ContractReview is an AI-powered contract analysis platform designed for people who need to review contracts but don't have access to in-house legal counsel. Upload a PDF, DOCX, or TXT file and the AI instantly scans every section, flags risky clauses, assigns risk scores from 0-100, and generates a downloadable report. The product was born from personal experience. The founder, a solo developer, signed a freelance contract that contained a hidden 90-day non-compete clause buried on page 11. The oversight cost him a project and months of lost income. He built ContractReview so other freelancers, founders, and small business owners don't fall into the same trap. Core capabilities include AI-driven clause risk detection across multiple categories —auto-renewal traps, one-sided indemnification, overbroad IP assignment language, hidden liability caps, and vague termination clauses. Each section of the uploaded contract receives a color-coded risk score, with plain-English explanations of why each flagged clause is problematic and what to look for instead. Paid plans include a track-changes DOCX export feature that generates a redlined version of the contract with suggested revisions, ready to send back to the counterparty.
