## Computrition Reviews
  ### 1. Could be better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ka Ming L. | Food Services Supervisor/Diet Technician/Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Computrition?**

Can enter dislikes or likes as patients food preferences. But some of its categories is too not specific enough eg. Pepper (is it black pepper or chili pepper). They provide a clear list of discharges or transfers of patients and users are able to delete them after checking.

**What do you dislike about Computrition?**

The space for Special /personalized note on food menu ticket is limited. The conditioning offer takes a lot of time to do. For food size or special note there is no build in function that diet technicians can just drag and drop eg. Double meat, double soup

**What problems is Computrition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help establish menu ticket so that we don't have to write it out manually and it is able to keeps
a record of patients food preferences . We can implement a 14 day menu cycle as its base so patients /consumers are able to have a variety of food.

  ### 4. Could be friendlier

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Computrition?**

I like that you can see each of the items offered bur not how you copy meals. I wish you could select separate days to copy to and not just days in a row.

**What do you dislike about Computrition?**

The above, copying meals only works for days in a row and not random or alternating days

**What problems is Computrition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Placing patient orders timely and effectively

  ### 5. Using for long term care hospital as dietary technician

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

User friendly and easy to train others on it too

**What do you dislike about Computrition?**

Some features require too many button clicks to print

**What problems is Computrition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very helpful with the variety of tallies generated

  ### 6. Low Functionality Food Service System

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maureen Y. | Menu Management Specialist

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Computrition?**

There is nothing I like about Computrition

**What do you dislike about Computrition?**

Manual data updates, manual nutrition approval, lack of reporting, minimal ability to export data without having to purchase additional modules, mealtimes cannot overlap and cannot be assigned by day of the week, so having brunch doesn't work since it would overlap existing times for lunch and brunch, the schema system requiring multiple logins to work for multiple locations. I could go on but...you get the idea.

**What problems is Computrition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not solving anything with Computrition

  ### 7. Computrition

I like how it is user friendly and the format is good.

**What do you dislike about Computrition?**

Additional options for tallies and reports would be great.

**What problems is Computrition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for long term care home/hospital food service management. It works well for its intention.

  ### 9. it is a good nutrition record keeping program for patients.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Computrition?**

create meal tickets with detail e.g.: allergies, diet texture, prefernce
user friendly

**What do you dislike about Computrition?**

Some times system is down, no access
sometimes system is slow

**Recommendations to others considering Computrition:**

yes indeed

**What problems is Computrition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

create repots

  ### 10. Missing crucial features for a hospital food service management program

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Computrition?**

The option to copy menus made menu building easier.

**What do you dislike about Computrition?**

The program lacks crucial features for a high acuity hospital: There is no way of totaling and monitoring fluid restrictions, multiple diet restrictions cause chaos on the trays, and the software’s method for accomodating dislikes and allergies can cause tray tickets to look like someone just listed items at random. The program does not work well for cook-chill systems. Tray tickets have to be reviewed and corrected by the diet clerk frequently due to the software’s lack of algorithm. The company sent staff to help with the implementation for 2 days, but they did very little except observe the chaos the software created.

**Recommendations to others considering Computrition:**

If you mostly serve Regular diets and rarely have dietary restrictions, this program seemed to work okay. If you are a high acuity facility with renal diets, many allergies, fluid restrictions, etc this is not the software program for you.

**What problems is Computrition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program improved communication among food service staff regarding what items were on the menu for the day.

  ### 11. Great for recipes

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlin A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Computrition?**

Easy to find all sorts of recipes and pictures

**What do you dislike about Computrition?**

Some of the recipes could use updating and testing.

**What problems is Computrition solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardized recipes
