It's helpful in that it is engaging and feels like fun as opposed to completing a task correctly. Annual reviews can raise anxiety and feel like a lot of pressure in some cases, but with the way confirm is formatted. It feels fun.

What an amazing and impactful way to collect feedback, 360 feedback is always the most telling and removes politics out of the equation. Confirm is a cutting edge tool that allows companies to leverage a 360 view of employee performance. Plus the UI is extremely modern and easy to use, and removes anxiety from the process

I would like to add one to one interaction with members who are sharing higher responsibilities but have few points of dissatisfaction.

I hope Confirm will be able to communicate employee's feelings to Top Management. And ensure that Management will take corrective actions to acheive satisfaction of each employee. Similarly if Employee is not suitable the same should be communicated to him and correct.

**What do you like best about Confirm?**

I like the weekly check-in feature and the agenda items for weekly meetings. The review process has been incredible! We were using word documents and spreadsheets. Confirm has been an amazing and easy-to-use platform.

**What do you dislike about Confirm?**

As a user, there are some things that I don't have an answer for, and I would like to skip the question. I find myself having to enter things like N/A or I have nothing to say about this. It is probably more of an issue with how we implemented it, but it is something that bothers me.

We needed a simple, modern and standardized way of conducting teammate reviews. This has more than met our expectations and made the process quicker.

I wish the objectives tab was laid out in bullet points in terms of creating steps for goals/projects. There is definitely a way to make it look more organized. Potentially even adding a time frame/dates button

Their people.  As a startup, things move fast and I cannot say enough about our consultant, Nicole!  Having a personal consultant on standby to chat with, and help collect data at a moments notice is priceless.  No "survey monkeying" around!  She recommended we make changes and actually reformatted our survey on the fly to survey our company for our leadership conference in next week!

Setting up a survey was a little clunky for our custom questions, would have liked a better perspective on the output of the question types selected.  It was hard to format and understand the question entry, or I spent a lot of time one evening having to configure this.

Getting a survey to collect actionable data fast.

Confirm is solving the problem most companies have... which is employee recognition. A lot of companies have people that may not be the centre of attention. This employees that work in the dark, are shy and do not want attention, do deserve the proper recognition.

There is not accountability or visibility to quarterly checks. Who is reviewing this? There needs to be proper training with HR or upper management on transparency. This will increase participation.

CONFIRM was implimented  for yearly reviews allowing for an easy platform for employees to share feedback- However, what I have discovered is that when providing feedback, this allows for employees to leave anonymous reviews with no substance or relevance.

Confirm offers a comprehensive suite of features including feedback management, 1:1 tracking, objective setting, aspirations alignment, note-taking, surveys, and performance assessment. One standout feature that sets Confirm apart is its intuitive interface, making it remarkably simple to navigate and utilize effectively.

One aspect of Confirm that I particularly appreciate is its emphasis on recognition and appreciation through the provision of gold stars. This feature allows users to acknowledge the efforts of their peers easily, fostering a culture of appreciation within the workplace.

**What do you dislike about Confirm?**

I encountered a minor issue during my usage of Confirm when I needed to edit a feedback entry. Unfortunately, the platform does not currently support this feature, necessitating manual intervention from the technical support team. While the support team promptly addressed my request, I believe that in this digital age, the inability to edit feedback directly within the platform seems somewhat outdated and could be improved upon.

**What do you like best about Confirm?**

Confirm is a fantastic tool that was recently implemented at my corporation.  Moving from a different platform, I was at first concerned about learning a brand new platform.  Overall, the platform is beyond easy to use and the Confirm team was on standby to assist with any questions.  I personally enjoy the opportunity to provide public feedback to my colleagues on an online platform.

**What do you dislike about Confirm?**

There are no noticeable drawbacks to using Confirm.  In the few months that I have actively used the platform, I have had no issues with performance.  I think it would also be great to have a weekly (or monthly) round up email where they share who the top contributors in a corporation are.

**What problems is Confirm solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is the ability to post public feedback.  This feedback empowers employees to strive for the best.

I liked using confirm because it was super easy. I could find my peers and give them shout outs or look into who works with me.

Their wasn't anything that I disliked about confirm. It was user friendly and always had a tutorial to walk me through new features.

It is allowing me to let others know who I appreciate at work. We can see what our peers are also saying about their peers. This allows me to see who I have a similar positin with to connect with if I have any issues.

Confirm is great at organizing my objectives for the quarter and easily checking in and updating my progress throughout the quarter. I like the emphasis on team building and building others up with reviewing how others have done a great job. Every quarter is something new and I like the opportunity to continue to look at different aspects to improve in the workplace.

I can't find anything I have disliked with Confirm.

Confirm is a great place to set out objectives for the quarter and track those throughout the quarter. It is a great location for reviewing milestones and yearly progress. Previously we had set goals but Confirm is an easy access location to update goal status while also giving feedback to upper management on who is doing a great job and who could use more help.

I appreciated that one of my co-workers views me as a source of motivation. The platform was also easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Confirm?**

This platform seems biased. First, it's unlikely anyone would rate their supervisors poorly, knowing that they can see the feedback. Second, the academic environment isn't typically one where people readily celebrate each other's successes, so it's rare to find comments highlighting a colleague as a motivator, advisor, or exemplary figure.

**What problems is Confirm solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None.

**Official Response from David Murray:**

> Thanks for sharing your experience. You mentioned the belief that managers can see your feedback, but it's important to know that Confirm does not show your identity. For small teams, managers cannot see their upward feedback, and for larger teams, the results are anonymized so you cannot see who shared what. For the data from ONA, to ensure psychological safety, only a person's manager and above and HR administrators can see any critical comments that are left about them.

In terms of bias, in fact Confirm was purpose-built to combat the bias from traditional performance reviews. Specifically, these traditional reviews have both idiosyncratic manager rating bias from manager reviews (google "Maynard Goff manager ratings" for the study), and selection bias from peer 360's, i.e. people pick who is and is not allowed to say anything about them, and even when managers curate this list, research shows that 90% of the critical feedback is missed due to this selection bias. Unfortunately, people who effectively manage up, particularly extroverts, benefit most from this status quo.

Confirm combats these biases by not gatekeeping who is allowed to share what they see about the people around them, and creating a psychologically safe way to do so by protecting their identity. Research shows that this methodology combats the popularity contest that can occur from peer 360's, and in fact Confirm's methodology reveals a large number of "quiet contributors" -- these are people who are creating immense value for the people around them but may not manage up.

from my experince nothing much.
it do what it should do.
maybe you can add somthing to make a session between the maneager and the employee and a check list.
I think one more thing is that you need to make it used more through the year.
for example I only used it once in the end of the year.
