User-Friendly interface with proper documentation for helping at each step. The onboarding experience was quite straightforward. I’m saving time and energy which I earlier spent on manually fetching, cleaning, and loading data. Integration from various sources into the data warehouse (I use Amazon Redshift hosted on our VPN) was simple and DataChannel’s data pipelines are easy to set up and work seamlessly once they are scheduled. In case of a rare error, the support team is quick to fix them and proactively notifies you of possible inconsistencies that might have occurred while fetching data. It’s a good investment overall as I can add any number of sources and users without any limitation within the same plan. **What do you dislike about DataChannel?** Mostly nothing as the product does what it says it would. We started using DataChannel and quickly integrated data from sources like Amazon, Shopify, etc. We got a custom-built integration for Chargebee and their support team has helped us to a great extent. Along with that, reporting is pretty amazing within the platform, and we can run advanced transformations as per our needs. Now, Eleven different sources are being automatically aggregated & delivered into our AWS Redshift warehouse, at a granularity and frequency of our choosing without us ever writing a single piece of code whatsoever. With DataChannel, our team is now free to solely focus on strategizing campaigns, optimizing ROAS, measuring real-time KPIs, etc., instead of worrying about manual data pulls and data manipulation. **What do you dislike about DataChannel?** To be honest, nothing comes to my mind right now, unlike many others, this product for once actually does what it claims. The interface is rich & inclusive and might take some adjusting to, however, once you are past that, it’s smooth sailing. That’s to be expected with any new tool, but it’s worth the time to train on it to unlock the power it provides. **Recommendations to others considering DataChannel:** Sit with the team and pick their brain like how your business can benefit from their product, what sources you want to integrate going ahead, how much data will be coming in every month, etc., this will facilitate your understanding of the product and the DataChannel team’s understanding of your unique requirements. **What problems is DataChannel solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to construct a centralized marketing data warehouse in a matter of days instead of months and started analyzing client campaigns’ performance faster than ever before. Earlier we used to spend almost sixty-plus man months per year in manual downloading, cleaning, and aggregating data from varied sources, now all that time has been efficiently refocused on optimizing client campaigns for an increased ROI. Also, we have been using Tableau for visualizing data and generating client reports for a while now, and this didn’t need to change when we shifted to DataChannel - it was just an easy plug-and-use. All it required was a few clicks and now our entire data is delivered to us in a dedicated warehouse at a granularity and frequency of our choosing.
