**What do you like best about Compensation IQ?**

The fact its a quick, reliable all in one compensation benchmarking across roles, levels, location, and industries, which makes it much easier to make informed decisions. It helps us stay competitive, saves a lot of time compared to manual research, and supports consistency as we grow; especially for niche AI and engineering roles that are hard to price. It's intuitive to use, easy to set up, and gives us everything we need in one place for offers, pay reviews, and internal equity. It has helped us shape our compensation philosophy.

**What do you dislike about Compensation IQ?**

Nothing at the moment, it's been a real game changer for us.

**What problems is Compensation IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the challenge of benchmarking niche AI roles, an all in one source of market data. It removes guesswork, helps us stay competitive for hiring and retention, and has enabled us to build a scalable, data-driven compensation philosophy.

**What do you like best about Compensation IQ?**

I like how interactive the data is and how you can add your own data to benchmarks too. It means we can build a really solid picture over time of how salaries might change and what the differentiators are. Implementation was really straightforward and it was easy to see how the data applied to our roles and where things might be slightly different (we have some very niche science roles). The team were also really quick to respond to any queries we had.

**What do you dislike about Compensation IQ?**

It would have been useful to be able to re-run searches with tweaks to different fields rather then re-input information each time, but I understand this is a feature they are working on

**What problems is Compensation IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our compensation framework is quite bulky for the size of company we are, but the leadership were keen not to change the fundamentals. The solution Compensation IQ offered was a data-centric approach to benchmarking that we could apply our own framework filters to. It means performance reviews and outcomes will be backed by solid data, and not just frameworks and policies, which will now be used as a support tool rather than the main anchor of reviews.

**What do you like best about Compensation IQ?**

I really like Compensation IQ for providing us with data that we can use in salary conversations and real-time reports on salary changes, allowing us to compare by industry and location. It equips our managers to handle salary conversations better and helps us assess agency progress. I appreciate the customizable data that fits our company needs and the easy comparison of benchmarks. The split of data sets available makes it much easier to understand differences. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, just a simple spreadsheet upload.

I like Compensation IQ for its ease of use and the variety of sources it provides. It helps me recognise where the data is strong or where it might need further analysis. Using both Lightcast data and self-reported sources is powerful, especially for niche roles in a global business. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Compensation IQ?**

Maybe not as suitable for senior roles, but has the potential if we invest more time and utilise other additional paid sources on the platform.

**What problems is Compensation IQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Compensation IQ for compensation benchmarking and market intelligence, especially for niche frontline roles in the bicycle industry. It’s easy to use, with a variety of sources, and it highlights data strengths effectively, using tools like Lightcast for global business needs.

like how you are able to combine benchmarking data sets together to create ranges based on job posts and salary data from Mercer

**What do you dislike about Compensation IQ?**

Quite a bit of clicking whilst intuitive for the most part it does take a little time to get up to speed and feel comfortable navigating - especially the mercer data
