Dataddo is easy to set up, straight forward and doesn't require reading lots of documentations to create a flow. Main features why we choose this tool: - Being able to choose data residency - Security - Cost - Being able to choose specific columns from table and limit by date (snapshotting works via SQL) - Reliable Now it's been four months of using the tool and it is reliable, doesn't need maintanence, everything running smoothly, data is matching. I see that the tool is developing, I liked the recent changes in the interface, when team added additional info. Also I liked the customer service, our account manager was supportive on all stages. Even for specific technical questions he set up a meeting with their technical architect. **What do you dislike about Dataddo?** At first, I asked about features such as conditional stream running—specifically, the ability to stop other tables from running if one table fails—and the ability to pass arguments to the snapshot SQL. It would make easier to troubleshoot and fix if something fails. It's a better deal than many competitors on its face, but they went above and beyond to offer a significant non-profit discount. It made it possible for me to get approved, and it's been a game changer. They've been really helpful with resolving my issues and doing a bit of custom work. **What do you dislike about Dataddo?** Doing complex table joins is not possible as a user. But sometimes, it would be greatly helpful to join many tables, because particular sites segment their tables into many disperate pieces. The system can also be unintuitive to navigate. Changing connections after the fact is complicated, despite ease of use during initial set ups. Most of my connections, I have to go back and edit them after the fact. Would like a more flexible pricing plan where data set quantities can be increased s.t. lower cost per data set results and where I can assign data sets at will to different clients. Spent many hours evaluating multiple ETL tools and Dataddo tools was only one that met all my requirements. Other tools allowed export of QBO data to CSV but that then required additional steps to move the CSV data into SQL tables. Other tools supported direct transfer of QBO data to SQL tables but inserted JSON formated data into SQL columns which then required additional conversion steps to get native data formats. ### 12. For example, I am limited by how many dimensions I can import through GA4. This may be something on GA4's side, but if not, it would be helpful to have this limitation removed. More in-depth descriptions of what each variable does (in the import process) could be helpful. I've had to test this by creating multiple sources, manually importing historical data, checking what each variable refers to, and then choosing which to keep or remove. Support was helpful when needed. **What do you dislike about Dataddo?** When there are issues with the platform, it's a little cumbersome to troubleshoot the error (sometimes the error is unidentifiable without talking through it with support). Errors can be frequent depending on the source and destination (we mainly utilized it to pull data from sources into Google Sheets and a reporting API). I'm sure this will vary depending on what you're trying to connect in the platform, but it was still frustrating when it occurred. **What problems is Dataddo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dataddo efficiently pulls data from disparate sources and pushes them to our reporting platform with minimal effort at a cost-effective price. It's so easy to use, with a simple interface. Plus, it can connect with all kinds of data sources like Facebook, Google Drive, AWS, MySQL databases and all kinds of other stuff, so you can have all your data in one place. The best part about DataDDO is how it can transform your data with just a few clicks. You can clean it up, make it look pretty, and turn it into charts and graphs that make your boss go "Wow, that's impressive!" Plus, it's super handy for sharing your insights with other people, so you can be a total data superhero at work. There's a great variety of different connectors and, it's easy to add new/more fields, in case they exist in the original's tool documentation. I would, and I have already, recommended Dataddo to some colleagues working in similar role to mine. **What do you dislike about Dataddo?** Minor UX/interface things could improve user's life, it has some interface minor issues, but nothing that stands in the way of using the tool itself. For example, whenever you search for a specific source, and edit it or one of them, the page refreshes and you have to type the search again; that is particularly annoying when you need to edit multiple sources of the same type at the same type. Other than that, there are not bigger UX/ use problems that affect the use of the tool itself. **What problems is Dataddo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dataddo is helping us solve issues with Data Availability and Data Extraction; with Dataddo we're able to extract, transform and load our main social media info, for instance, into Power BI, but it's not limited to only Power BI. We can literally take whatever data we need and place it where we need it best. ### 31. Compared to competitors like Fivetran and Supermetrics, there's a large amount of customization possible; basically allowing you to do whatever you want. For the Dutch market, they are uniquely offering AFAS and Exact connectors which made the transition to taking ownership of our data a lot easier for my company. The level of customer service is exemplar; they value feedback and go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience. For the flaws that Dataddo has, their customer service tries to find a solution for everything. **What do you dislike about Dataddo?** As much as I like the level of customization, it also means you need to have a good understanding of the fundamentals of working with data. Dataddo allows you to union and join your data freely, as well as dynamically enabling you to (re)run whatever data ingestions you want. However, you will need to know what you're doing if you don't want to mess things up. This makes Dataddo more complex to understand if you have a true no code background. Historical ingestions of data proved to be a hassle; there's not much automation possible and you have to work around API limits yourself. Very carefully. I've spend a lot of time on the backfills of all my data sources and if you compare this to competitors, you'll have an easier experience elsewhere. On the flip side, I was aware of this beforehand and I felt the investment of time was worth it on the long term if you take Dataddos pricing into account. **What problems is Dataddo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dataddo allows us to take full ownership over our data in the fastest way possible. It took away the need to hire a data engineer right off the bat; you can get data flowing with a couple of clicks. This saves both money and time. ### 33.
