Cube Reviews & Product Details

With Cube I can fetch data and build reports so quickly and easily. I can drilldown to see details behind the numbers which is so helpful for analysis. The system imports NS data daily automatically which makes updates timely. The 90 days of activation period was supportive and when asking questions the support and implementation teams address effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If the monthly subscribing pricing could be lower it would be perfectly GREAT! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From my perspective, Cube's biggest value is how much time it saves at month-end. We went from updating 50+ Excel files and managing 1.75 million formulas across a 200-tab workbook to filling in two fields on one template, which gives us back about 200 hours a month. Store managers now approve their P&L through a link instead of signing printouts, all 180 locations report from the same numbers, and ad-hoc questions get answered the same weekend the data loads rather than waiting on IT. It sits on top of our existing spreadsheets and our database setup, so we didn't have to throw out the tools we already knew. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest downside is that fetch times can occasionally run longer than I'd like, but whenever I've run into issues, the support team has jumped on quickly and worked with me to find a better solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a one stop shop for all the finance data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it is hard to understand how to unlock things in an already populated spreadsheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has made our monthly financial reporting process very efficient and it is very easy to understand underlying details of our financials with the AI assistant. Amanda has also been a great support contact and keeps us updated regularly on Cube's offerings and initatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be nice if there was a way to refresh all Cube ranges at once. I have a P&L and Balance sheet pulled onto two separate tabs, and it would be great to refresh them both at the same time rather than separately Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that the team is always listening to their customers and enhancing Cube in meaningful and utilitarian ways, not just with pretty UI updates. I also find scenario duplication, merges, mapping tools, and alternate tags and reporting within Cube very valuable. The initial setup of Cube was fairly simple, as long as you understand your data or have a data SME involved in the implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find some parts of Cube could be improved. I wish it had more intuitive overwriting capabilities or could make suggestions to ease using updates, like moving forecasted items between dimensions without loading zeroes and adding them to a separate line. Also, the ability to merge or fetch only specific parts of a range or scenario, similar to the publish function, would be great. I also want the option to have 'include drilldown details' toggled on for scenario duplication, merging, or creation. Lastly, it would be beneficial to customize mapping rules and conventions without having to rely on Cube support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate Cube’s ability to integrate with tools we already use, such as Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There’s very little I dislike about Cube overall. That said, it would be helpful to have more granular, precise control over how accounts roll up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Extremely customizable and user friendly. We have a complex architecture in our COA and Cube is able to absorb all of it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can't think of something. The customer service was changed recently I think but even after the change it is still top notch Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Cube for its ease of use, speed, and efficiency. It's really clean and easy to navigate. I love how it hooks up with Excel, and it's very efficient at bringing data in quickly. I can run multiple fetches at the same time, which is great. I love everything about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing, cube is basically perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

seamless integration with Quickbooks data, user experience is easy to follow, love the way that it works within Excel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A lot of focus on AI functionalities, which isn't a great fit for my specific company. Costs are rising as a result, but although we don't use the features still have to pay for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1/29/2026 update: Cube continues to be a game changer for our FP&A functions, both in our month-end close process and in quarterly forecasting. The flexibility Cube provides when configuring the system creates real efficiencies, even for edge cases we rarely encounter. Our monthly close schedule has been accelerated by more than a week, and with the help of Cube we’re consistently on time.

Implementing Cube was refreshingly simple and fast. The platform integrates seamlessly with our existing systems and required minimal ramp-up time for our team. Customer support has also been among the best I’ve experienced: responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in our success. I highly recommend it for teams looking for a powerful, user-friendly FP&A solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
