The recognition works very well, even with "complicated" cards. It is fast an efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When photographing a card with the phone sideways (=better camera resolution, more frame filling), the resulting image in the record does not auto-rotate to show the card correctly. The export as csv and getting it into outlook as vcf files has proven challenging and cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Really glad the recognition is holding up on the complicated cards.
On the export: you can skip the CSV and VCF step. Connecting Outlook 365 under Settings → Integrations syncs your scanned contacts to your Outlook contacts, and Google Contacts works the same way. To move them in one go instead, tap Select on your contacts list, then Select all → Export → Outlook (Online), which gives you a single file laid out for Outlook's contact import.
On cards photographed sideways: you're right that the image doesn't rotate itself. On Android you can straighten it in the crop step before saving; on iOS there's no rotate control yet. We appreciate the feedback, it helps guide where we invest next.
