanced data transformations may require additional scripting or external tools, which could add complexity to the integration process.

Pricing Structure: It operates on a subscription-based pricing model, which may be a drawback for small businesses or startups with limited budgets. While the platform offers a free trial, the cost of a subscription can increase based on the number of data sources and the frequency of data imports.

**What problems is dataimporter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DataImporter solves the problems associated with manual data integration, disparate data sources, data quality, and timeliness. By providing a streamlined and automated solution, businesses can benefit from improved data integrity, increased productivity, and better decision-making based on accurate and up-to-date information.

  ### 3. Seamless Data Handling Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chinmay B. | Equity Research Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2023

**What do you like best about dataimporter?**

I used DataImporter, and the ease of use impressed me the most. The interface is very well designed. It is very easy to navigate through the software and perform necessary tasks.
2. The best feature of DataImporter is that it supports a wide range of data formats, including CSV, Excel, JSON, and XML.

**What do you dislike about dataimporter?**

1. Although the software is very user-friendly, importing complex data became quite challenging. More precise instructions and tooltips within the user interface can be more helpful.
2. While importing data, the software does not provide detailed error messages, making it more challenging to identify and troubleshoot problems effectively.

**What problems is dataimporter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Instead of manually transferring data, DataImporter automates the entire process and helps in saving a lot of time and effort.
2. Software supports a wide range of data formats which helps in manual conversion or data restructuring, enabling seamless integrating of data in system.

  ### 4. This Makes Importing fun again!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ismael R. | Salesforce Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2023

**What do you like best about dataimporter?**

I really appreciate Data Importer because it has a user-friendly interface compared to other competitors, which made it easy for me to use and integrate with Salesforce. The ability to Rollback imports, schedule imports, clone jobs, and even test data imports has saved me a lot of time in my workflow. The support that comes with Data Importer has been top-notch, especially with Sam, who is willing to listen to me and help me troubleshoot any issues with his diverse Salesforce experience. As a result, I've seen a solid and versatile system integrated into my work, a 50% time-saving, and improved data quality. These features will continue to grow with me as I continue to grow in my role.

**What do you dislike about dataimporter?**

It would be great if Data Importer had a native app within the Salesforce environment, as it would save a step in the process. Nevertheless, Data Importer is a fantastic product overall.

**What problems is dataimporter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dataimporter solved a few headaches for us. Before we started using it, we had trouble with importing patient lead lists and enrolled confirmations from our health plan partners and networks into Salesforce. It was a manual process that was prone to errors and took up a lot of time. But with Dataimporter, we can now import this information and automate the process, making our jobs a whole lot easier. The integration with Salesforce and the ability to schedule imports has been a lifesaver for us. And if we ever make a mistake, the ability to Rollback imports is just the cherry on top!

  ### 5. A seamless functionality for data syncing and managing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaibhav B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about dataimporter?**

One of the best and great tools for secured file transferring protocol. With the help of the connectors of this platform, you can create and schedule data importing.
The software supports syncing data from multiple data sources and platforms; one of the great features is that it automatically detects any fraud or errors from the dataset imported.
The data is easily accessible from this tool anytime and from anywhere. The software and the tools available in this software are worth of price.

**What do you dislike about dataimporter?**

The migration procedure for multiple datasets is a bit time-consuming and even makes the system slower than usual.
The UI of this software needs more improvement, and the arrangement of tools is so confusing it should be made more accessible to view and handle according to users' convenience.

**What problems is dataimporter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this software to migrate mass data from server to server with fewer human errors. It has been the best way to route your datasets most robustly. Its most benefitting tool is to schedule the import or syncing of data sets.

Its multiple advanced features are beneficial in the intelligent and easy workflow.

**What do you like best about dataimporter?**

Easy to use UI, clean and intuitive field mapper, dedupe check and formula based formatting options are the best features in dataimporter

**What do you dislike about dataimporter?**

More options could be provided when duplicate row is detected. There should be options to make changes to a row and insert when a duplicate is detected in same uploaded file. Only discard option is provided currently for dedupe check.
Update logic and new record detection logic should be more clearly described somewhere in UI. Its difficult to understand for first users.
