Couchdrop is a fast and easy to integrate option for getting an SFTP solution up and running in a SOC 2 compliant environment. We were able to go from finding the tool to implementing in less than a week, with the majority of our proof of concept accomplished in 1 day. From a cost perspective, it helps avoid the expense of pen tests, the added costs that come with expanding audit scope, and the engineering overhead required to manage a secure file transfer solution. I wish there were more guides on how to auto-provision users and folders via the API, and more secure webhook features, like a signature-key architecture, so we can verify that the webhooks are actually coming from Couchdrop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
