It may not be the most technical or advanced engine, but for day-to-day use, it works more than well. What I like: I love that you can see the results in real-time without having to wait hours for a render. The interface is super intuitive, it didn't take me long to get used to it. It has a fairly complete library of materials and objects, which saves a lot of time. It works great with SketchUp, which is the program I use the most. The updates usually bring useful improvements, not just visual changes. **What do you dislike about D5 Render?** What doesn't convince me: It consumes quite a bit of GPU, so if you don't have a good graphics card, it can run slowly. Sometimes I feel it lacks more advanced tools to refine certain details. The free version is somewhat limited, and if you want to get the most out of it, you have to pay for the Pro version. As well as the ease to compose scenes and render them very very quick at incredible resolutions, 4090 gpu 2-3 minute render time for an exterior image at 6K resolution. **What do you dislike about D5 Render?** Pretty different results after rendering a scene than the preview , even with path tracing and everything turned on. **What problems is D5 Render solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is an amazing time saver as i get to practice more without sacrificing too much time in the process. I have tried learning other software to achieve photorealistic outputs however the time to grasp the skill is not enough for the learning curve. D5 on the other hand was just fairly smooth and just a few renders, I can already say I have understood how it works and how to adjust renders that is pure quality. **What do you dislike about D5 Render?** The only thing I don't like is that I'm not yet a Pro user and I just look at the Pro materials library with undeniable desire haha however, D5 has tons of features that in fact you can use to customize materials to achieve the ones like in Pro. That's the best part.
