I can't say enough good things about the help I personally received from the President Tom Fanelli. I attended a webinar that he spoke at and afterward reached out to see if he could give me some advice on ways we could speed up the page load times of our website. I was frustrated because I was getting nowhere with our website agency and only excuses as to why our website was slow. Within minutes of sending my email, Tom returned my request and jumped on a call to help (I'm not even his client and he's doing this). That's unheard of in today's world. Especially having the CEO himself reach out and help. He easily could have ignored me or fobbed me off to some lower- level team member. But he quickly had me on a call and within about 20 mins. he had quickly upgraded the speed and load times of our website. As I said, we aren't even a client of Convesio.com. But you can bet that if this is how he treats non-clients, we'll be switching to his hosting service very soon. Tom, thank you again for your assistance. When I have had small hiccups with my sitem their staff were able to resolve those issues instantly, in a fast and efficient manner. The best part is that if you need multiple people to assist, say tech support and billing, they are able to deal with the whole issue in a single chat instance. **What do you dislike about Convesio?** Once or twice I have spotted billing irregularities on my account, but after a quick e-mail or webchat the whole thing gets resolved really quickly. We immediately had a significant boost in speed and performance and as part of the package we now have enterprise Cloudflare included, so our security features are very good. Convesio also offers light development support and pro services including security audits, and page speed optimization. They use containers and microservices to create a highly scalable environment for Wordpress. When you create a site on Convesio it has load balancers, a clustered DB, and runs on multiple servers. This increases your sites stability and access to more resources as it scales. We tried to build this solution using Amazon and all the tech they have, it tooks us months and we were getting nowhere. Convesio has it all figured out and wrapped in a super easy to use interface. **What do you dislike about Convesio?** I would like more control over specific variables in the configuration, this system was designed for non-developers, so its easy and they have access to all the important features, but you really cannot go in and configure any specific server variables in the web server. It's work waiting on. **Recommendations to others considering Convesio:** I have been in the hosting business for over 20 years. Convesio is relatively new compared to most. But their team is skilled and very knowledgeable. Do not make the mistake both for you and your business by passing on the Convesio Platform. We used several companies like HostGator, Bluehost and other shared hosting providers. Eventually we graduated to Flywheel after switching hosts at least half a dozen times. The problem was that things always started great, but degraded over time and when issues did come up support was always very difficult to deal with. In some cases we had deeper technical issues like sites loading slow and even getting hacked, to which the prior hosts would never help with. It made us feel like we were alone and had to lean more on our dev team, taking them off new client projects. All that changed once we switched to Convesio. With Convesio we started using their chat support and night or day they respond in seconds. About 90% of the time the issue can be resolved by their tech team during the chat, so there is very little instances things have to be escalated. These people are experts on WordPress, servers, performance and security. WE LOVE THE SUPPORT!!! In addition, we used to get distracted by sites randomly going down, with Convesio they monitor our sites and if they ever have an issue, they jump in to fix it, before it ever gets to my clients attention. We had a plugin that was incompatible with the latest version of WooCommerce and one of our devs updated WooCommerce, the out of date plugin crashed the site and Convesio detected it in minutes and disabled the plugin, then reported it to us. I never had to tell them anything or submit a support ticket. Our company has upgraded to their Slack support, which is where we are all connected on slack and each of our team has access to multiple team members on Convesio's end and its AMAZING! They feel like an extension of our team! The ideal came with Convesio: they took over the task of migrating the site, setting up the site, doing some QA on the site, AND it saves us money and time. **What do you dislike about Convesio?** Might be a benefit to some and a detriment to others, but Convesio clearly likes to walk people through the process of setting up and migrating accounts. I didn’t mind considering I didn’t want to do it anyway. There is a process to setup a trial and roll your own setup, though. **What problems is Convesio solving and how is that benefiting you?** For years we’ve tried hosts that keep getting gobbled up by other, larger hosting providers. We’ve always wanted a provider that was just a little bit hungrier to try and stay in front of trends and help us along when we have weird bugs or issues.
