What do you like best about CopyWipe?

What do you dislike about CopyWipe?

It would be nice to have the option to wipe, copy or partition the harddrive to add some additional features to the software. What do you like best about CopyWipe?

It was easy to download and use - even for someone who was as green to doing hard drive wipes. For a process that was stressing me out, it was truly easy to use and follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CopyWipe?

It was recommended to a friend. Without him giving me a link to it, it was a bit hard to find just by googling their name alone. They could benefit from some SEO work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CopyWipe solving and how is that benefiting you?

They specialize in, from what their sight and app say, hard drive maintenance, such as copying or wiping hard drives. That's what I used it for - I was getting rid of an old laptop but wanted to ensure it was wiped clean first and a friend recommended this software to me. The app was easy to uninstall once done too (I don't like keeping free apps around, I rather re-download if needed again) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CopyWipe?

There are a lot of things I like about CopyWipe. I like the fact that it is lightweight. The interface is simple and easy to navigate. Copying one hard drive to another is was, fast and secure. "Love this retro looking software."

What do you like best about CopyWipe?

It wipes the data all clean, without the need to worry about any sensitive info or potential damage or virus file remaining on the system. And not to forget the rocket transfer speed copywipe provides to make work faster.

It is always a concern that we have to ensure flash drives or hard drives are clean before we share the data. Copywipe provides that we need to worry about it. It is a freeware which makes it more likely to be choosen.

What do you like best about CopyWipe?

In my IT support days, we needed to wipe the hard disks before giving it out for recycling and sometimes we needed to copy data from one drive into another copy wipe is the go to one stop solution for the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CopyWipe?

The user interface is not great, It does the job but the UI looks kind of old and not updated at all, That is the only negative point besides it has been discontinued by the publisher terabyte which is another reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CopyWipe?

A free console-based program called CopyWipe offers the ability to securely wipe a hard drive's data and copy its contents from one drive to another. CopyWipe's user interface is pretty simple to understand. You have the option of copying or wiping the drive. You must choose a source drive and a target drive for the copying; the rest is done automatically.

With any freeware there is always questions about how frequent sofware is updated to ensure bug fixes, and also security of data is super important and how much the data is being shared, stored or seen from a third party company that may result in data leak / data breach. CopyWipe provides an easy solution to copy contents or securely wipeout the whole content of a hard drive. This freeware uses some of industry standards and military grade security measures to wipe the drive in a way that would not leave traces or allow for bad sectors on the drive. CopyWipe is a free application, and the main two features are – copying the contents of a hard drive to another and securely wiping the contents. We need one source and one target hard drive to execute the copy operations. The two versions (one from windows and another from bootable drives through DOS) work perfectly.
