Unfortunately, which they fail to do. They promise to let you download, but give you broken downloads. They don't tell howmany you get in a download but seem to be in somewhere at a small print. In your place to pay they say you get refunded unquestioned, but when your downloads didn't work and you ask for a refund and they'll say sorry we don't refund. **What do you dislike about Course Hero?** Absolutely disgusting company. When their downloads didn't work (they give you corrupted files which don't work the same way as the previews), they would keep your money and walk away giving misinformation from their terms and conditions. Nothing will work for the customer, but everything will work for them. With the textbook features, there are also answer guides that will help you practice and check your work on problems. I like how you can also sort by college and course to find specific materials for what you’re actually learning. Professors are also able to guide you and provide help alongside the tutors that Course Hero provides to help you with tough problems and guide you in the right direction. **What do you dislike about Course Hero?** I dislike that there are frequent ads on the website and that you often have to upload your own work to see others’. I also found the tutoring feature to be slower than what they advertise it to be. They claim help is given in under 15 minutes, but I have found that not to be the case in all courses. **What problems is Course Hero solving and how is that benefiting you?** I personally used Course Hero in college for my classes at Arizona State. I would look up the course that I signed up for and would look ahead to see what kind of material I could be expecting from the course. I have found it to be very beneficial to be able to compare notes and create the best study guides. I noticed a dramatic increase in study habits and performance after using Course Hero. I have also found that I have used it outside of college and in a work setting to help provide assistance for interns coming into the business. They have all materials needed from Course Hero and are able to reach out if they have any questions. ### 12. An abundance of resources with limited access. There were a few subjects I was not very familiar with. So I had to look for stuff online to help me keep up and I found Course Hero. It improved my academic experience in a significant way so I used it through all of my college years. My favorite aspect part of Course Hero by far is the infographic section. I am a person that likes things to be summarised. Course Hero has tons of useful ones that I still use today to recap some concepts. The second thing that I enjoyed the most was the college articles section. I love to read blogs, especially the ones that I can immediately act on, and the ones in course heroes are great because they keep it short and sweet but they are super useful. Since we experience college differently back home, I was not sure what to expect once here so it was a really good aid. And finally, the literature infographics helped me discover how much I enjoy reading once I learn about the context of a certain book. **What do you dislike about Course Hero?** It may not be super easy to use. The site layout could use a bit more organization. **Recommendations to others considering Course Hero:** Not everybody likes to learn the same way or the same type of software. So I think that in order to be satisfied you should compare your options so once you make the choice you know you made the best one. Also, really take some time to explore the different products that the course hero has. I have learned that many people fail to recognize that there is more than just student-generated content and more than just the study guides. **What problems is Course Hero solving and how is that benefiting you?** - Fill gaps that my professor doesn't cover in class. - It gives me access to other student's materials which has helped me with my own work multiple times. -It allows me to share the academic work that I think I did a really good job and might be able to help other students. - It helped me to keep up with the rest of the class. - I discovered how much I can enjoy reading once I learn more about the context of the books. ### 15. This offered me little to no help and they overcharge without any support team to help when an issue occurs. **What do you dislike about Course Hero?** When I had set it up, I thought it was a one time payment initially for 1 year not knowing they were going to re-charge me even though I am done with school. They don't have a proper support team to cancel and ask for a refund and they charge a ridiculous amount for something that is not great. Apparently, they force you to set up an account with a recurring payment and force you to save your payment option to their cite in order to get the minor help that they offer. To access most of the questions, you would need to pay a really high amount and that has nothing to do with how much or how less you use the website. I liked the flashcards because thats my own personal style so having them done already was great. I think its smart to exchange student material for their access to coursehero. **What do you dislike about Course Hero?** The amount you have to comb through and the amount you have to wait in between asking a question and waiting for a tutor. Also the fee is 100+ but it doesn't really give you much accessibility. I think if students and tutors had direct contact, it would be easier to get answers in a timely manner which would create more usefulness. **Recommendations to others considering Course Hero:** I would opt for udemy or codeacademy or even studygate. As a biomedical engineering student, Course Hero was a great resource when I was studying for classes and exams. **What do you dislike about Course Hero?** Currently, my university is not represented on the website, so I think Course Hero would benefit by increasing school representation and widening the pool of resources for students. **What problems is Course Hero solving and how is that benefiting you?** Course Hero definitely benefits students who may be struggling with classes and may not be the financial means to pay for tutors or study resources.
