**What do you like best about CodeCrew?**

I appreciate how CodeCrew has helped us understand email marketing and translate data in a way that actually makes sense. They have improved our overall email designs and organized our flows efficiently. More than just reducing our workload, they have relieved the mental stress of trying to figure everything out on our own. I find the monthly reports really helpful, as they offer transparency and assist us in strategizing for the upcoming month. I love their initiative and how they take on the work as if it's their own. Their email designs and the way they are organized and strategize everything is something I really like. I would recommend CodeCrew as they not only get the work done but also help us understand the scope of the work.

**What do you like best about CodeCrew?**

The team listened to feedback and adjusted to match our tone including verbiage and industry acronyms. Very fast to pivot when needed. After the initial onboarding and a few email campaigns working together, things started falling into place much easier. Less edits or adjustments needed besides maybe an image or using language that we'd prefer.

**What do you dislike about CodeCrew?**

The team works very fast! We're a small team, and they often out-paced us and had things ready to go in advance where we became the bottleneck getting some campaigns out the door. They are very communicative though and quick to call our attention to the things that need addressed immediately.

**Recommendations to others considering CodeCrew:**

If you need to generate, capture, and nurture contacts or inbound leads, CodeCrew gave us a huge boost with getting together a clean, consistent, and directed marketing campaigns for the plethora of industries and user types that we support. We're able to better track where leads come from, what specific features are of interest, and even qualify the size of the groups so we can prioritize our limited attention.

**What do you like best about CodeCrew?**

It’s the people. I’ve worked with a number of different agencies in the past, and since joining Knife Aid, I can say Codecrew has built a truly top-tier team. Everyone we interact with—from the copywriters to the project coordinators and project managers—is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely personable.

I don’t have any dislikes at all—I can’t recommend them enough!

**What do you like best about CodeCrew?**

They're collaborative, organized, and genuinely easy to work with. Our two reps are fantastic. They know their stuff, keep everything running smoothly, and have built a great working rhythm with us. When we push back on copy or request changes, they hear us out and actively look for ways to elevate the work. Their willingness to go the extra mile, like squeezing in a last-minute asset or copy updates close to send time, tells you a lot about how they operate.

**What do you dislike about CodeCrew?**

The points-based system used for work estimation can be a little difficult to parse on its own, but our reps are great at setting the right expectations and clearly communicating when something will require an additional round of work, so in practice it hasn't been an issue. The only other thing worth mentioning is that copy can occasionally feel a little broad, but it's something that is naturally improving with time and deeper understanding of our brand.

**Recommendations to others considering CodeCrew:**

Invest time upfront in getting them properly acquainted with your brand voice, customer, and product. The more context you give them early, the faster the work will reflect your brand authentically. If you're a small team that needs a reliable, professional email marketing partner without the overhead of hiring in-house, CodeCrew is well worth considering, especially if you get reps as solid as ours! 😁

Email marketing at the level our brand requires (professional design, audience segmentation, campaign analysis, and reporting) is simply beyond what our small internal team has bandwidth for. CodeCrew handles all of that, allowing our marketing team to focus on strategy and other channels without our email program suffering. For a brand like ours selling high-consideration, often once-in-a-lifetime purchases, staying in front of customers with well-executed campaigns genuinely moves the needle.

I also appreciate their proactive communication—they often come to us with new ideas and optimizations before we even realize we need them. It feels like having an elite in-house team without the overhead.

There is very little to criticize. If I had to pick something, the onboarding process is very rigorous and requires a lot of initial input from the client side, but it’s only because they are so committed to getting the brand voice and technical setup right from day one.

If you are looking for a "set it and forget it" agency that actually delivers ROI, CodeCrew is the gold standard. My advice would be to trust their data—they know the email space better than most, and if you follow their strategic recommendations, you will see the results in your bottom line.

CodeCrew has completely taken the guesswork out of our lifecycle marketing. They solved our struggle with low engagement and inconsistent sending cadences by implementing high-performing automated flows and a data-driven campaign calendar. There’s very little we dislike about CodeCrew. Because we’re all remote workers, response times can depend on where your staff rep is located and the time zone they’re in. That said, it has never been an issue for us thanks to the clear workflows and expectations set by their editorial and design team.

CodeCrew has been a solution for many small non-profit organizations like ours. At a time when we’re struggling to generate enough revenue to cover all the essential functions of our organization, it helps to leave our marketing assets to professionals who truly align with our mission and vision. One of the things I appreciate most about CodeCrew is how well they communicate and stay organized. Their team is responsive, transparent with updates, and keeps work structured in a way that makes it easy to track progress and move projects forward efficiently.

One area that could be improved is the point-based system used for work estimation and tracking. It can sometimes be difficult to clearly understand how points translate into actual deliverables, effort, and expected outcomes
