## Constellix Reviews
  ### 1. Still a UX and UI hot mess

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Constellix?**

Nothing- it costs money and you get less service and speed.

**What do you dislike about Constellix?**

its not really fast vs the competition anymore.
No DNSSEC and support treats you like a pleb for asking. Need the $$$$$$ corporate account.
SUPER SLOW propagation, like overnite if you set TTL to 30, min on NS is 1200. 12 hours and one of my records still hasnt proagated fully.
It costs money- IT COSTS MONEY TO HAVE MANAGED DNS HERE VS CF. WHY DO YOU WANT TO PAY AND HAVE A SLOWER SITE? a touch faster than my domain registor, epik.
wonky interface still.
Interface still not intuitive.
slow.

**What problems is Constellix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ideally, every commercial website should separate its DNS hosting from the domain registry.

It's hard to find a good Managed DNS service outside CF.

Using Constellix for the 2nd time, I left CF because I wanted to give it another shot. NO.

It's not good or better than keeping your records. What is the point of paying when you can get it faster and free?

In addition, they have had zero innovation or product improvements since they were bought out. DNSSEC came out 15 years ago to help secure email. Microsoft 365 uses DNSSEC, and most business emails are sent through this service.

This is a hard no for me. I am never coming back.

  ### 2. Years of excellent service

**What do you like best about Constellix?**

Managing hundreds of our nonprofit customers' DNS, Constellix provides us with an easy-to-use platform that also incorporates advanced features that we require. Their reliability is also exceptional.

**What do you dislike about Constellix?**

We have not had any problems with their product or working with their fabulous team.

**What problems is Constellix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us easily support and manage our nonprofit customer's DNS requirements while keeping our costs affordable.

  ### 3. Advanced Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Constellix?**

I like the advanced features that are available and utilize their Geo IP services. Its a great way to block traffic in certain areas and you can get quite specific on your location: Country, State, Region, and City. We are concerned with attacks and their real-time anomaly detection offering is a nice offering and provides peace of mind. I started using their sonar monitoring before I moved my DNS over, and I was sold on the accuracy and speed.

**What do you dislike about Constellix?**

Some of the features are more advanced than I would need, but if you are a large organization with a specific use case, they have everything you would need to configure complex configurations. The platform is clean, and you need to know what you are doing... That being said, they have excellent support to assist when needed.

**What problems is Constellix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I realized with their multicdn solution, that one of my cdn providers was performing significantly slower than the other. Their performance-based routing helped with our latency issues. They haven't had an outage, and in the past we have utilized other providers that proved to be costly. Their uptime has never been an issue.

**What problems is Constellix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing us best in class DNS service with advanced features (geo, geo proximity, failover features).

  ### 5. everything you need to maintain your servers up to date

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** deivis m. | asistente de ingeniero, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Constellix?**

very good program to maintain the programs in an effective way, when we have a large amount of data and equipment interconnected at the same time we need that functions at great speeds, but this is very complicated since every time we interconnect new equipment and new systems within the organization of the company becomes more difficult to do the necessary follow-up and with this program we can get reports of possible failures that are presented at the moment remotely. avoiding the score in the electronic and wiring boards looking for the problem. When we have more flaws in the systems of the company, it is much more simple with this program to get quick answers to apply the necessary corrections

**What do you dislike about Constellix?**

I think it lacks a bit of precision because in some cases they do not come up with the right fault or they can not give the result in an adequate way to correct flaws that are massive, without envargo with an interconnection as big as the one we handle in our industry. It is transnational as we are present in several countries and all our servers, both main and backup data to avoid loss of information in extreme cases is very difficult to correct damage when they occur on a large scale, when the damage is local are very fast to the time to give an accurate answer.

**Recommendations to others considering Constellix:**

It is worth the investment since its system departments could solve massive failures in a quick and timely manner, they will not regret implementing it or replacing other control systems that they have.

**What problems is Constellix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paying technicians who are not trained or do not have experience with such large networks sometimes becomes a problem for the company, without this program we can help our system department to be a little easier and faster their work, since When massive failures occur, we need them to be taken as quickly as possible since otherwise they could be a lot of money to be lost as well as delays in projects that merit being handed out in an opotun way.
