The implementation was easy, because you have to create an instance. then only you have to sincronice the NGFW to this service. **What do you dislike about Cortex Data Lake?** May be the costs of the cloud storage, and the minimum size. **What problems is Cortex Data Lake solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps me to have a cloud storage for all the Firewalls and Endpoint protection logs. You can also set the storage for different types like Traffic, Threat, System, Configuration etc according to your requirements. **What do you dislike about Cortex Data Lake?** The most disliked thing about the cortex data lake is that you can not forward the cortex data lake to SIM and SNMP. So I suggest to the Palo Alto team to please provide log forwarding for these servers also. **What problems is Cortex Data Lake solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have solved the log redundancy problem from the cortex data lake. Also, this is cloud-based storage so we have no headache of managing the logs and fear of losing logs or crashing the hard disc. ### 4. But integration with third-party vendors using API connection can be improved for better results on threat and malicious content identification and classification. **What problems is Cortex Data Lake solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using cortex lake I was able to identify and classify the threats occurring in the real-time environment. as it contains data about all threats on up to date conditions it was very useful for real-time threat identification. ### 7. Also, it is a bit costly than other tools providing the same service. **What problems is Cortex Data Lake solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have Palo Alto NGFW and Cortex XDR in our environment deployed for users' security, all the logs of both these solutions are stored, integrated, and analyzed on Cortex Data lake.
