Damoov Reviews & Product Details

Damoov is a mobile telematics platform for product teams who want to embed trip tracking, driver behavior analytics, and safe-driving features into their existing mobile apps without building telematics from scratch or deploying in-vehicle hardware. At its core, Damoov turns a smartphone into a telematics device using built-in sensors, then delivers the full infrastructure to collect, process, and expose driving data through a Telematics SDK, DataHub (data management & analytics platform), and APIs. It’s used by insurers (UBI and safety programs), fleets and transportation providers (operational visibility), shared mobility and gig platforms (scalable driver tracking), automotive teams, and driver education apps. Key capabilities: * SDK for trip detection and configurable tracking (automatic, manual, on-demand, scheduled) * Driver behavior insights to support coaching, safety scoring, and program analytics * Real-time tracking mode for live fleet/mobility workflows * APIs for accessing trips, events, and analytics in your dashboards or systems * Open-source tracking & safe-driving app for pilots, demos, and quick starts Teams choose Damoov to ship telematics in days, reduce ongoing R&D and maintenance costs, and scale globally with a smartphone-first approach. Damoov supports consent-based data collection and provides implementation guidance, documentation, and ongoing support for production deployments.
