# What are the best ecommerce search platforms for marketing managers to boost product discovery and conversions?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi G2 community, question for the marketing side of the house. As of 2026, more of the site search stack sits with marketing managers than with engineers, so I'm trying to pin down which ecommerce search platforms actually let a marketing team boost product discovery and conversions without waiting on a dev queue. I'm reviewing<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/e-commerce-search"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/e-commerce-search">e-commerce search software</a> for a roundup, and three names keep surfacing:<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/algolia/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/algolia/reviews"><strong>Algolia</strong></a>,<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/bloomreach-bloomreach/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/bloomreach-bloomreach/reviews"><strong>Bloomreach</strong></a>, and<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/constructor-io-constructor/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/constructor-io-constructor/reviews"><strong>Constructor</strong></a>, with<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/coveo/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/coveo/reviews"><strong>Coveo</strong></a> and<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/athos-commerce-athos-commerce/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/athos-commerce-athos-commerce/reviews"><strong>Athos Commerce</strong></a> close behind.</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/algolia/reviews"><strong>Algolia</strong></a>: its merchandising console gives marketers rule-based control over rankings and boosts, though the console is only as useful as what the dev team wired up first.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/bloomreach-bloomreach/reviews"><strong>Bloomreach</strong></a>: pairs site search with marketer-facing merchandising and personalization workflows. On G2's category Grid its satisfaction trails its market presence, which is worth probing before committing.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/constructor-io-constructor/reviews"><strong>Constructor</strong></a>: sells on ranking tuned to conversion outcomes rather than clicks, and pitches merchandisers directly, though it skews toward larger catalogs.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/coveo/reviews"><strong>Coveo</strong></a>: heavier on AI relevance and analytics. Strong if marketing owns the discovery metrics, but it reads more enterprise platform than marketer self-serve.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/athos-commerce-athos-commerce/reviews"><strong>Athos Commerce</strong></a> (formerly Searchspring): merchandising-first heritage, built around campaign-style controls a marketing manager can run without engineering.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Which of these actually puts the discovery levers in marketing's hands rather than routing everything back through engineering, and which one is more hype than substance for this use case?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p>

&lt;p&gt;The real test with self-serve merchandising isn&#39;t the initial rule setup. It&#39;s whether a marketer can adjust synonyms, boosts, and facet ordering after a catalog sync without reopening a dev ticket. Athos Commerce and Bloomreach seem built around that ongoing loop more than Coveo does.&lt;/p&gt;
