The ease of use is the best aspect of the software. If you have used other type softwares, integrating is very fast and easy. Keystrokes mimic a "gamer" style, which was easy to assimilate to.

From manual to auto counting both are simpler process. The auto count takes some time to trust and get use to. When doing lengths, the ability to change and move the lines is super easy and fun.

The estimating portion of the software is very indepth and easy to generate.

The best part of the software are the people behind it. The Customer Service is 5 Star. The Chat/Messaging feature is awesome. They reply quickly and will jump through fire hoops to help you in any way. My company is in the US, while they are based in UK. A huge time difference. I have never been without a fast resolution. Any changes to the software, to help our company achieve our goal, has always been at the top of their list.

There are many features to assist with your estimates. Bottom line; Easy, Easy, Easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dont think these are downsides but it would be nice if they could be worked on.

1. The ability to change the size of symbols when applied manually

2. The ability to customize the symbols by adding numbers or letters to them

3. Scaling is cumbersome, but there are some things in the works to help fine tune it.

4. Not all print types are able to be auto counted. It all depends on how the drawings were created and saved. It'll never be perfect and its okay, but a small note to mention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I appreciate most about Countfire is that after you count and define a symbol correctly, the software automatically recognizes and counts the same symbols on subsequent sheets. One aspect I find lacking is the speed of the web version, which, in my experience, feels quite slow. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the forward navigation buttons are missing, which makes moving through the interface less convenient. I find Countfire incredibly valuable for low voltage estimation because it makes counting devices and measuring cable pathways very easy and saves tons of time. I really like the user-friendly GUI which is easy to navigate, and the built-in shortcuts make it even easier. I appreciate that it was built by people who understand low voltage estimating, so it doesn't require extensive training. Countfire was a much easier interface to use and navigate than McCormick, which was what I used before. The initial setup was also very easy thanks to the Countfire staff. So far I am in the beginning process of working through Countfire estimating a very large data center. I am light years ahead of where I would be with our previous estimating software. The takeoff portion of the software is unbelievably intuitive and far and away more user-friendly than any estimating software that I have previously used. The in-chat feature is amazing with customer service right at your fingertips and I have yet to experience a wait time longer than a couple minutes before someone has engaged and looking into my question. Count Fire stands out for its remarkable speed and ease of use, significantly accelerating the estimating process. The checks sheet is particularly efficient, making it quick and straightforward to confirm that the correct items have been selected. An option for manual counting would be beneficial, especially for plans that are difficult to import, such as those drawn informally on a "wet bar napkin style". I like that when doing Linear Measures you can break it down to individual lengths or have it as a total, the ease of making groups and different item names, and being able to use multiples on these. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although it is much better now sometimes doing the Count function can miss parts but this can now be easily corrected, I would say the Zoning Function can be quite difficult Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
