## Cube Reviews
  ### 1. Great experience so far!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Our team has had a great experience with Cube. We migrated off a more complex financial system and had some hesitation with the need to create files & templates in Excel in order to utilize Cube, since all of our data previously lived within our financial system. The implementation went off without a hitch and only took about 6 weeks. The platform is easy to use with a minimal learning curve. The live customer support Cube offers is unmatched and has been incredibly beneficial for the times we've needed it.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

I wish Cube had a more robust headcount planning tool within the platform.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quicker forecasting & ability to turn over financial reports to management.

  ### 2. Efficient and Effective FP&A Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube improves the efficiency and customization of the day to day functions of FP&A. Using Cube, we've reduced the preparation time of recurring reporting immensely. Cube is highly customizable in both Google sheets and excel making it a versatile tool to enhance FP&A deliverables.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

In the year my Company has utilized Cube, we've experienced numerous issues with complete and accurate reporting. There have been multiple instances where the integration between Cube and our accounting system were not functioning properly rendering the capabilities of Cube unusable. The customer support team is very responsive, however these issues sometimes takes days to resolve.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube increases the efficiency and time involved with the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis. Cube templates are highly customizable and can be used for various purposes, making the creation of unique financial reports streamlined. Cube removes the manual process of financial reporting and automates it.

  ### 3. Great at first but ongoing issues have emereged.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Our integration was great, and we were up and running very quickly. Very simple to set up the basics in terms of making templates for monthly reporting, actuals versus Budget analysis and to be able to dive into the details behind particular line items in Excel without having to go into Netsuite. It also made consolidating Budget and Forecasts very easy.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Unfortunately, we have had ongoing issues over the past few months with syncing our Cube to Netsuite. As everyone knows in FP&A the monthly close is always a time crunch in terms of quickly turning around reporting to management and department leaders. We have had ongoing issues with syncing Netsuite to Cube which has greatly delayed the turnaround time to generate standard reporting. Frankly, we've been disappointed with Cube's response and the time it takes to resolve these issues monthly. For a software at this price point, I would expect a speedier response and a resolution of the route cause.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FP&A basics such as monthly reporting, AvB, budget and forecast consolidation. Cube does the basics very well - as long as you don't have any issues getting your data in from Netsuite on a monthly basis!

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hello,

We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback for our team. I am aware a fix has been deployed to resolve the issue you described. We appreciate your patience here. We look forward to continue to celebrate wins together.

As always, if you have any additional questions or feedback please feel free to reach out to me directly at preston.lam@cubesoftware.com.

  ### 4. Cube has been a transformative breakthrough for my budgeting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

I love Cube's ease of use and the ability to do most of my work in a platform that I know and use regularly. I can do work right in Excel and google sheets.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

The initial data setup for our specific use case took some time, but I don't mind that work because it allowed me to really quality control the data in.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube allows me to keep all my data in one place that is locked in place and doesn't change unless I make the chnage myself. I'm able to do different versions and manipulate the data to see different scenarios while not losing my previous calculations.

  ### 5. A flexible, easy to use tool for our FP&A team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Once you understand how to manipulate the structure of the templates, pulling in the information you need in the correct layout is relatively simple. And with the ability to pull in multiple scenarios (forecast and actuals) allows for easy comparisons and variance analysis.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Due to the number of transactions each month, the tool sometimes times out when we try to upload the new month's transactions. And while this may not necessarily be a Cube issue (it could be a limitation of the ERP software we are connecting to), Cube automatically shuts off a setting that I cannot reset on my own, requiring that I reach out to Cube to turn back on. A minor issue, but annoying nonetheless when it happens repeatedly.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube helps streamline the data sources by allowing uploads from multiple external sources. Centralizing the data before we analyze it ensures we pull from a single source, and any issues can easily be traced back.

  ### 6. Deep, robust FP&A tool that is also easy to learn and use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube is a very deep tool and can be utilized for a variety of business purposes including financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgetary analysis, etc. In my experience, depth and flexibility with this type of tool often comes at the sacrifice of usability, but Cube is the exception. Both the online portal and the Excel plug-in are very intuitive and user-friendly. There was a bit of a process to initially get everything set up, but the experts at Cube were very friendly and helpful in walking us through every step, answering questions, and generally going above and beyond to ensure we got the most out of their product. The online dashboard is very easy to set up and personalize and can give a great at-a-glace illustration of business trends or any other company-specific metrics you would like to track. As an avid Excel-user myself, the Excel plug-in is my personal favorite feature that Cube offers. Using the plug-in allows data pulled into spreadsheets and sliced and diced as necessary within seconds, without resorting to macros, power queries, or any over-complicated formulas that would otherwise be needed to accomplish the same task. Cube is an all-around strong product that will only continue to improve and I would highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

As with any software tool, there are occasionally small things with Cube that can be improved. What sets some companies apart in this area is their willingness to listen to feedback and continuously improve their product - Cube absolutely passes this test. They have been very patient and willing to listen to any and all feedback we have offered, and I can tell they genuinely care about hearing customer feedback that they can use to continuously develop new features and improve existing ones. The software is designed with the end-user in mind and it shows.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Cube for budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, business performance and trend analysis, etc. The Excel plug-in is especially helpful as it allows automatic updating of spreadsheets with GL data, which we currently utilize for accounting processes like month-end-close, reconciliations, etc.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Jacob, thanks for leaving such an insightful review!

We are especially pumped to hear that you've been finding dashboards handy. Appreciate you taking the time to leave us some feedback, I will be sure to share your comments internally.

Preston, Customer Marketing @ Cube

  ### 7. Easy connect and consolidate data into one platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube is easy to use once you get a hang of it. I love how we can go into Cube and pull any information that we need since most of our data are in Cube. I love how easy it is to integrate our system with Cube as well. I mostly use the system for month end close process and never encounter any problems so far!

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

It took a few trials to be able to fully understand and function it seamlessly, but once you know how it works, you can basically do anything. Our Cube support is very helpful and quick to jump into any questions we have.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast and easy to connect our data and consolidate our financial into one platform. I love the one click import and export to and from Excel. Cube makes our month end close process a lot smoother, quicker, and more efficient!

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Fantastic to hear you've been able to quickly adopt Cube and we've been able to quickly integrate with how you work. Would love to hear how you've been reallocating the time saved from month-end. Free free to reach out to me directly at preston.lam@cubesoftware.com :)

  ### 8. Cube has helped scale our team efficiency by leaps and bounds.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R. | Analyst, Strategic Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Our team went from modeling exclusively on excel to integrating cube and immediately seeing benefits. We had a timeline for a major task that we otherwise would not have been able to complete in a timely manner if we didn't have Cube. I'm continually looking forward to iterations of our projects to see where we can continue to drive efficiencies through Cube and how we can best utilize it so that our team continues to level up. Also, their CSM team is the best!

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Cube is a great software, but sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge, at least in the beginning, to organize your financials in the way you view your company. However, this is made dramatically easier by the great work their CSM team does and implementation is still lightning speed in comparison to other similar tools. Whatever challenge setting up may be, it is still well worth the effort and the benefits will undoubtedly be felt immediately.

Updated April 2023 - While Cube has made basic processes much quicker, we suffer every Close and Quarter-End Process because of the delay it takes in importing data and subsequently refreshing that data to flow through our system. We're not even submitting that much data, so how unreliable and useless Cube becomes is pretty shocking. Working with the CSM team post-implementation is pretty difficult since they don't really work with you to figure out the issues, they just send it to their technical teams who struggle to identify what's going on and something that you would think can be resolved in 1-2 hours ends up taking 24hrs+. These issues happen monthly so we are constantly delayed on when we send out our financial packages.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving problems across reporting and simply being able to organize our data more quickly and efficiently allowing us to be much more productive.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hi Adam,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take your comments extremely seriously. As such, I have shared your concerns internally. From my understanding, we've been able to connect with you and your team to fix the delays you were seeing.

But, to ensure this issue has been fully resolved in your eyes, I have asked your CSM and our team to reach out immediately to touch base to ensure you are fully supported. This is not the standard customer experience we aim to deliver and we apologize for any impact this has had on you and your team. Looking forward to getting us back on track here.

We hope to hear back from you soon,
Preston, Customer Marketing @ Cube

  ### 9. The Best Multi Company Reporting Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube has cut my reporting time from several HOURS to several MINUTES!

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Nothing, I like everything about Cube!!!

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating reports with data from multiple Quickbooks Online accounts

  ### 10. Great solution at a reasonable price!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

The product is relatively easy to use. The major benefit of Cube is the native gsheets/excel addon.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Not as powerful as some of the more expensive competitors.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking all our financial data out of Quickbooks and into our operating model for further analysis.

  ### 11. Saving time and adding value with a powerful tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonella S. | VP of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Being able to fetch data from the ERP to excel saves me so much time and effort. I no longer need to log in to the ERP, run a report, export the report, format it and copy and paste data into financial reports. Implementation was quick, and the software is easy to use. Customer support is helpful and responds quickly. Being able to customize within Cube to match our unique reporting needs is a plus. Being able to publish multiple scenarios streamlines our ability to analyze financials across different scenarios. Cube has allowed me to increase the volume of reporting to stakeholders providing even more visibility into company financials.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

The time to import data from the ERP to Cube takes longer than I expected. It would be great if Cube was able to receive updates from the ERP in real-time which would also eliminate the need to import.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to regularly gather data from multiple sources saves time and makes the reporting process easier. Being able to seamlessly compare multiple scenarios allows for more insight and analysis into company performance.

  ### 12. Streamlining FP&A using easy-to-use Excel templates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube has been helpful in automating our FP&A activities such as monthly actuals vs. budget reporting and creating easy-to-use Excel templates to track and monitor KPIs.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Since Cube leverages Excel-based templates, it may require additional work to create various ad-hoc reports and verify that formulas/linking are done correctly.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to pull data instantly from various sources such as our ERP and consolidate financial results across multiple departments. Allows us to run ad-hoc reporting that would otherwise be challenging using standalone spreadsheets.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hey Stephen,

Awesome to hear that Cube is allowing you to stay agile and spin up ad-hoc reporting, would love to learn more about how else you've been finding success! Free free to reach out to me directly at preston.lam@cubesoftware.com.

Happy planning!

  ### 13. Time Saver! Easy to use and setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube has cut significant time off our close process by allowing us to get data from several sources into one place that we can pull at a moments time. It has allowed the team to spend more time analyzing the data and less time compiling data. We have our CRM, HRIS, Financial, and Budget data in one place and standardized for a fraction of the cost of several other solutions we looked at.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Sometimes the import process can take a little bit of time.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allowed us to get all of our data into one place. We have multiple entities, and it made consolidation very simple for us. For example, we can get consolidated financials out with the click of a button now instead of having a manual process to map and eliminate accounts. It has cut down on mistakes and removed the potential for errors moving forward.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hi Robert,

Time saved = music to our ears. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Cube so far. Our team is constantly chipping away at import/fetch times, in our next product update email you should be hearing some more details around that.

Would love to connect sometime to learn more about how your using Cube!

  ### 14. Extremely Agile FP&A Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

I love how flexible it is, and the drill-through capability is phenomenal. We were able to implement the tool in a handful of weeks and saw immediate efficiencies.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Some of the integration aspects could be better. Also, dimension management could use member name/alias functionality to limit the number of times you have to update reports.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to dynamically pull information out of Excel. Segmentation reporting. The tool is the backbone of our management reporting process.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hi David,

We're pumped to hear you've been enjoying using the drilldown functionality in Cube. Would love to be able to pass that feedback for integrations back to our product team. If you haven't already feel free to submit any feature requests via the Cube knowledge base!

Preston, Customer Marketing @ Cube

  ### 15. So far so good!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

I have used other planning software products in the past and what I really like about Cube is how it uses Excel as its platform. This has allowed us to use existing reports, models, dashboards, etc. Also, the ease of setup and creation of new or ad hoc reports has saved our team tons of time. The entire finance team has been pretty happy and impressed with the functionality we have seen and would make the same choice again with going with Cube

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

While Cube and its platform is pretty straightforward, I felt like there was the need for a little extra time to understand the best practices to make the product work best for our needs. However, after getting acclimated to Cube, it is all easy to use.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main use cases are eas of pulling financials data on multiple versions as well as pulling a subset of actual KPI vs projected KPI. What once took hours to perform now takes minutes.

  ### 16. Easy to get up and running - 3 bottoms-up budget scenarios built and compiled in less than 2 weeks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam F. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

We evaluated several vendors in this space, ranging from small players to larger enterprise-level solutions. We found Cube to be the best balance of capabilities, structure, and integration with our existing environments (working in Excel rather than Google Sheets or a separate tool). The cube implementation went incredibly smoothly. Our implementation manager was new to the organization, but was clearly well-supported by staff behind the scenes. Training up our leadership team to fetch and publish data was a breeze. We went from time-consuming manual variance reporting to self-serve reporting in the span of a couple of months.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

We found the SalesForce integration to be a bit clunky given Cube's target market. During implementation we were advised to ask our SalesForce admin team to give us the SOQL query we needed. As a smaller organization we don't have a full-time SalesForce admin, and we could have used more guidance on what fields others are pulling into Cube from SalesForce. SalesForce integrations we've done with other tools have been much smoother.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Cube to do annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly variance reporting. This allows us to quickly compile data for board presentations and to guide operational decision-making. The ability to duplicate scenarios makes it a breeze to iterate and test without having to keep track of a bunch of offline files.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hello Sam!

Thank you for your review, I will make sure to pass your feedback to our team about your experience with the Salesforce integration. Glad to hear overall your implementation went smoothly. We're focused on improving our knowledge base to help our newer customers get ramped up faster than ever. Be on the lookout for emails from us. Looking forward to chatting in the future.

  ### 17. Great excel add-in application

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tsubasa B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

+ Cube has a fairly intuitive connection with the Xero platform. It is easy to set up and the sync works well.
+ The data captured from our accounting system is then easily pulled into customizable excel packages allowing for automated, custom reporting.
+ There is a learning curve working with the add-in; however once you get used to it and set up your reporting templates - reporting can become as fast as a few clicks to update.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

+ Only downside for Cube is the lack of real-time updates from the accounting system. Currently data updates need to be sync'd manually into the main portal prior to updating using the add-in in excel. (Would be nice to be able to initiate this from the add-in as well)

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Custom financial reporting packages. Allows for us to get a more custom reporting package that the default Xero reports cannot accomplish.

  ### 18. Simple and intuitive, easy to use - has potential for more

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube provides an interactive, easy to use and simple interface to access and analyse financial data in a matter in which many finance professionals are familiar with - within Excel itself. Once it's set up, it works well in achieving its goal through simplicity and intuitive template building. It provides a great way to quickly update budgets, drill into detail from the underlying Cube data table, and data is easy to update (such as dimensions or mapping) or export raw data for analysis in external platforms.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Detail isn't as easily visible as it could be, as drilling int detail requires first creating a Cube template and then drilling into a specific value. While this simplicity is a key strength for high level updates or budgets, or even GL-level data, analysisng underlying transactional data using Cube isn't as effective as it could be. Cube should aim to implement the ability to query its data warehouse via external platforms such as Power BI or Tableau, which doesn't currently exist. Being able to query the Cube data via API, Odata feed etc would elevate the solution to a higher level, and would allow Cube to only provide value in Excel, but to be used as a warehouse solution as well, which would remove the need for software such as Snowflake in small or medium sized businesses. Currently to analyse Cube data in more granular detail requires exporting the data manually to the tool of choice. This is unfortuante as it seems Cube already has the tools and setup in place to act as a good warehouse tool - the customer has set up the dimensions, structures, queries and rules within Cube to create Excel Cubes, would be good if it could then be queried externally.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube provides an interactive, easy to use and simple interface to access and analyse financial data in a matter in which many finance professionals are familiar with - within Excel itself. Once it's set up, it works well in achieving its goal through simplicity and intuitive template building. ### 19. Cube FP&A Tool - Quick and Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Setup and Implementation was quick and easy to do. The templates are customizable and work well in Excel and Google Sheets, which is important as Google Sheets is our main collaboration tool within the team.

The intuitive flow is easy to grasp as well, you can publish data to different scenarios, and fetch to pre-created templates.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

The processing speed of some of the fetches can take time. I believe they are working on improving the speed.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting of monthly actuals vs. plan. Streamline and automating our old manual processes of copy and pasting data from our accounting ERP.

  ### 20. Cube- a helpful tool for month end reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube displays information in a way that makes month-on-month comparison of data easy for the user. It allows for easy variance review at month end. Less time is spent pulling data and more time analysing it.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Sometimes it can be slow for information loaded to the accounting system to be transferred into cube. This means last-minute changes made to financials are occasionally slow to flow through to Cube.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube saves time when drilling down data to pull out information at month end; these time-saving measures are critical when the time for accountants at month end is short!

  ### 21. Best excel plug-in for financial data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jai P. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

The simplicity of data fetching, able to format and display in your preferred way. And if data input set up correctly, you can truly rely on the data and quickly transpose for reporting needs.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

The set-up of data integrations, mapping and configuration of source input files can be a little time consuming. However, it has definitely been worth now that it's all set-up.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fetching of data quickly, instantaneously and in the format I want it in.

It benefits me with fast turnaround for stakeholder requests on FTE metrics, KPI metrics and revenue metrics.

  ### 22. Super Intuitive - perfect for FP&A in a business not ready to leave excel

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

The intuitive way you can leverage excel skills with one source of data.

Customer support is bets I've exeprienced in 3 FP&A system imlpementations.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Also, would like to be able to manage project tracking like rolling forecasts and budget in the system to have a summary of who has published, who is outstanding etc

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One source of truth and easy to implement across the business (not just finance) as can embed Cube data into current excel sheets.

  ### 23. Awesome product when it works.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

When it is performing at its best, Cube is truly excellent software. Our team has utilized it to streamline what we do and how we do it. The staff is courteous and professional and is always great to work with when we have needs.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

The software has faced many issues and we have experienced prolonged load times and unknown errors that have caused many headaches. The support staff is great when this happens, and we almost always find a solution eventually. Still, it is frustrating when a simple process that has taken 10 minutes in the past takes two days to complete due to some underlying error.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Budget variance analysis, Automating ratio analysis, Monitoring performance, generally making it easier to communicate financial data to and retrieve budget information from company leadership.

**Official Response from Sarah Frazier:**

> Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Cube.

Our team is constantly looking to enhance the customer experience and feedback like yours helps us do just that.
We’ve made considerable performance investments in the platform and are committed to continued performance-enhancing improvements. Our new calculation engine, for example, has significantly improved import times, which should address the issues you mentioned here.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We are happy to discuss this with you further.

  ### 24. Want to build out your FP&A reporting? Cube is the answer.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

I have used Cube across 2 seperate firms and they have helped revolutionize our reporting,

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Admin licenses is limited in amount, may be difficult for larger organizations.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data storage and a singluar source of truth

  ### 25. Really solid tool, easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

I don't have a hardcore technical FP&A background, but after a few tutorial sessions, I could pick it up without much trouble. Moreover, their customer success team is dedicated, highly trained, and easy to reach.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

As is the case with a lot of newer tools, it doesn't have very extensive functionality.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us compare our planned budget vs. actual results with relative ease, and makes us more productive as a team. In addition, the CSM team is top-notch, which makes our month-close process a lot less stressful.

  ### 26. I wish it works

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Excellent customer service. My account manager has been very helpful and responsive throughout the entire cource.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

There has been issue with the connector between Netsuite and CUBE that limits my use of CUBE as FB&A tool. It's still an ongoing issue after 8 month since we signed up. I really wish it works.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been able to create reporting based on customized data attribution on the expense part.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hello,

We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback for our team. I am aware a fix has been deployed to solve the issue you described. We appreciate your patience here. It's good to know that you've felt supported by our team, and excited for our continued partnership!

  ### 27. Good so far, could be great with some additional capabilities!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

What I like the best about Cube is that it allows our team to continue living in Excel or Google Sheets while still having a good way of consolidating the data in a centralized location that we can access. It also negates the need to have multiple workbooks linked together with links that can break and lead to inaccurate data. Additionally, there really is no native language or system learning that you need to do like most of the other companies in this field because you are just using Excel. This means when hiring/training a new hire or anything like that on Cube, they are basically up and running and contributing in no time because they don't have to waste time learning the ins and outs of the system and how you need to maintain it from the back end.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

The biggest hurdle/downside I have encountered with Cube is pulling the bottom-level detail data down from the Cube. When you just want to pull higher level reports like an Income Statement summary or how revenue performed over the course of the year, then Cube is great. It pulls all of those high-level pieces perfectly and makes for effortless reporting. However, currently, there is no way to pull the bottom-level detail that makes up a specific number straight from Cube into an organized list. You can pull the high level numbers and then drill into them to get the detail, but that also gives you the data in a weird format and is not very digestible to budget owner consumers.

For example if I wanted to pull down the Sales software costs that we planned for the year by month with all of the specific vendors and attributes that make up the expenses in the software account, I cannot currently do that. It only allows me to pull the total Software account and then have to drill into the time period you want the data for and then would have to pivot the drill down to get in a readable format. This makes it difficult to pull down the data, then make quick changes and load back up to Cube.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They seem to be very interested in customer feedback and their pain points so that they can address them. Their feedback tool shows how many customers are having the same issues so that it moves it up their queue. They are working on improving their reporting and dashboard capabilities, which is something we are interested in. To my knowledge though, I have not heard that they have been working on addressing my main concern around being able to pull the bottom level detail data straight from the cube, which I think is their biggest missing piece.

  ### 28. Fantastic financial planning software for small/lean Finance teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube does a great job of combining the flexibility of your existing excel/gsheets with the security and controls of a cloud-based enterprise software. Essentially, anything you can create in a spreadsheet is anything that Cube can store. No need to worry about different versions, version controls, issues auditing work, departments working on previous versions, etc. By storing your data in the cloud, you can maintain one source of truth and work with confidence.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

The main pain point with Cube is that you are restricted to row and file size limits that all spreadsheets have. If you are a rapidly growing company with a ton of customer and sales data (many rows), it might be a hindrance.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to get our financial review data prepped and shared for slide decks to executives within a much, much shorter timespan. For reference, it used to take us 8-10 hours monthly and it has now dropped to around 2-3 hours monthly with Cube. This allows us to be more agile and future-proof when it comes to sharing financial data in real time. We are also able to create new budgets/forecasts on the fly since all the work is done on a spreadsheet. New variables/assumptions can easily be added to existing financial models.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hi Matt, Appreciate you taking the time to leave the thoughtful review. Being able to help your team move faster and more efficiently is wonderful to hear. Would love to learn about what the plans are for the future!

  ### 29. Changing how we approach Finance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube has allowed us to streamline our Budgeting, forecasting, and monthly and AD Hoc Financial Reporting. Cube allows for greater structure and analysis of our data than what came out of our ERP system. Cube has helped to reduce reporting times and provide greater insights for the decision-makers of our company.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Cube is still working through some bugs as they roll out new features. Fortunately, live support and CSM are extremely helpful in escalating issues and are generally responsive.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube solves the issue of organizing and structuring our data allowing for more complex analysis and decision-making. Doing excel is an added bonus as it is one less system we have to learn to use.

  ### 30. Very fast and efficient FP&A tool that is easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

I like that it has streamlined our financial reporting for our reports. I appreciate that the Cube team is always knowledgable and quick to support us.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Depending on the amoung of GL data it can take a while to fully import our GL data.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are helping streamling our reporting on our financial metrics per SKU. This has greatly improved our budgeting and forecasting using a bottoms up approach.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Thank you for the review! We are always here to help.

I'd love to learn more about your use case if you are up for a chat :) Feel free to reach out to me at preston.lam@cubesoftware.com

  ### 31. The best and easiest FP&A software out there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy H. | Senior Director Financial Planning and Analysis, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

It is so simple to set up and use. Merging scenarios, reporting, and easy of upload make it the best system available out there. Drill down function rocks!

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Not much! Pretty perfect in design. Upload time has dramatically reduced.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use. I'm an army of 1. I need a nimble system. This has saved us hours on detailed close files since the drill down functions works so well.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Thanks for the review Timothy!

So happy to hear about the wins you're seeing with Cube, being able to help you scale is awesome. Looking forward to continue to hear about all you're doing with Cube!

  ### 32. Simple and Useful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Pulling (or should I say Fetching) meaningful financial data across multiple intersections can be done much more efficiently now that we have Cube. Saves loads of time during month-end reporting and board presentations.

The Publish feature separates Cube from other financial reporting software. This is one of their most dynamic features as you can send data right from your own personal spreadsheet into Cube.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

It is a one-size-fits-all model, so if your business model is uber-complex or your company is constructed in a very decentralized manner, you may have some difficulty making Cube fit your needs. Also, it is a financial reporting tool, not great for financial modeling.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube is still a very young company that is evolving. They welcome any and all feedback regarding the product and the user interface. Customer service has been excellent in our experience thus far.

  ### 33. Great Value and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

The price point and the ease of use. Both the NetSuite integration and the Excel addon are very straightforward and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Netsuite integration is not fully automatic, you would still need to manually update any changes to your chart of account. Customer service was excellent at the beginning but has been slower to respond within the last few months.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Budgeting and forcasting

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Thank you for the feedback!

We've been putting a ton of work to make our knowledge base more useful for our customers. We're always open to suggestions for future help articles! I have asked your CSM to reach out about your Netsuite integration, glad to hear you find it easy to use. From our understanding, you should not be seeing any issues! **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea M. | GM Finance , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Easy to upload and access data, even for an exec! The team finds Cube excellent for slicing and dicing data to provide the insights and analysis we need.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Like any analysis tool, it does take a little while to get familiar with using it

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to data in one source; reporting and insights and analysis of financial data

  ### 35. Efficient tool for FP&A

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

It's an easy to use platform and has a good interface. Very intuitive and has the ability to drilldown into deeper levels.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

It can be tedious refreshing data across each department as there isn't a capability to refresh all departments at once

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing department heads with actuals vs. budgeted monthly variances

  ### 36. Cube is easy to use and has saved us lots of time and energy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Integrates with excel and Google Sheet
User friendly UI
Makes pulling data/reports a lot easier

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

I don't have any major complaints about Cube

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing manual work by automating the process of pulling financial data. It also helps with visibility by allowing us to drill into details.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hey Daniel,

So nice to see you've been finding value with drilldowns, we recently released "enhanced drilldowns" to make that feature even more helpful. Let us you what you think!

  ### 37. The Possibilities Are Endless!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

In my experience with FP&A software tools, Cube has proven to be the most reliable and flexible I have ever used. Cube seamlessly integrates with Excel and has quickly become our singular source of truth for our Actuals, Budget, and variance reporting.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

I wish it was possible to add more dimensions (Accounts, Departments, Time, etc.) to Cube. We are currently limited to only 7 or 8 dimensions and could use the additional metrics for more advanced analysis.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube is helping our business solve the issue of a singular source of truth for our analysis. Using Cube's audit trail and controls has been extremely helpful in providing accuracy to our business.

  ### 38. Great, Flexible tool+

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Russel D. | Co-Founder and Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

flexibility, customer support, easy to learn & manage

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

none really. overall it worked as I had expected

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

actualizing reports, budgeting, forecasting, version control -- all of which used to take time, but now its a lot easier

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hey Russel,

Thanks for leaving us a review, happy to hear that we're making things easier and saving you time!

  ### 39. Instant Productivity Gainz!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

The ease at which the software can be implemented and put into production, coupled with the user-friendly interface, is unmatched. Also, love the engagement with the customer success team, they take feedback seriously and always follow up with a response.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Some common features like zero- suppression and in cell retrieval are not available in the current release. Sometimes the data fetch and publish can go into a pinwheel of death type of situation.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a tool to quickly build standardized reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. I was able to cut down close times, create templates for reporting, and establish dynamic financial models within weeks. Looking forward to future releases and dashboarding tools!

  ### 40. The FP&A team had big wins within the first two weeks of implementation!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacki A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Being able to utilize both excel and sheets has been a great win for our team. Also the turnaround on reporting is much quicker with Cube.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

It would be beneficial to have more reporting capabilities within the platform (i.e., dashboards and other visuals) that end users could access - view only.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The first priority was maintaining consistent and accurate monthly financial data that could be distributed timely. This has been a significant efficiency gain for the team.

  ### 41. Great Product!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas J. | Senior Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Cube?**

I love the flexibility of Cube. It functions like many of the big name multi dimensional tools. What I love the most is Cube's flexibility. Cube doesn't tell me how to manage my organization, rather it provides me the flexibility to manage our processes how we see fit.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

There is not much I don't like about Cube. They are a young product that is continuously releasing new features. If there's something you don't like it's most likely being addressed on the roadmap.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube allows me to budget, forecast, and report against multiple dimensions in a way that is easy yet flexible. The problem I have using just excel is that gathering and normalizing the data can take a lot of complex formulas before I even get to reporting or budgeting/forecasting. Cube takes the data aggregation out of my models and puts it into a system, by doing this I can create simple reports on any intersection of the data. When forecasting and budgeting I can plan different lines of the P&L differently, upload them at the appropriate level of detail and then consistently report on them or use them as drivers for other lines.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hey Nicholas,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. Glad you feel that our roadmap is going in the right direction and meeting your needs. We are doing more to share all the updates our product team is making, stay tuned! Any time you have feedback or things you'd like to see. You can send me a note at preston.lam@cubesoftware.com.

Best,
Preston - Customer Marketing @ Cube.

  ### 42. Like a part-time employee!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube provides the opportunity to easily update complex reports without downloading reports from multiple instances of QBO and then cutting/pasting.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

It integrates well with QBO, but if you change account names/structures, you'll need to update some items manually in Cube.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time to manage multiple sets of books - I spend too much time on reporting and checking to make sure my edits are accurate. Cube is like a part-time employee!

  ### 43. Good product for businesses operating their models on google sheets

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

The ability to connect to Google Sheets and quick run BVAs.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

It takes awhile to resync data, and it does not provide modeling/analytics. Think of it as an API/Pivot Table

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automates the budget vs. actual process, which saves a lot of time.

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. From what you've shared, it seems you may be just scratching the surface of Cube's capabilities. There is so much more that Cube can do beyond just automating your budgets vs. actuals process to help make your FP&A more efficient and effective. We have also begun to roll out early access to our enhanced dashboards allowing users to turn their data into configurable visualizations. It sounds like you may be interested in this as well. We'd love to connect with you and learn more about how you are currently using Cube and share some use cases you aren't taking advantage of yet. Feel free to reach out to me direct at preston.lam@cubesoftware.com.

Best,

  ### 44. Cube let's you think out of the box

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Ability to import data and use that data flexibly to create reports.
Additionally, refresh pre-existing reports in seconds rather than hours!

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Manual importing by clicking a button, although I hear this is being automated soon

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reporting on financials and ad-hoc reporting

  ### 45. Great FP&A Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Overall an excellent product that is intuitive, simple to use, and agile. We needed the flexibility for FP&A and many of the enterprise tools have high barriers of entry and up-front configuration needed.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Integration into our ERP is a bit clunky as it needs file download and upload. Better integration would be helpful.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Excellent experience, embedded into our decision making process for performance management and budgeting
It's flexible, agile and easy to use.

  ### 46. One-stop shop for financial reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco M. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube's flexibility has allowed us to use it not only for the intended FP&A case, but also to streamline our SEC reporting process. Cube permits the user to retrieve data from different sources (in our case QuickBooks online and Google sheets), map it, and organize it in one place and finally push it into a spreadsheet environment that we are all familiar with and that we can use for many different purposes, like, in our case, SEC reporting. Customer success is also a big plus, any question we have gets responded to almost instantaneously by our rep through Slack. Finally, Cube has also an open API which makes it possible to connect to other data-wrangling software such as Alteryx.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

A couple of things: 1) it can feel a bit "blackboxie" in the sense that when accessing the web app, it's hard to see what information has already been input; and, 2) it currently doesn't have a way to restrict what users can access

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube has helped us to streamline both the budgeting/forecasting process and also our financial reporting, which is critical in an organization like ours where we have a high volume of SEC filings.

  ### 47. Simple and Powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dustin W. | Director of Operational Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Cube?**

It's Simple. Cube takes in your KPIs and other data, and connects to your accounting systems. Then, connect to Sheets or Excel, create your output mapping, and now you have a single source of truth you can manipulate without worrying if someone is going to hard code a cell and throw off downstream calculations. Cube will allow you to give your department leaders the ability to create their own scenarios and forecasts, track their budget to actuals, and see their own P&Ls, all within a spreadsheet.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Cube is a newer platform, and as such, they're doing aggressive feature building. This means that some functionality has been impacted on occasion for a short period of time. Thankfully, their customer service teams are on top of the issues and able to support you.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you're forecasting and tracking KPIs in spreadsheets and its time to upgrade to a formal product, but you're hesitant to pull the trigger on a host of tools that require lengthy implementation cycles, limit your end users, or isn't flexible to encompass your business operations, you need to schedule a demo with Cube. It will help organize your existing chaos and scale as you continue to grow.

  ### 48. Cube reduced our month and year end financial statements from a full day to under an hour

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick K. | Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Being able to customize a report template, and "fetch" the data for different periods saves our accounting team so much time when we are closing a month/period.

I also love how seamless Cube integrates with Google Sheets. Our company exclusively uses Google products, and when we were shopping around, most similar solutions only used Excel.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

I don't like that Cube is a manual pull from NetSuite. We would love if it was a 2-way sync with live data.

This is a minor annoyance, but I wish if there wasn't data in the fetch, Cube would report a zero, and not leave the cell blank.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What took a full day (or more) of creating digestible reports for leadership and stakeholders can now be done in under an hour. Creating the template is a bit cumbersome at first, but once the initial leg work is done, it's super easy going forward

**Official Response from Preston Lam:**

> Hi Rick,

I was going through our older reviews and noticed your feedback here. Such a joy to hear about the time savings and efficiency your team is seeing, I would love to connect to learn more about how things have been going.

As I am sure you are aware of by now, since your review, the connection from Netsuite is no longer manual, and we've released our "exclude zeros from fetch" feature. I've asked your Customer Success manager to follow up to confirm you are aware and taking advantage of these updates.

We hope to hear from you soon!

Preston,
Customer Marketing @ Cube

  ### 49. Great FP&A Tool - Helped streamline financial reporting and created efficiencies for our team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew L. | F, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Cube is great for many things like google sheet extensions, publishing to different scenarios, and customized roll-ups. It has drastically improved our team's ability to create automated reporting for deep-diving month-end variances.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

Cube is still developing functionality so it doesn't support things like suppressing zeroes so you can't build automated data dumps besides through the data exporter tool. In the forecasting model, it is very easy to publish to a one-off dimension and duplicate the values. Be careful to make sure you are always publishing to the same dimensions. Being able to roll one forecast into the next instead of republishing would be super helpful, which I don't think current exists.

**Recommendations to others considering Cube:**

Cube is a start-up so they are still implementing new features. It won't have everything you are looking for but it is great for the price point.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube allows us to automate reporting and it allows us to build reporting to be able to deep dive into the drivers of business performance. Helps speed up and automate reporting while providing the necessary tools to deep dive variances and drivers.

  ### 50. Cube simplified my life

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristina D. | VP of Finance and Strategy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Cube?**

Best part of Cube is customer service support. It is honestly a white glove service! They are just a slack ping away. Cube simplified my life by taking away the manual process from having to enter actuals into my reporting. It also allows for multiple scenario creations and tracking.

**What do you dislike about Cube?**

The tool is very sensitive, but understandably so. If it was not this sensitive, then it would pull incorrect info. One thing I wish it did have is the option to manually adjust info if needed vs having to re publish figures in order to correct mistakes. But this is honestly not even a huge deal.

**Recommendations to others considering Cube:**

Perhaps, the tool’s greatest benefit lies in its ability to automate and simplify complex budgeting and forecasting practices. Support was really helpful at the beginning, and it made my experience with Cube better. It's good software for the price.

**What problems is Cube solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cube helped us solve the manual entry of actuals into our financial reports. Now it is just a matter of a click of a button and the information is there in a matter of seconds.
